I’ve been playing off and on since ‘07. I’ve had 8 accounts since ‘08 - mining, of course. Through multiple computers, always having to jack with overviews - I never knew you could have multiple overview windows open simultaneously. What a game changer!! I’ve been using this overview on one of my mains since Friday - have converted five accounts including alts so far! I did know the overview copy trick before. I just can’t say enough about the multiple overviews and your intelligent layout/filter sets. I’m still getting familiar with where to look for stuff. (alike level 4 mission and the acceleration gate wasn’t in the window the rats were in - once I realized where to look. I like it but still getting used to it)
please keep making eve videos. it's so hard to find decent eve content on youtube. clear upward trajectory in quality of your vids too. keep up the good stuff. u rule
absolutely love this layout and really helped me narrow mine down. I'm guessing my screen size is drastically smaller than yours as it clustered all of my stuff together. currently working on resizing all the windows so i can get everything to fit lol. thank so much for the video
Thanks! I'd be interested in the Ships Label. You lightly touchbased with the Brackets, but I don't want to overwrite my Overview setup with yours, and I only want the DScan filters, and the Ships Labels... Is it possible to share it separately? Thanks in advance!
Nice work! What I really dislike is, when I have Fleet in that triple window and I dock up, it will show down there and it kinda annoys me, otherwise really well made as expected. :)
Cool guide! I'd rather have D-scan window in place of local chat, just to keep all important info on one side of the monitor. 'Warp to' being central window is really odd too. It could be placed somewhere on the left. Main pvp window is way too small and placed too low for my personal taste. I'd also add mobile depot, tractor and standard cargo containers into pvp window, mainly useful when fighting caps and crabs in general.
If that works for you. I have way more information at my needs for my setup. I cluster my 'stuff' similar to the philosophy of a keyboard. My most used stuff is minimal mouse movements away. And I layer shit so everything is just a click away where I need it to be. I'm so fond of my 'stuff' I'm not even interested in sharing a screen shoot of it. I consider it an advantage of mine, and honestly, what I do see from others makes me cringe. Yours included. ;) With that said, I did learn something from this and I will test and put it to use.

I do like seeing what other people are doing though so I can improve what works for me like the boarder thing that I had never considered.
I followed the steps and it only loaded part of it? Windows changed but nothing in my overview.... I reset everything multiple times and reloaded. It creates all the new windows/settings and so on.. but nothing ever shows up in overview like you have. -Update, compared it to yours and it didn't put the windows in the right spots either.... what scale do you have this at or resolution? Weird how this isn't working. Thanks!

This overview is not good. Too many tabs that should be all in one. You need to learn to click between your tabs, not separate them into 100 windows. As of now, there’s only select ways multi boxes are useful, and this isn’t it. Tip to take away from his video though - it is good to have certain windows such as your probe window, or local cropped down in size. They don’t need to be huge. Give yourself the space to add other useful windows, such as your drone bay while keeping things clean looking.DONT have all these windows he’s showing though

Yes, this is how I do it, but took me quite some effort to figure this out. Good that someone managed to wrap it in a video.
I've been trying to figure out how to transfer my overview layout between characters for a while, finally a good video showing how.

well took some fixing but made it work probably because of scaling to the window but its a hefty layout kinda overwhelming but I can get used to it.

The fast forwarding in the end makes things worse. It skips a few important different steps that makes the UI way more messy.
