Mate. Put Console update in the title. Helps with the search. Menu or the 3 lines will get you to setups. Dirty windscreen on lap 2 with no other cars? Good? You were on controller when your pedals weren't working. And some buttons are hard coded which is why you were looking left and right in car. Why they did that? Who knows. This update is another online multiplayer stuff up. Not as bad as 1.7 but its coming a close 2nd.
Thanks! Always appreciate input!! I read that the menu button works for setups after we shot the video, so that's good to know. The windscreen dirty after 2 laps on an empty track, good point. We'll see when we spend more time with it. The controller was off, I verified that at the 6:24 mark. The hard coded L & R view buttons are new. We'll see what kind of patches come out for this one, but to me it's not nearly the mess the 1.7 update was. And maybe, just maybe, they could provide a bit of documentation so discovering what button does what isn't a game unto itself. thanks again!
