Back in the 90s I was paying $60 for an ea sports hockey game. I would gladly pay $100 for an AC game. They have a proven track record for releasing quality racing games.
My guess is on $30-35 for early access, $50-60 for 1.0 release. Keep in mind that you save more momey getting it during early access, because everything added up to 1.0 will be free for all early access buyers. This is a title i want support from day one, given everything kunos will be doing for this title, a gamechanger like misha said.
I wouldn't mind 39.99 for EA if Kunos confirms it includes all the 1.0 launch content of cars and tracks as they release. After 1.0 by all means release some paid DLC for continued development, but when I support a game early I expect to end up with a full product. If EA only provides those 5 tracks and 20 cars then they're gonna nickel and dime us after then it's only worth $10. Most Early Access titles give you the full 1.0 game, but idk what to expect here for a racing game. I'm definitely more hesitant than I was about purchasing now. Cautiously excited.
Marco Massarutto said in the overtake interview that all the content added from to early access to the 1.0 launch will be 100% free, then Maybe we’ll see paid DLC but only after the official release. one thing i know, the price should depend on the market, dont just put a price for everyone, some countries are poor, im from brazil and some games here cost half our monthly salary, obviously people just need to get it in other way, adjust the price for percentage of the averege salary...
@@ResetandoOestado If the game was like 2 dollars to 5 I would buy it but a game costs 50 dollars is like 5k to 7k in my country which is absurd and makes me go to crack games bec I can't afford the official version
They mentioned that the price will reflect its ongoing development, but it's unclear what that means exactly. My guess is the price will be around £40, which likely covers both early access and some of the future content or promises. However, I suspect the open-world feature might end up being a paid DLC, along with other post-launch content after 1.0 release. Considering the direction of the gaming industry and the level of community hype, Kunos might adopt a premium pricing model for most of the additional content added to the game. The business registrations for the open world map also feel a bit sketchy to me. Hopefully, we don’t see the introduction of something like "Kunos coins" for in game purchases.
There's a huge DLC pricing problem in racing sims. Look at GT4, 5 an 6 and Forza 7, Project Cars, etc. Racing games used to include a ton of content from the get go,but as soon as they associate the word "sim" they seem to have a free license to start selling DLC for a ridiculous price. These games are costing $100-$350 if you buy the DLC without some sort of sale. The problem is that people are actually paying those ridiculous prices and it seems to be the norm now, as expected you see more and more companies charging for everything, its kind of getting out of hand. Pretty soon these games are going to cost $1000...if some already don't. If Evo goes that route where you have to pay for everything, Im gonna pass and wait for in inevitable ported content to make its way to AC.
I'm mean to be fair. Most cars in forza 7 have been copied and pasted from 6,5 and probably 4. Then they copy and paist the engine sounds from car to car. Then they charge you full price for a game every 2 years that is actually just a major patch and a few extra cars and tracks if your lucky. Then they charge for dlc on top of that. Except for Forza Motor sport, of course, which was "built from the ground up" ..... .. .. But it was actually a lot of the same models, sounds, and 99% of the physics from 7. In other words, full price for another patch except they took away cars and tracks.
The 1.0 launch will come with 100 cars, it's not a DLC its the official 1.0 launch. Now whether there will be DLCs post 1.0 is yet to be known, but the devs have clearly answered all of these questions on their channel. Why do you intentionally mislead people?
@@Kireth of course there will be DLC in the form of regular updates during EA. I'm not misleading anyone, YOU like to stir up crap and put doubt in people's mind with literally nothing to back it besides your own imagination.
I suspect there will be paid DLC up to and beyond v1.0. I'm hard pressed to believe that the other 80 cars will be free (included) once 1.0 arrives in the fall. This is simply a lot of money left on the table so to speak. People have to think of this as a business (because it is). Kunos needs to recoup over 5 years of development costs. Handing out cars (especially 80 of them) like free candy is not practical from a business sense (unless the base early access game is priced very high to compensate for this - which I frankly don't see happening). And I'm ok with all of this.. they need to make money.. they need to profit so they can keep giving us better content. I think people need to really temper their expectations for free content, otherwise they are simply setting themselves up for disappointment. The safest route is to expect to pay every step of the way. So long as what Kunos is commanding from a price standpoint is reasonable, it will be successful.
3:45 i think 100 cars are plenty, because Kunos are literally spending a lot of time getting the details of that car right as well as including all the different factory customization that you can do. So yeah 100 isn't too bad
@h__adamm___ GT7 has many versions of ine car like gr.4 gr.3, yes the car's visual detail is very high, it is the best. But it doesn't has those factory configurations.
I've been guessing that the prices will be a bit higher than you suggest here. They also said iirc that the price of the Early Access version will increase throughout the Early Access period as more content gets added. And also that once you have bought the Early Access version, all additional content up to v1.0 will be free.
Fed up of early access games charging daft prices for DLC. I aint buying anymore DLC versions of the Nurburgring, COTA, Imola or Interlagos tracks again, as much as I do like whizzing around on them in the various Sims I have.. LMU and Rennsport have lost me with their high DLC prices, I'm hoping EVO wont drive me away as well.
I refused to buy Le Mans Ultimate due to the developer releasing DLC in the early access period. I hope Evo doesn't follow the same trend. Sim racers are constantly being bent over the table with bare bones game releasing and being charged for a few cars and individual tracks.
I just reeeeeeealy hope for modding support. Because for me the original AC is the best sim to have ever existed solely for that reason - I can get any track and any car I want and also I can tweak around with pretty much everything in the game.
@ yeah I’ve heard rumours about Kunos basically entrusting certain modders like VDC, VRC, RSS etc, so ppl who wanna do mods will have to get permission to do that, your opinion on that matter?
£19.99 would be a fair price without online play its not going to hold anyones attention for very long it will basically be a large demo and if they charge anything over 30 im sure it will put some people off buying
Games should cost 40 quid again. Back in the ‘old days’ 40 quid was the high price tag but was reasonable. 80 is ridiculous like why buy a game like f1 for almost 100?!?
Its fine, they can charge more if they make a good game. EA gets away by selling the same game every year for 60 usd or more. I guess its fine if they charge 40 usd at the start.
In 2-3 years after many of the map DLC is released I'm guessing the game + the map DLC's to cost over $200 in total. They might give buyers a subscription option.
I probably gonna try early access and check all of the compabilities (Especially mouse support since AC is one game with the most straightfoward non third party mouse support with little to no damper) and performance on my PC, since from the recent minimum spec released on steam looks fairly promising on my PC. If it's not my jam yet, i'll do a refund and buy the full release in the end since i'm sure AC EVO will be great
I think £40-50 is possible for early access. Forza Motorsport was £70 for the standard edition so I imagine that could be possible. However if they lean on monetising with DLC which they have done in the past then that may mean a lower base game price and then people pick and choose what DLC they want.
I think for the open world Eiffel region to be successful it would need 80-100 player lobbies consistent traffic Ai but also a compelling Touristfarten experience with convincing Ai on track ie 2 Ai lines a slow and fast line where Ai cars can detect faster cars approaching and move over 🤞 Also I don’t think the map needs to be so big for a good Touristfarten experience just maybe 5km around the ring so you can head in to Adenau or for fuel local businesses etc.

For me I will buy it in early access as price would be low at first as they say I am been waiting for it for whole year here comes the trust kunos don’t break it !
Kunos looks to be doing the same release model that they did for AC and ACC. I will get it on the 16th, and I do hope the VR is good from day one, I lost interest in ACC because of the issues they did have with VR, and it's my only concern for the EA launch of EVO. Otherwise I am excited for it.
Reasons why to buy EVO in EA is support devs and have a discount compare to 1.0 version price. I gonna buy it and let is sit for let's say 6 months until you guys test it for me and more content will be released.
$39.99 for early access and every dlc will be $19.99 so about $500 when its all said and done. edit: I'm like $250 into ams2 and 8/10 were bought on steam sales.
There wont be any paid dlc until 1.0 gets released, everything added in early access will be free, sometimes it just feel that some people have it very. Difficult to read.
Guys we've basically gotta wait another year until it's fully released! Until the it's practically a demo 😭 As much as we're trying not to believe this it's unfortunately the truth
I play Assetto Corsa with controller with no issues at all. Is it amazing? No, not at all but it is very manageable, almost as good as in Gran Turismo.
Listening to this I'm just so grateful iv got ac with the laser scanned nordschleife for free and get to race hundreds of amazing mod cars against ai in vr with sol & pure which only cost me £1 each after cancelling the subscription. I feel truly blessed 😂
If history is anything to go by. Game will be **** on release day. Then over a few months will blossom into something special. Kunos have always got there in the end, you just got to think like an Italian and accept, it will be done when its done. Price, my guess £30 for EA, £40 on 1.0 release. Kunos have always been very reasonable on their prices.
Any indication whether it'll support gyro based controller steering? GT7 works well in this, Forza doesn't support officially but you can get it working with steam. ACC was terrible in this regard to drive on controller. Any news whether they've adopted a warmer tone to non-wheel racers?
Haven't heard from them on whether they're improving the controller experience over AC and ACC - not sure whether this a priority for them vs racing wheels (where the handling was very good from my hands on experience)
Early access should be £10 think most would pay £90 for full release with free roam & optimised vr & a massive selection of cars and tracks they need to make all cars available in right & left hand drive for vr players nothing feels more gay than being in vr and shifting on the wrong side in a manual
@@Mr_Nweke it will be $39-ish, I will pay it upfront for the game that will DEFINETELY be worth it in 1 year also will refund within 2 hours if it really sucks and VR is terrible for example.
how no billionaire likes sim racing? if i just had by now the money i totally would enter in this project, if this game have the amount of content that the competition have, track's and car's. they would be the game to go, the physic is not a problem for controller, a more realistic game for sure have a place since no game have this. and this game have the potential to be the end game... they have the physics's to put troffy trucks, rally, karting, monster truck's, Snow, mud etc... just need time, money, and the modders to put the company uniform.
@Kireth i racing was developed just as a racing platform for enthusiast, the evo already have everything done, the platform of assetto corsa with all the mods already have the recipe proved to work, the job is basically to improve and put more content, as i said, expand the limit's of what we know, imagine a monster truck doing jumps in assetto, the public that would come to the game...
currently have $60 steamwallet and i buy it like only $30. sometime E-wallet in my country selling steam wallet with 50% discount. i will buy at early as long as the price under $60 😂
Free roam doesn't really mean arcade most assetto corsa players mod in city maps, touges etc anyways so they probably want to have more console players to play and be able to come back just need to hope they don't f up the physics
Honestly on your pc versus console debate... the pc is far more powerful than consoles. In order for them to make the console version equal to the pc version, you have to gimp the pc version by building it for the console and porting it over. As a pc player, I'm very much against this. Bring as much of the pc experience as you can to the consoles, but not at the cost of gimping our experience so console players can think they're getting the same thing... Now, on the price thing... i think the price should be no more than what they plan to charge on day 1, and ideally $5-$10 off as a reward for paying to beta test a product. All day 1 content should be included, no dlcs until after the launch. I hate what lmu is doing, but they're really a special case. The implosion of motorsport games has really left studio 397 in a lurch and reality is, if lmu fans want a finished product, they're going to have to be the 'white knight' investor if no one else steps in.
Hanging on LMU for charging is getting old. It’s cheap compared to Iracing. As for acevo my hype levels are low, love acc but id say most of the day 1 cars will be a snoozefest and no multiplayer….
Not really interested in free roam! Nail the physics, racing, sound, wet driving, and allow modding, and i'll pay anything. The ideal scenario would be a racing system like iracing with all the benefits of AC
@@Galip-px3lv ac1 is already ahead in terms of physics in some areas, and ac evo will have overhouled physics witch will put it above iracing, and its not just about physics because the Sims are always quite at a simular level, but everything else put ac evo way above everything else.

I just hope that they have workshop support when they add moding. Using 3rd party websites for mods like in ac is sketchy and not very professional
After Test Drive I trust no one and will wait a long time to see what is what before I spend money on this game!
i would pay 250 for the ultimate driving simulator
For me I will buy it in early access as price would be low at first as they say
I am been waiting for it for whole year here comes the trust kunos don’t break it !
if i buy the early access do i keep the game on the full launch?
Kunos looks to be doing the same release model that they did for AC and ACC. I will get it on the 16th, and I do hope the VR is good from day one, I lost interest in ACC because of the issues they did have with VR, and it's my only concern for the EA launch of EVO. Otherwise I am excited for it.
I will wait a year or 2 for the game developer to clean up all the bugs.
Reasons why to buy EVO in EA is support devs and have a discount compare to 1.0 version price. I gonna buy it and let is sit for let's say 6 months until you guys test it for me and more content will be released.
Bro can you test the game for me
@@Kireth No, I will let the players test it and then I will play it for less money.
WILL I GET THE FULL VERSION IF I BUY THE EARLY ACCESS VERSION
$39.99 for early access and every dlc will be $19.99 so about $500 when its all said and done.
edit: I'm like $250 into ams2 and 8/10 were bought on steam sales.
Bro that's like full price...
@@Kirethyea these companies don't care about us, there's too much hype for them not to cash in.
@@Kirethi just watched the end of your video, you basically said everything i just commented lol cheers
There wont be any paid dlc until 1.0 gets released, everything added in early access will be free, sometimes it just feel that some people have it very. Difficult to read.
@@andreasmoller9798 There is no way of you knowing this. Look at Le Mans Ultimate.
I'd rather buy early and lock in on the price (whatever it may be) before they increase again. LMU doubled it's EA price twice!
Wait how much is it now?
@Kireth it was 26 Singapore dollars when it was first released. Now it is 42!
i'll give it a go for the Linux on Steam. day one
and report back.
I think there will be a steam console in 2025.
Guys we've basically gotta wait another year until it's fully released! Until the it's practically a demo 😭
As much as we're trying not to believe this it's unfortunately the truth
Who cares, I'd pay $200 for the damn game. It's Asseto Corsa we are talking about!
Assrto Corsa EVO to be precise!
But can you race ai with your friends???
No - no multiplayer at Early Access launch
Do you guys think i can run it higher than 50fps with a i5-10400H and the RTX 3050Ti and 16gb ram? I’m scared i can’t. I want min 50fps to run it
No multilayer. 5 tracks 20 cars I'll give it a year 👍
If history is anything to go by.
Personally £40 for early access is OK. Any higher and they would have to show a lot more
So I wont get all the dlcs when its fully done?
It should be for free imho!
I see what you're doing 😅😅
@@Kireth Times are hard bro
Early access should be £10 think most would pay £90 for full release with free roam & optimised vr & a massive selection of cars and tracks they need to make all cars available in right & left hand drive for vr players nothing feels more gay than being in vr and shifting on the wrong side in a manual
Nothing is free in this world, you have to work for it and earn it.
Not paying anything more than $20 for EA
So TH-cam will be your all AC Evo experience 😁
@@viktorianas lol could also just wait and get a key online 😂😂
@@Mr_Nweke it will be $39-ish, I will pay it upfront for the game that will DEFINETELY be worth it in 1 year also will refund within 2 hours if it really sucks and VR is terrible for example.
@@viktorianasmakes sense but the truth is I mostly play FPS games so it’s not going to be worth that to me.
@@Mr_Nweke totally agree with you if sim racing not your main thing, I normally never pay more than $20 for FPS games...
1 year wait to get just 1.0? Very long wait. I’ll stick with AC Classic
can someone confirm for me if i buy evo in early Access do i get the full game for free
I don't care about the prize,will be mine🤤🤤🤤
So is PSVR2 confirmed?
how no billionaire likes sim racing? if i just had by now the money i totally would enter in this project, if this game have the amount of content that the competition have, track's and car's. they would be the game to go, the physic is not a problem for controller, a more realistic game for sure have a place since no game have this. and this game have the potential to be the end game... they have the physics's to put troffy trucks, rally, karting, monster truck's, Snow, mud etc... just need time, money, and the modders to put the company uniform.
Exactly how iracing happened bro
@Kireth i racing was developed just as a racing platform for enthusiast, the evo already have everything done, the platform of assetto corsa with all the mods already have the recipe proved to work, the job is basically to improve and put more content, as i said, expand the limit's of what we know, imagine a monster truck doing jumps in assetto, the public that would come to the game...
currently have $60 steamwallet and i buy it like only $30. sometime E-wallet in my country selling steam wallet with 50% discount. i will buy at early as long as the price under $60 😂
Probably will buy it on day one, but it will sit until they come out with real race cars and not the street car crap.
Early access It should be less than 40€. V1.0 around 60-70€ ?
So want vr for ps5 but pretty much guaranteed that’s not going to happen
70$
Early access for 30€ and full release 60€
It will probably be the same as all video game prices. LOL especially when everyone and their brother is talking about this game.
Hi will it be on PS4
Honestly 60 wouldn’t be terrible
Fall 2025 not 4th (April)25😢
A little expensive for PS five considering the amount of DLC’s they’re gonna bring out for extra money look at ACC
GTAV might have redefined console prices by then too
'Free roam' I'm here to sim race not drive through the country side. This sounds very arcade like to me.
Free roam doesn't really mean arcade most assetto corsa players mod in city maps, touges etc anyways so they probably want to have more console players to play and be able to come back just need to hope they don't f up the physics
10-15$ should be the maximum for early access launch
Nah you are delulu if you think it will be that cheap
@fullcircle6107 25$ ?
@@adityadivine2138 yeah mybe
15$ is insane lmao this isn't the 1970s
@jam_Svl ayy I'm saying including regional pricing. In my region games are 60-70 percent cheaper as compared to USA
The implosion of motorsport games has really left studio 397 in a lurch and reality is, if lmu fans want a finished product, they're going to have to be the 'white knight' investor if no one else steps in.
who cares for controller support a simulator should only be played on a steering wheel
I cant wait for console tbh
Hanging on LMU for charging is getting old. It’s cheap compared to Iracing. As for acevo my hype levels are low, love acc but id say most of the day 1 cars will be a snoozefest and no multiplayer….
Not really interested in free roam! Nail the physics, racing, sound, wet driving, and allow modding, and i'll pay anything. The ideal scenario would be a racing system like iracing with all the benefits of AC
If its not in vr2 then I'll stick with gt7
King iracing💪
No need other games
One subscription to rule them all
Could not care less about an overpriced iracing, ac evo all the way,
Ac evo will be the new king.
@andreasmoller9798 it will never be realistic like iracing,be sure
@@Galip-px3lv ac1 is already ahead in terms of physics in some areas, and ac evo will have overhouled physics witch will put it above iracing, and its not just about physics because the Sims are always quite at a simular level, but everything else put ac evo way above everything else.
@andreasmoller9798 ok braking? Quite terrible at assetto
Well over $300 for everything on ACC
Hoping early access for ACE will be cheaper than this with same content
how do you get $300? if you add the game and all the DLCs its $150 max
@ let’s see here you gotta remember everybody’s not in the USA
So see $55 for the game
$18 for Nurburgring 24H pack dlc
$24 for gt2 pack dlc
$17 for 2023 GT world challenge pack DLC
$23 for American track pack DLC
$15 challenger pack DLC
$26 GT four pack DLC
$12 2020 GT world challenge pack DLC
$20 for intercontinental GT pack DLC
$17 British GT pack DLC
I’m not including tax on any of that stuff
@@coreymorgenstern8065 well US is the most popular so i was kinda throwing in a guess since no country was mentioned. also my price tag was including tax so you might be in one of those countries that get ripped off like England
HEHEHEHEHEHEH 48 quid early access goes brrrrr (Thats how keys have been priced)
999.99 €
Could be
I'm really hoping for no more than $50 dollars. For what they are giving in the beginning it should be less than $40. I'm glad for the license part. I'm happy about the game, but the graphics, and sounds all have to be worth it.
€30 on steam sale 😅
20$❤
Ps5 ??
No anytime this year Lil bro😂
@rishenxb1s705 little?? Lol
Just buy everything!
Agreed: www.getfasteronline.com
Season pass 90 euros
Going to buy season pass. I'm planning to play this throughout the year.
How much is the season pass?
@Kireth oh they didn't announce it but I'm expecting it lol
