Really great video, Phil. I very much enjoyed watching it. You did an excellent job of explaining all of your steps down to the equipment and products in detail that's easy to understand.
Phil I really love watching your videos. I’ve been watching your videos for years. I follow a lot of your stuff in my detail jobs. Merry Christmas to you and wife and family ☃️🌲❄️
Hi Phil, I see every now and then you using Suds Lab products which you can get locally at Walmart….do you stand behind their products? I do have their wheel cleaner, just haven’t used it yet-but you are really the only professional I’ve seen use their products in videos -Are they worth buying? Especially for the affordable price and the fact that they’re easily attainable?
Hi. Oh yeah, the Sudslab products are pretty awesome. The owner is an actual detailer so he uses his products on a pro level. I still use many products that some don't consider "professional". if products are enjoyable to use and get results, I use them. 😎👍
Can i ask your opinion. For new businesses ( either mobile, shop, home based whatever) what is you suggestion to try as lead generators at first....( Because i suppose word of mouth comes after some time ..) . To try....? Website with services, FB business page, youtube chanell os some combo between those? To you have any suggestions for the long run?
Hi Starting a business can be tough, everyone has to figure out what works for them in their area. but maybe this can help. th-cam.com/video/rfk8K42EbT8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zEJu60wcXl3wa5-Y
What is the Black handheld sprayer you are using in this video? Is that the one from car supplies warehouse? Eitherway can you supply the link please? Also are you using a foam hand applicator or microfiber? can you provide a link for the handheld applicators and the Pipettes? Thanks again!
Hi. Unfortunately CSW doesn’t carry that electric pump sprayer anymore. But I found an equivalent. amzn.to/48v44yx Here are the other links also. I use a these blue microfiber applicators. ★ Blue microfiber applicators amzn.to/3SSFF08 ★ Pipettes amzn.to/3IaCR9B
@MirandaDetailing Thanks Phil. I wondering if this unit can take solventas or other low ph/high ph products. I tried to find the Dilution Ratio Calculator you used because I didn't see a link in that video . I looked it up online and the Play Store, but could not find it
So many of those pump sprayers say they are chemical revisit, but all of them over time break down, at least the tips and straws do. So if you use a potent chemical I would just rinse out the sprayer when I’m down. But I have had both the high ph hyper foam from Hybrid solutions and the rapid Decon in each of them and they still run perfectly without any cleaning out. So not bad I think. Also sorry I forgot to add that link to the DRC. It’s only on Apple Store right now. apps.apple.com/us/app/drc-detailing-calculator/id1642812471
@MirandaDetailing I wish they would put it out on android since there are so many users. Thanks again for taking the time to answer all of my questions. I can't say that for any of the other channels. Getting a response from some of the other channels take forever, or they don't respond at all. You're always on the ball, my friend!!!
Super clean is definitely stronger cleaning on the paint at 1:10. I use Super clean on initial details only now. I actually use Super Foam for pre washing on coated vehicles. I only need about .5 oz to 32oz in the foam cannon and can get about two vehicles with that.
Would a shampoo like Koche Chemie RS or Carpro Descale be effective for an engine bay soap? I don't have any high PH soaps but I have a few that are acidic
The insurance company only pays for the reapplication of panels repainted. Owner should have given detailer copy of the estimate to show what panels were refinished. Owner of the car would be responsible for anything beyind the damaged panels that were refinished
Ok. Thats fine and all. But still went above and beyond for this customer and recoated the entire vehicle again. Body shops usually will mess up the rest of the vehicle beyond just the repainted panels. Doesn’t matter what the insurance pays for or not. I take care of my customer and make sure everything is looking good again and recoated properly. I hate insurance companies.
@@MirandaDetailinga lot of people don’t understand that this type of mindset will bring more clients to you. As I say all the time if you’re just chasing money and you’re not in love with the process of what you’re doing & building you’re just running in circles chasing a bag. Well done 👊🏾
I liked the way you're describing your work without talking more than needed. Thank you for sharing.
Love the education side of your videos vs shock and awe of others
Thanks so much!
This job came out great and I like the tips with the windshield product!
Thanks man!

Hey Phil a rubber band around your detail brushes help stiffen them and it’s not permanent 😁
Great tip!! Thanks!

Hi Phil, how long did you wait after the repaint to coat the car?
Hi. It was about 2 months or so after it was repainted.

Hi Phil do you recommend another apc to use other than super clean? Can’t get that in Australia with paying like $100 a bottle off Amazon
Hi. What other APC’s can you get there?
@@MirandaDetailingpretty much everything. Ie DIY APC, 3.8 litre is $100 usd.
That would last a long time.
You can use pretty much much any alkaline APC. Just find what dilution works best for you. I usually start at 1:20 or 1:10 and see how it works.

How much do you feel the super clean apc pre wash works compared to super foam 1:10 as a pre wash in your findings?

@@MirandaDetailing awesome! .5 of the super foam to 32 oz Wow!! Thank for replying and keep up the great content!!
Thanks!
Hey brother what ratio is super clean when you pre spray to decon paint?
Hi. 1:10 seems to work really work. But you go even 1:20 depending on how thick you want it.
@@MirandaDetailing oh cool goona try that right now on this 3500 ram 💪
Would a shampoo like Koche Chemie RS or Carpro Descale be effective for an engine bay soap? I don't have any high PH soaps but I have a few that are acidic
Hi. I guess that can work. But you can just use an apc like super clean. That’s what we use.
Can you tell me and what do you use super clean on and can you shoot me a link?
Hi. We usually use Super Clean diluted 1:10 for our pre wash. Here’s a link amzn.to/3RqfT2C
No gloves when applying a ceramic coating?
I can’t wear gloves. My hands get contact dermatitis. I simply wash my hands often.
