Great video and series Eddie! Camera work, microphone volume and the music was just phenomenal! Thanks for taking the time to do all of this. Appreciate you! I definitely don't think a full decon wash was needed this early on and if it is, that's not a coating I want. Lol. ADS looks like a champ and that's not even their pro coating! Kronos and stoners are doing respectable and then there's cerakote.... well, it's not looking promising. I still have my 2 kits to install but I think I'll just throw them on my enclosed work trailer. Maybe do a couple test panels on it as well. I'm secretly hoping that all of you guys that are having sub par results with cerakote, ended up getting a bad batch. Kinda doubt it though. At this point, I don't even know what you could use to clean the thing. It seems like pH neutral soap is too strong already for it. If Descale did that to it, I wonder what a dedicated water spot remover would do... It would probably kill it completely! 😂 I'm thinking of doing DIY Detail 3 year, 8 year, 8+3 year stack, CQuartz Uk 3.0 and Cerakote on the trailer to see which one holds up best. Might even do half of it with the C6 adhesion promoting polish if I can get it by spring or maybe use Dr. Beasley's nano surface primer if i can't get the C6 version. Then I can see if the primer polishes actually work that much better than just bare paint. I have all of these coatings to install for other people and should have a bit of left overs to do the test hopefully. Other coatings I'd love to try are ADS Pro, CCI Advance, Apex BC 7 and of course the C6 coating (can't justify that one on the trailer even if I could get my hands on it. Lol). So many great options on the market now. It's a great time we live in for the detailing world! Merry Christmas to you and your family! God bless and take care. Thanks for your hard work!
My friend I would sell it as 1 year coatings and have your customer come back in 6 month and do a update wash and top it but if you think cost 4 cars 120’youkl make 3x that amount
@@Ecdetails I wish I could do that Eddie. Haha. Detailing is just a very passionate hobby for me. I'm not upset about the cerakote coating, I'm just not sure I want it install it and take a chance on my truck and my father in laws truck after seeing how it's holding up so far. It could go great, but I think I'm going to just put it on my construction trailer that I usually just install hydro2, wet coat essence or quick beads on a few times a year. I've had pretty decent luck with some other cerakote products and this coating should give a decent base layer on the trailer and a good way to test it for myself. Especially if I throw on some other products next to it. You can't beat the price of it at $41.40 a bottle. The DIY Detail 3 year is most likely a superior coating but it's also $72 on sale at the best price I've ever seen on it. If it fails, it doesn't really matter as it's just a trailer. If it holds up better than any coating I've ever seen, then that's awesome and I may never have to re- coat it again and I can just use a water activated product as a maintenance topper. I'm curious regardless and I'm not going to ask for a refund even if it fails. I've liked cerakote products in the past and this one is such a cost effective way for me to coat my trailer that I may not have ever coated if it wasn't for this price. So I'm stoked to put it on there in the spring and see how it holds up!
I need to get my hands on that Crystal wash in the spring because I really think it would help me out since 95% of my washes are outside then I'm going to use the Labo system as a coating maintenance 🙌🏼🤝🏼

I went through my diy quick beads, and bought some hydro2 lite and it wasn’t even close- diy blew it out of the water. Took me half a liter on a 2500 Chevy to correctly protect with hydro2, and quick beads is literally two sprays per panel or wheel.
@@RuhdiculusI’ll still use the hydro for wheels and front grill area where other things aren’t practical. On advice of a professional detailer I even applied hydro to wet paint with a microfiber towel and wiped each panel before rinsing. Both times in 2 weeks it was sheeting on the hood. I had some Griots 3 n 1 on hand and applied to the entire car. We will see how it holds up

@@Ecdetails there awesome coatings. Easy to install, I have one of there test coatings on my wife’s outback down here in SA Texas, it went 6 months before it needed a decon wash with a clay mit. Since you have a full on detail business I would recommend pro plus which is there professional grade coating.
I am disappointed with Cerakote, and seen the same results myself. I seen Pan's video and used his link to order it right away, and put it on my sons new truck. It was easy to use and felt so slick when it was put on, giving me high hopes. The bottom part of the truck doesn't bead anymore and it has only been a little over 2 weeks. Its almost like there isn't any hardener or what ever gives the coating strength, as even the next day the applicators never did harden. I Definity wouldn't recommend this to anyone as I have had cheap nano Bond ceramic coating on my truck and it puts Cerakote to shame. Thanks for the videos, awsome job.
Thanks for watching , I think if we all tamper our expectations maybe call it a 1 year then the results wouldn’t be horrid. What I don’t understand is how do we maintain the coating I personally in my business don’t top a coating unless it’s 6 months I expect coatings to last that long. My hope is cerakote reaches out and gives me some advice. Thanks again for watching!
Great question Reset is a ph neutral soap , that has the cleaning ability of a high ph soap so the cleaning capabilities is great inline with other high oh Descale ph of 6 made to hit limescale , minerals and clean the panel of those things
@@Ecdetails some teflon shit that has worked better for me than most coatings. The ease of application is unmatched. The Have a Pro Plus that haven’t used yet but it seems to be the bees knees.

Ads stuff is soo good
Do you think you should keep a separate sprayer just for the Crystal Wash? Instead of using the sprayer for other chemicals?
I do intend to just use that sprayer for crystal wash
I figured that would be the best thing to do. @@Ecdetails
Eddie is crystal wash safe to use on all surfaces? I thought I remembered Jamie saying not to use it on plastics but Im not for sure.
I used it on alll lower plastics of the Tesla didn’t see anything wrong ,it actually cleaned it real god
Happiest Holidays to you and your family Eddie 💚❤️💚❤️ ☃️
You too my friend be safe!

Maniac waterless wash is amazing it concentrated and does amazing cleaning
Yo bro what brand is your pressure washer wand gun thing? MTM killer?
Nah if snot haha it’s carbon collective got it for the color I think mtm , mosmatic is better
Maaaan. All i heard in Josh's video was a bunch of verbal gymnastics around clogged vs not clogged and what are expectations without ever telling us what to expect. In NYC, we call it bulllllshh- ... I'll be requesting my money back. I'll pour out the second bottle for the dead homies. ✌️
Bro your funny man 😂😂
I don’t think cherra cote can last in any condition 😳
💀
Have you tried the undrdog coatings?
I’m working with a guy now to trade up so I can test it , do
You like it ?
@@Ecdetails there awesome coatings. Easy to install, I have one of there test coatings on my wife’s outback down here in SA Texas, it went 6 months before it needed a decon wash with a clay mit. Since you have a full on detail business I would recommend pro plus which is there professional grade coating.
@@matthewneil6119 imma try it out
@@matthewneil6119 thanks for sharing
RIP "professional coating". Descale was too much for it lol
👀👀👀👀
@@EcdetailsEven Diamond Wheels 💩💎🛞 came back after Descale 3 months in.
@@chrisbradley3224ya not sure what’s happening
@@EcdetailsNo one does. That’s why they trying to give it away 😂
How does descale compare to reset?
Great question
Reset is a ph neutral soap , that has the cleaning ability of a high ph soap so the cleaning capabilities is great inline with other high oh
Descale ph of 6 made to hit limescale , minerals and clean the panel of those things
I love these “Pro” brands being exposed to Descale. I got Undrdog Pro going on for 3 years and Descale brings it back like spandex.
I’ll have to give undrdog a chance never used it - is it sio2 ? If not what type of coating is it ?
@@Ecdetails some teflon shit that has worked better for me than most coatings. The ease of application is unmatched. The Have a Pro Plus that haven’t used yet but it seems to be the bees knees.
@@Ecdetails I’ve used CQuartz and Cristal Serum, and neither stands to Undrdog Pro. The ease of application it’s just so damn easy. I’ve worked with waxes harder to apply than it.
I’m just an enthusiast though, I know customers get finicky when the word ceramic isn’t included in their coating.
ADS looked like its drop kicking the others.
It’s real strong
Why would a company claim they’re changing the game with releasing a dud like that. No wonder it’s only 60 bucks
In the UK 🇬🇧 it’s £99 , a rip off , man the advertiser and imjoshv are flogging a dead horse with cerakote ceramic 😂
I believe they were going for price , slickness , gloss etc is what I’m assuming
I never understood the hype from influencers with the cerakote ceramic… looks like crap to me .
👀✊🏿
Cerakote is shitting. You are doing it wrong. You should wash it with cerakote
👀💀
