What's going on Initiate, Bird here and in this video we are going over one of my favorite swordsman and bosses in all of Elden Ring, we have Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
Malenia, Blade of Miquella is a boss in Elden Ring. She is a Demigod and a Shardbearer who is encountered in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. She and her elder twin brother, Miquella of the Haligtree, are together known as the Twin Prodigies

I think Mesmer is definitely afflicted with the serpent so that’s gotta make him a child of radagon and marika
His hair is red so it was pretty obvious
I think his curse was more so the flame than the serpents, given the burn mark on his right hand where he conjures the flame suggests that he is not immune to his own flames
He was born before Radagon and Marika fused, as he is older than Radahn
@paragonluvz3740 that's the weird part about his lore because messmer has red hair and radagon had blond hair and would only have red hair after his conquest over the giants. That would mean that he would be younger than the children of rennalla but for some reason he is said to be older than them.

Personally, I believe that the reason why the twins were afflicted was the fact that they themselves were twins, not the fact that parents were radagon and marika.

Morgott and mohg were children to Godfrey but with dlc knowledge we now know that Marikas people were genocided by the people who worshipped the crucible and as she became a god and banished them all to a shadow realm, destined to be burnt forever by Messmers flame.
I believe its much more likely a parallel of incest why they were afflicted. Miquella being born "perfect" not changing in anyway while Malenia was imperfect and as such had room for the outer god of rot to inhabit her.
I felt like i was in skyrim....

It's interesting how the number 2 and 4 are lucky, while 3 is unlucky in the world of Elden Ring, because of the 2 and 3 fingers. However, twins are always cursed. It doesn't really make sense, I guess there must be something else

Took me two play throughs plus the dlc to figure out that miquella is a male
can someone explain to me in short, how marika and radagon are the same person? and who was her first husband?
game never explained us how Marika is Radagon it’s just a fact and first husband of marika was Godfrey who was also the first tarnished
it got to do with the hornset forcefully stuffing shamans and massacring (marika and her kind) into the jar so that one day they might become a saint. marika/radagon might be the result of that
So if Malenia served as the blade of Miquella and Miquella chose Radahn as his king consort why did Malenia go to war with Radahn?
I’ve seen a video (spoilers ahead ) discussing Miquella, I forgot who posted it but if you search up miquella lore it should be the first. Basically miquella wanted radahn to be his consort for his age of compassion. When he asked radahn he possibly (this is now hypothetical) declined, and thus Malenia had to kill radahn’s body in order to send his spirit to miquella, who used the body of mohg (after miquellesting him) to inhabit radahns spirit. The evidence behind this is that when malenia stabbed radahn and infected him with the rot, she whispered something along the lines of “go to miquella”
because radahn didn't honored the promise with the femboy, the femboy got mad and sicc his sister to kill him.

Who was that blind swordsman
Not much is known about the Blind Swordsman aside from 3 things
1. He was given the Flowing Sword by a dancing fairy to seal the god of rot
2. With the Flowing Sword he sealed the god of rot
3. He trained Malenia to fight blind
If you use the Flowing Sword’s charged heavy attacks, you’ll notice the attacks’ movements are very similar to Waterfowl Dance

the blindswordman might be the "warrior" class, they wore the same cloth shown in the talisman. and as you know the tarnished are exiled bunch who got revived by grace and called to the Lands between again. so its possible, formerly it is the warrior class

The way the community just accepts it but they fail to realize if it was such a common thing I dont think marika and radagon would've tried to have any kids if it was such a normality that they'd be fucked up

Radahn refused Miq the first time. That’s why he ordered Malenia to kill Radahn. Not cus of his great rune or anything. Radahn almost defeated her so she nuked everyone, including herself. Radahn still survived. When we kill him, Miq restores his dead body but without a soul. Radahn becomes a puppet to Miq unfortunately. No soul, no will of his own. Those Twins are horrible.
