Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show I'm your host Paul and this video we're breaking down Game Of Thrones A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms.
HBO Dropped their first look at the show in their upcoming series trailer and we know the show is coming next year. Throuhgout this video we're gonna break down the story and discuss who the main characters are.
Obviously heavy spoilers ahead so if you don't want it ruined then I recommend you turn off now.
The books quite a short one so we will be going through pretty much all the plot points which could ruin the entire story.

Now the series is gonna be based around the hedge knight work which comes in both book and comic book form. The first was originally released in 1998 with the latter being dropped in 2003. Marketed as a Game Of Thrones prequel Egg was mentioned by Aemon targaryen during the main series.
For this video we'll be primarily using images from the graphic novel cos that kind of adds context to whats going on.
So the first look begins with Ser Duncan The Tall aka The Hedge Knight.

Just to mention for spoiler stuff. It’s heavily implied that Duncan is the ancestor of Brianne however something to also add that the person he cheated with is another Targaryen. Aegon older sister in fact. Who was married to lord Tarth at the time. So Brienne is technically also a dragon seed but somewhat distant.

The knight practicing is surely Ser Arlan of Pennytree
The book opens after the death of Ser Arlan, I imagine the television series will give the audience one or two episodes of Duncan and Ser Arlan their first meeting, life as a hedgeknight before his death on the road to Ashford.

If Harry Lloyd doesn't cameo or even get cast as a full Targ character, I will riot. He took a story I already loved and made it my favorite piece of content ever with the audiobook. It's my touchstone that I'll never tire of listening to.

I really hope they go into the Blackfyre Rebellions, I haven’t read KOTSK yet still finishing FAB but I’d kill to see it
The story takes place in between the various rebellions but if they do the third book you'll see an aborted attempt to start a new one.
Loved all the hedge knight books
I'm very thankful for the subtitles being added to the channel's content. I don't know most of the character's names (from the Targaryen family history mostly) and their names are all so similar. On top of that, I can't quite make out all of the words you pronounce (damn brits!) so it's super helpful to be able to read the accurate subtitles (assuming your team entered them since they're not making up words that don't exist like auto-detect does). :D
Really excited for this. The Dunk and Egg novellas are so much fun. So will be great to see it on screen

I bet the old guy in the woods is Pennytree. Probably establishing the character, possibly how/why he took on Duncan. This may even be a flashback type thing as Dunk thinks about what to say at his graveside. It's such a weird far away shot, I can't help but think this is Duncan's first look at him, spying on him as he trains. Hey you asked, so that's my take :)

Duncan goes to winterfall canonically. And bran had a vision of a tall guy kissing a lady in winterfall, probably old nan.
Daeron wasnt horrible cause he eas kept from his mother ,it wasnt the red keep or kings landing.

I can't find the trailer on TH-cam. So I'm not sure what trailer you got this footage from. When you put knight of the seven kingdoms into the search bar you get analysis videos explaining the trailer and fake trailers but not official posts from HBO. So what's going on?
If nothing else, it will have a protagonist and a deuteragonist, so there will be more at stake for us to care than with a HOTD ensemble cast scenario.

5.38 - the old bearded figure I think is Ser Arlan. Looks too old to be anyone else, especially Targaryen wise. The only Targ to be bearded was Maekar. Who's already been cast in this and that's definitely not that actor

I would like to ask, who asked for this? Is there someone in the comments genuinely excited for this? As in “OMG can’t wait!”. There is Aegons Conquest, Maegor the Cruel reign, Jahaerys I reign, even The Mad King Arey’s reign is more interesting we could have seen the young Tywin Lannister and perhaps even Olenna Tyrell being randomly savage (I would rather watch a show about her than this).
