The sunglasses really help the fact that you are reading from a script just off camera. You hardly notice, very convincing!

Good video, I have the same Zinus elite platform. But, a little advice. When tightening the wingnuts, make sure they end up aligned to the metal platform, not sticking up, so as not to damage the mattress over time. All the best.
wait. So does it come as only 1 frame? Or two frames? Basically, can it be split into two? I want to get the queen (60inches) and split it up when i need to. Thanks.
I read on amazon the full size head board sticks out , if so, how do you fix that. I have a full size bed due to size of room.
And would a full size bed frame take any full-size headboard or does amazon sell one that fits...

It is hard to say without knowing your exact setup and how it all goes together, but there are holes on the side of the mounting brackets as well if you are able to use and access them to attach the side rails. Thanks for watching!

reading the description where it says other models that don't work brackets does that mean those models cannot have a headboard installed onto them ? I'm trying to do research for a bed frame I love the idea that the zinus are high and have a lot of space underneath however I like to use a box spring. If I get a zinus would I be able to install any headboard with the brackets that are available and again does It have to be a certain type of zinus bed frame to do so?
At the time of making the video, the 16 and 18 inch in height platforms did not support using brackets. Some of the main purposes of these platforms is to not use a box spring and give you more storage under your bed. Regarding the headboard, if you watch in the video where I installed it, you will see you just need a headboard that will line up with the brackets. Thanks for watching!
I'm wondering if it will fit within my wooden bed frame that is already attached to my headboard and footboard. My original wooden slats broke off the wood side rails, so for the past 6 months... my boxspring and mattress have been on the floor within my wood bed frame.
Murenne Philistin based on what I've read in the reviews of zinus smart base, it should fit inside the frame.
This is what is happening to me. I purchased this. It will arrive on Thurday. I think it will work.
Murenne Philistin I’m certain it will fit. My bed was completely set up and I decided to go with zinus and it was the best decision. I didn’t use their headboard attachments as the frame fit perfectly inside the frame.

the standard version is 74$ (queen sized) and the elite is 55$ more expensive...i'm not sure if standard will be sturdy enough..im 270 lbs 6'3"
I'd advise to just spend the money, it will last you longer
I was hoping you’d have sunglasses on in your profile picture.
How is the mattress holding up with this product? I ordered it ahead of time before I got my mattress in store. They told me to always aim for 3 inchs in between the slats to better protect and support the mattress. So I opted for box springs anyway. :/
It has been working great! With it being a grid pattern, it is super supportive.
Can you attach a headboard to the full size Elite SmartBase mattress foundation? If so, can you explain procedure step by step. What size (inches across) do I need for a full-size to make this work? I like the fact no box spring and holds over 1000 pounds so no breaking of frame, wooden slats or bending iron bed frame if a heavy person.
Hi. I show you at around 6:20 how to install a headboard. The headboard size should just match the foundation size.

Sorry, what I'm saying is that I show you how to attach it at 6 min 20 seconds into the video. Also, the headboard should have the ability to be mounted to the foundation by having a board that goes across like this one amzn.to/2EOGqlv or something that gives you some flexibility like this: amzn.to/2EMdkU4 . How much it sticks out on the sides depends on the headboard you choose.
why are you shades inside?
What did you use for the legs?
The legs are built into the metal foundation and fold down.
It's been 3 years, is it still holding up????? is there any squeaking after 3 years of wear?
We have not noticed any changes in performance at all. No squeaks. It has been great!
