Which would be *_very_* interesting if true
I would definitely love a full game like this. Maybe five or six huge worlds with 6 different gimmick bosses that awaken just like this game. They would be six worlds around a central tower. After powering up ruins in all six sectors it would restore the path up the tower. Then you climb as bowser follows. Then it’s a boss gauntlet to progress each floor to finally meet bowser at the top with all six gimmicks in hand

I love that bowser’s fury is giving so much new content. I absolutely loved playing it, I had pretty low expectations but I was blown away. It’s a great game, and it being bundled with 3D world makes it even better

Good point, this skips 20% of the game. That would mean a new "Bowser Amiibo" run could be made that skips these ten shines entirely.

@@finixmoon127 Amiibo% suggests the amount of time till you can use Amiibo. It would likely just be a seperate category for any% like minimum captures in Super Mario oddysey.

Bowser's Fury has more flaws than positives but the positives still outweigh the negatives.
The positives are just that positive.
No flaws other than it is kinda short

Numerous shines are just the same thing like get a key or get shadow Luigi or break Fury Blocks or find cats.
Can get laggy.
Coins are useless when you're maxed on power-ups.
Bowser Junior is not needed to beat the game.
There's no good co-op as Bowser Junior is very limited.
Some music is repeated.
There is no new obstacles they are all ported from Mario 3D World.
But the positives.
The level design.
The music.
Combining open world and linear platforming.
Fast travel is really fast.
Everything is a cat (I'm not a furry)
Bowser's boss fights are so epic.
Peach isn't just getting kidnapped.
Shines unlocked after beating the game for replay ability.
And more
Sadly, the fact that the cats turn evil during the storm means that 100% is not possible.

From my (not very intensive) research, I believe you are the first person to ever beat the game with 40 cat shines and the third to skip the fifth fight!
(In case you were wondering, I believe I was the first to skip this fight by using the method where you gather 50 cat shines before the fourth fight.)
Imagine if Bowser Jr turned against his father forever. What would happen?

Before anyone asks, no it is not possible to get 100% like this - the three kitten return cat shines are impossible because the kittens and mother cats turn hostile.
However, it IS possible to damage Bowser with the light from these cat shines because the transformation takes a second - deliver the last kitten in this window and you'll actually grab the cat shine at night.
I love how Bowser managed to block Mario with his face 😂
Now, you need to COMPLETE the game with Always-Bowser's Fury.
I wonder if it would be possible to mod the game so that Fury Bowser actually NEVER leaves, even after collecting the cat shines ? So that you would have to beat the whole game while Fury Bowser is chasing you down until you die ?

It would be impossible to 100% the game while fury bowser is out because the 3 cat shrines that involve bringing the cat to the mother requires it being done during the day. when fury bowser is out, the cats will attack you.

The first time I played it got to the point where bowser wouldn’t go away and I was forced to defeat him

Easy: keep the daytime to rainstorm
Hardcore: play the whole game while fury bower is awake
You can’t 100% the game though since, well, the demon kittens
Pro tip: use the Lucky Bell at Mount Magmeow so you dont take damage if you turn into the golden statue

They should have added an extra game mode after getting 100 shines where Bowser doesn't go away. That would have gone a long way to add difficulty and length to the game

Nico you didn’t discover that technique to beat the game with only forty shines, it’s actually a speedrun category: low%
And it's used in amiibo any% runs too (low% is the same only without amiibo)
@Compilation_Gumba you should really do bowser's fury speedruns to it's so fun and you know every trick and tech so you would be so good at it

You needed to get some lucky cat bells. The statue form protects you from his fire.

I would think the data mother shines are as you can not puck up the kittens? But any others also unobtainable?
