I remember when I was younger I tried throwing Jr at Bowser to see if there was an Easter egg where you could defeat Jr first before defeating Bowser. I’m surprised to find out that Jr just keeps kicking even though you see him get damaged after being thrown at Bowser, I would have thought there was more to it considering how difficult it is to land a hit.
How ironic that Bowser's own son is more resilient than Bowser himself (even in his giant form).😂

I never knew about the bowser Jr method until now. You learn something new every day.
This final bowser seems to be very flexible in methods of winning, although very time consuming.
I actually beat Bowser a few years ago with the Bob-ombs (on accident) and the Fire Flower (which was the actual goal), it's honestly a pretty cool challenge that is surprisingly tough.
imagine being a random goomba and in the distance you see mario throwing bowsers children at him for 5 minutes

The ice flower doesn't actually hurt anything in the games, it freezes things in ice blockes but everything breaks free eventually.

Freeze the bombs with the ice flower, and then throw them. That could also work

True, but technically that would be using the ice flower indirectly to hit Bowser directly with the Bob-omb. I'm pretty sure he was going for using each item individually and independently in order to defeat Bowser.

There's also the star mode from the WiiU mode where you can just click Bowser to death.

I tried doing it many times without using the clown car and I finally succeeded with the help of my cousin

You could try to use the ice power up to freeze the bombs and throw them on Bowser
This is also one of the main reasons as to why this one of my favorite Bowser fights, there are so many ways to battle Bowser, makes me hope that we'll get a New Super Mario Bros. 5.
