    Hello ! I need help I really hope you see this!! I have had eczema mostly all my life I'm a 14 year old female and my eczema has gotten better its not bad like when I was younger. When I was little my parents gave me a cream that i think may caused my skin discoloration. that happened over time of me getting older. It helped my itching. But my skin isn't the same in these spots the discoloration and just the texture in general is off Its a big insecurity I have. My eczema is just on my hands and wrist a bit and then the creases of my arms and back of my elbows. I'm very careful on what I use on my skin too. I am going to try and change my diet to see if it helps but I just don't know what to do about my discoloration. Please tell me if there is anything I can do to not have that anymore.

    How to reduce post chemical peel hyperpigmentation? Suggest some topical application products or ingredient to apply.

    • @kuromi8384
      @kuromi8384 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vitamin C serums help! You can also use "The Ordinary Peeling Solution" it's a chemical peel. Be careful though. Patch test it and don't use it if you have open wounds and only leave it on for 10 minutes. Also only use it once a week or once every 2 weeks. Follow all directions on bottle. On another note, the pigmentation will go away on it's own. It just takes a long time.

      No. You'll definitely need stuff from the store. Vitamin C and Peeling Solution by The Ordinary are great! Also wear sunscreen. The spots will fade with time and having them exposed to the sun makes them take longer to fade!

    are bha's e.g. paulas choice good to add into my skin care?

    • @nississy
      @nississy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can be if you have acne. Benzoyl peroxide, retinol and bha (salicylic acid) are great for acne. If the cause of hyperpigmentation is just the sun then wearing sunscreen will help and then add vitamin C, azelaic acid or retinol to speed up the healing process. All of these are my favorites but right now I'm in love with benzoyl peroxide, vitamin C and sunscreen. Just be careful though and start with using exfoliating products just twice a week. (Bha, retinol, benzoyl peroxide). It's easy to overdo it and get very dry fleaky skin as a result so not more than twice a week in the beginning even if packaging states otherwise. 🙂

      Sometimes it takes many different ingredients in rotation and it takes a long time. Consistency is important. HQ, retinoids, azelaic acid, tranaxemic acid, kojic acid, vitamin C (faded topical tube really helped me). Sunscreen as well. Using it all in conjunction and rotating them and protecting the moisture barrier too. Also eating certain supplements and orals
