This is definitely my all time favorite Mario party. Loved all the minigames (basketball in particular) and the day and night mechanics. Also liked the orb traps you could set. Countless hours of mine and my siblings lives doing 50 round games 😂

I'm surprised at your take on this game. It's pretty much the opposite of what I've seen - normally when I hear people talk about it, they're quick to jump on the day/night cycles. It really annoys some people, apparently. I love the consistency of Mario Party 6. It just feels like they really know what they're doing and everything has settled in now. Faire Square is my favorite board, it's hectic and makes me care more about coins than anything that came before it.
Hates new chance time because you press a despite that being how chance time goes in mostly every other game. Also says the day and night cycle barley has any effect but i guess he did not play the game because thats not true. I dont need to explain clockwork castle for why it makes great use of the day and night cycle. I will give him towering treetop, E. Gadds Garage and castaway bay. On snowflake lake Daytime you can only get one dice block meaning you are not likely to hit someone unless they are close. The middle is also open and can be used as a safe spot. During the night you can get 3 dice blocks and go far. The middle closes during the night forcing you into the outer ring where you are vulnerable unless you pay the thwomp. And as a nice bonus during the day you skate for coins but at night you steal them from others in a snowball fight. The last board which makes geat use of it is fair square during the day the star cost 20 and at night it can cost 5,10,30,40 coins. You need to decide if its better to wait or not. The top happening space changes. During the day you put coins up for one person to win but at night you put stars up which can allow someone to make a comeback or pull ahead. You also have the hat game that gives 1 star in day and 2 at night. The slots cost less and you get less in the day at night it costs more and you get more. He failed to notice these big changes in this video. Great video though. Just thought I would point out what I see that you don't. Don't get upset or butt hurt about this comment I am just saying why I disagree.
I noticed them, I just don't think they're all that amazing. Also, why would I be butt hurt? I don't upload my videos with the assumptions that everyone fully agrees with my sentiments lol.
Did i say butt hurt if i did i did not mean that. Oops. But yeah i agree that towering treetop egads garage and fair castway bay dont do a lot with it but i do think it is noticable with snowflake lake, fair square, and clockwork castle for the reasons i mentioned but great video keep it up.

Tbf you can say the same thing about most Mario Party games lol. I think all 4 GameCube games are fun. I just prefer 5 and 7 over 6, but not by a ton
