    This is like a dream mower, come true. If only it had a small vanguard with a tiny oil guard system ... that would be so sweet!!! But the bagging system is amazing on this machine. It fills my desire to replace the Honda(HRX217HXA) and not have to get a big, heavy, expensive 36” mower. Just got to wrap the truck in olive drab to match the trailer....🤔

    I just purchased this kit. I have a non caster model. The hole is already there from the factory on mine, which had me super confused when i was reading the drilling instructions. My kit came with one high lift blade, and came with the counterweight.
    I had a quikchute on it, but was tired of the piles along the back edge of it when i closed it and having to make an extra pass with it open to get rid of it. Then i considered the mulch kit. That too abolishes the point for the quikchute, and mulching means mowing more or you'll have fuzz on top of the grass all the time.
    I have a constant battle year round with leaves and my grass grows so fast i can hear it lol. So, i removed the quikchute, applied the bagger, and im more than happy. The yard looks like it been vacuumed and the amount of stuff you dump out, shows just how much crap is in your yard when you side discharge.
    My main question is though... the angled bezzel on the left hand side, that allows debris to fly out. As soon as i empty the bag, and start mowing, clippings are flying out of it. What is the purpose of that slot? I mean the bag is mesh, so it shouldn't be a "vent"....
    I have a 48" Ferris stand on, i removed the quikchute off of it the same day and put a GrassCatcher on it. Highly recommend it too.
    Now what to do with two Quikchutes that only made 4 trips around the yard each...

    • @HandyGuy2016
      @HandyGuy2016  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a vent hole. The mesh also lets air through, but as the bagger fills it needs more air flow.

    Looks like it works really well, at first I didn't think the bag held that much, but when you dumped it out, it looked like a decent amount. I still can't justify the almost $500.00 price tag. I'll use my honda hrx to bag when needed. Was the weight sold seperate? and if so how much? I'd like to keep the front planted more while going up my front hill.

      $485 seems about right for this level of metal fab, the hose is about $100+ ( just buying it wholesale) then the other stuff.. and the benifits.. and what you could charge on clean ups vs having to get a bigger machine... this seems like a dream answer to a lot of bottlenecks in cutting laws ( small) and having to collect up pine straw, leaves .. whatever .. sure you can do it in on your 21” Honda.. but this cuts at least 35% off that . And the hydro system is commercial grade... this mower is gonna be a super start

    How does it handle once the bag is full? Do you need counter weights or anything? I run twoToro Turfmasters because we do small properties but this machine looks a lot better suited for what we do. We also cut 99% Bermuda and they have a hard time even taking off 1/2 inch at a time. They bog down quite a bit.

      @@leegeorge3263 I have only had one issue with it. It doesn't do great on wet/damp grass/leaves, other than that it's great.

    The first oil change is quite a mess. No real good way to do it without oil going all over the place. Added the Drainzit drain tube with 20mm thread. Will be much more enjoyable next time around
