Awesome ! Just what I was looking for . Checked Ballard’s but they didn’t have anything available yet so glad to see the quick chute . Thank you for the great install video , much appreciated !
No time to do this yet but this has been on my mind. I knocked a hole in my uncle's siding a few months ago. I'm really pleased with the FW15. Thank You Bud 👊🏼🧔🇺🇸
Easy install, handle needs to be 12"longer. You know that pawl (tumbler) has two mounting holes. you can use the lower hole to hold the door open slightly higher.
On my 61 I put a bit of weld on the pawl to hold it open even further. I didn't want a windrow forming. The 52 is fine on the lower hole. Trial and error.
Bud, just installed the qwik chute on my fw 15. Notched out an angle iron to fit around those two shims, then welded them to the angle iron. Drilled the front hole and now the accelerator fits like a glove. I have one accelerator for the 32 and 36 and a second one for the 52 and 61. No leaf loader yet, swinging the bagger up and over the sides of the dump trailer. Maybe one day when I'm rich like you guys. Lol. Have a good Thanksgiving.
I don’t see how you keep your mower so clean 😂. Mine is filthy. Might wanna look into replacing your front end with the upgraded kit. My old spindles bent when I hit a crack on the curb.
Getting ready to buy the FW15. Is there an issue with the front end I should know about? It’s not clear to me which part of the front end you’re talking about. Thanks.
@@frankiefiveangels601 there was an issue with the old style front end. Ferris reinforced the front end on the new models. If you are getting a new mower it should have the upgraded front end.
Do you use mulching blades with the QuikChute to help process the clippings better with the door closed? I know the chute is only closed for a few seconds until you can discharge again but I didn't know if needed to change blades from the high lifts.
Are you still using and happy with this setup? Just purchased my FW15 a few days ago and looking for the best setup, I have watched most of your videos, but seems like if you go this route you can’t use anything else except the side catcher. All that said this still seems like the best option. Do you have any videos of you cutting with this installed?
Will you be trying out a side catch bagger? That seems like the way to go. Just curious how it would work hanging off the side of a smaller.mower. Would love to have your opinion. Hope to see it soon
I have an accelerator std catcher on my fw15 and a home made chute blocker. I catch as much as side discharge. Once customers see the look of a catcher they want it every time.
You have probably moved on from this mower now ? I just bought mine. How would you say it's gives the best cut . High lift blades with the chute block as needed OR Mulch everything with the wavy blades ? Thanks
You posted high lift blades as part number 5106420 And super high lift are 5108135 Which blade comes on the mower new ? I'm switching over to the chute blocker. I'm not impressed with the mulching on my mower
Yes they do. Might take some modification depending on the catcher you choose. I would recommend going with an aluminum catcher because the weight matters over time.
@@HandyGuy2016 does this mower meet all your standards? Cut, mulch handling? Do you feel it’s pretty powerful? I’m thinking very heavy towards one! Fully loaded with mulch kit what would the price be?
Also, mine is a Rackem brand not an accelerator. I went with Rackem because it was cheaper, but accelerator is what I would recommend because they are lighter weight.
@@HandyGuy2016 I already have the accelerator bagger for another machine as well as an extra mounting bracket. I am in the decision stage wether to go with the fw15 or the turfmaster. I am in Ontario Canada, and the price for the 2 machines are about the same. I will have to measure a number of gates before I decide. Do you think the fw15 is capable of going up a couple steps to get into backyards or is the back end to heavy to lift?
Just finished this, with your video's help, thanks! The fact that they make you drill holes through the deck is so retarded. This mower is already easily prone to rust I've noticed. They should've made the qwikchute have holes that already line up with the existing deck holes

Thanks for all the videos of the mower. This video may have just sealed the deal on getting a FW15 to replace a time master for gated backyards!
Very welcome, happy to help.
Awesome! I installed a chute blocker on my FW15 as well. Nice to be able to control clippings discharge when needed.
I think it is going to be a great addition 🙂
I use quickshute on all my machines, very impressed .

Love my FW15, the mulch kit works well. Can I use this for mulching as well? Can you suggest a side mount catcher?
The accelerator aluminum catcher is my recommendation.
For the 36 stand up. Were can I order the quick shot cover
Amazon or Qwickchute website
Thanks

Hi Bud
Do your baggers still fit over all your installed quick chutes?
Yes they do. Might take some modification depending on the catcher you choose. I would recommend going with an aluminum catcher because the weight matters over time.
@@HandyGuy2016 so the steel ones that are cheaper are heavier and more likely to rust?
Just heavier
Can you leave the quick chute up in the open position, and use the ferris bagger that comes with the mower at the same time?
Not the Factory bagger but a side mount catcher works.
@@HandyGuy2016 so I should just get the quick chute and accelerator or do you suggest something else. Skip the ferris mulch kit and bag
@@drewd6083 yes, quick chute and accelerator is perfect.

It will not, at least not without modification.

No it won't, the mulch kit is a different animal.
Does that have the same hydro system like the newer snowthrowers?
Don't know
Is this the latest model? 2022 may

What's the part number and or a Amazon number??
NQD-FW15 32" deck. Not selling on Amazon yet, but I found it on Arlington Power Equipment site.
Do you still have the baffle under the deck with this setup?
Negative
