There is a funny story. Guru Nanak was teching an alternate Faith (Sikhi) which annoyed Babur because it was not Islam. This was why he was imprisoned. Babur after a month, visited Guru Nanak in Jail to see how he is suffering and hoping to ask him to convert to Islam. But for his shock, All Prisoners even the Muslim Guards had stopped guarding the Jail and joined the other Prisoners to listen to Guru Nanak's Teachings.The Jail system itself was collapsing an it became a big problem. So Babur accepted thet Guru Nanak was better off let out than imprisoned and accepted that he was a Graet person and let him out.

Gurunank ji took a lot of inspiration from quaran, he himself read quaran and if you read sikh scriptures they are in line with islam. He was also against idol worshipping.
But his teachings also favoured hinduism to some extent and opposed both Islam and Hinduism in some aspects. Like in his story of reaching Mecca and sleeping pointing his leg toward Kaba, or his teaching against the sacrifice of animals, and even the concept of God which is totally different from that of Islam.

Remember that it is best to praise your own views without disrespecting someone else’s views. Buddha may have only travelled in Bihar that is true but that doesn’t make him and less worthy of respect than Guru Nanak. Most indian saints did not travel a lot, but Bodhidharma is an exception who have Zen to east Asia and the world. Bodhidharm was a Buddhist monk, who went to China and pioneered Zen.

There is a funny story. Guru Nanak was teching an alternate Faith (Sikhi) which annoyed Babur because it was not Islam. This was why he was imprisoned.
Babur after a month, visited Guru Nanak in Jail to see how he is suffering and hoping to ask him to convert to Islam.
But for his shock, All Prisoners even the Muslim Guards had stopped guarding the Jail and joined the other Prisoners to listen to Guru Nanak's Teachings.The Jail system itself was collapsing an it became a big problem.
So Babur accepted thet Guru Nanak was better off let out than imprisoned and accepted that he was a Graet person and let him out.

Bhai budhha did not just come to Bihar. And Budhha also came to the best school of that time. He came to Nalanda university. Budhha also went to china, Japan, Korea and manu more and also in Nalanda University, he taught people from other countries and then they went and taught others. But now parents are constantly making their children to learn non vedic studies in order to get job. Why we always end up comparing religions to each other, we can not take a cumulative efforts of all religions and all gurus?
Gurunank ji took a lot of inspiration from quaran, he himself read quaran and if you read sikh scriptures they are in line with islam. He was also against idol worshipping.
But his teachings also favoured hinduism to some extent and opposed both Islam and Hinduism in some aspects. Like in his story of reaching Mecca and sleeping pointing his leg toward Kaba, or his teaching against the sacrifice of animals, and even the concept of God which is totally different from that of Islam.
