+chandra sagaran You are right. This does not seem like the posters here are speaking from experience or true understanding that comes from sadhana for moksha. Reading something is not the same as "Brahma vritti" or deeper intellect.

+chandra sagaran I respect your opinion. However, I think we are ignoring the obvious fact that why he had to leave his body (if he ever made a personal choice). It says here he had health issues. Thus, this must be the obvious reason that he died. The video clip doesn't discuss about this obvious issue.

There are many enlightened yogis living in the present times... India is a land of yogis and punya bhoomi. But we are not conscious enough to recognize them.. We are busy running after fulfillment of our physical needs.

Very true, Swami in his last days told his followers that his soul getting bigger day by day and is uncontrollable and is going to leave his body soon. After some days he passed away. Doctors actually confirmed that death happened due to the blasting of nerve on the middle top of his skull. So if a person's soul leaves from bramharandhra achieves MOKSHA(liberation from cycle of birth and death).

First of here Swami Vivekananda never died. He lives to be with us as he absorbed himself to Infinite Conscious state. Death would mean organ failure, but he attained Maha Samadhi. The charge of Kundalini is too much to handle for the body as it will force out itself from Sahasrara. I don't know how many of you know but Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa used to leave his body as Jeeva Samadhi and return after few days. His disciples and family used to protect it till then. The lady is lovely in narration. Let us not ridicule her or demoralize her nice work of Sakthi. Hari OM!

    It was 3 years ago.
I had direct experience of the Brahman.
I lived Non-Existence, the Timeless, Spaceless state of NonDuality.
I saw the past, present, and future, the entirety of time, everywhere, from every point; the entirety of space.
    I saw my own death.
As well as my many other incarnations.
I saw all the immaterial worlds, their beginning, and their end.
In fact, I saw the entirety of existence, and the bliss was undescribable.
The bliss came from knowing everything.
In this state, I had no questions.
    Knew everything.
    _Understood everything._
    Felt nothing.
    Yet was still _happy._
But then, I realised that if I countinued in that state, my body wouldn't have been able to contain my existence. And so I came back...
It's impressive, the fact that something similar happened to Vivekananda, though he did not stop the process of course.
In this state, I saw that I will not be born ever again. I will attain Moksha / Nirvana in this lifetime.
I already saw in the future.
3 years ago, I was 17 years old when this happened.
I must admit, being in a much smaller mental state now... feels weird.
Feels weird *knowing* that you will cease to exist soon.
    Sorry for talking about myself.

This has been a question I wanted to ask to the principals of the Vedanta Society in America because, I knew about this fact but could not imagine what happened to him to leave his body so young. Excellent graphical explanation.....nice presentation. Your voice is so sweet that it is speaking of divine things, which makes it more sweeter. The order should be - Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa > Sri Vivekananda > Sri Aurobindo > Sri Ramana Maharshi for Sri Vivekananda guided Sri Aurobindo during his prison days into spiritual life. Sri Vivekananda trained Sister Nivedita who guided & helped Sri Aurobindo in reaching Pondicherry (French colony then) when Britishers were looking to imprison Sri Aurobindo.

    + Oskr Zapata
Hello Oskr, The one thing that I did not mention in this video is that highly advanced souls such as Lord Buddha and Swami Vivekananda, can exercise a choice - either stay immersed in Samadhi or come down from that state to help humanity forward.
Lord Buddha was one such person who choose to come down from this state of infinite consciousness, to the earth plane for this purpose. In the case of Swami Vivekananda his work on earth was done, so he chose to give up the body and stay immersed in the infinite consciousness.
I am making a new video about Samadhi, which will explain this point in further detail - to be released by early Feb. Do stop by to watch it then,
    Have a great new year!

    • @Antonythomas111
      @Antonythomas111 9 ปีที่แล้ว +8

Dev Dip In my view consciousness does not relate to the size of a creature, instead it deals with the senses, and as we humans are gifted with the sixth sense, the rationalizing power, we are placed in the top position among all other things in the earth, and the spiritual consciousness is different from material consciousness so we can't involve Einstein in this, as his consciousness is related to materials.
And it does not mean every highly spiritually evolved ones should die in younger age, otherwise they wish to do so. We have heard about people who are living for centuries and who can control their death.

Many people interpret this in many ways. Have you ever seen the movie Terminator: The judgment day! Just to be more funny, one of the cool scene in which Arnold or the cyborg demolishes his own body the end of the movie!
Do you know why? Its because the cyborg has accomplished the mission by saving John Conner and there is absolutely no reason for its existence afterwards!
Swami Vivekananda didn't existed to free his own soul, but to free the soul of many and also the whole world. After accomplishing his task given by Sri-Ramakrishna or you can say "true reason for his existence in this worldly life" he left his body to keep the ball rolling by his disciples.
    Just my thought :)

I have a question. after the human consciousness, when the solve evolves , can it be evolved into the alien soul which are more advanced than us? because i think this could be possible. And can this soul can move to another planets to find the different body which is not of earth. Please try to answer if you can. Thanks.

Raj Veeru - in answer to your comment - a good book to read about the questions you have in your mind is "Yoga Vasistha" by Swami Venkatesananda. In it he explains quite wonderfully how our soul is in reality the whole of the infinite God himself. But somehow this infinitude gets veiled from it (just as a candle flickers even for a moment) - and so the soul starts its struggle through the cycles of births and deaths to regain knowledge of its full self.

He died of Pneumonia . His final preparation to accept his own death was a phenomenal attitude. He wanted to clear his dues. He instructed his close disciple to return the money he took from a known person. As a monk he did not keep anything except his knowledge behind him. God alone knows why his journey on earth was cut short as a normal human being. We should accept the demise as normal. We should not attribute unknown theories to his soul. He called every citizen of the world as his brothers and sisters and projected himself as any other common human being.

So when some one experiences super con is it normal to feel your brain changing and become pissed for days? It was the most painful non-painful thing I have experienced. And now it's gone unless I concentrate really hard but still it's not completely what I experienced. I want more. A taste is not enough. How do I go further?

Rajashekher H ..... His Guru....Ramkrishna had said that Narendra will not live beyond 39. Bhagini Nivedita had asked him once if he knew who he was and he said yes. He also had told her his intention to leave body. He was a very superior soul who had to do certain Devine work. The work was to enlighten the world by Sanatan Dharma. He started the process and then he left.

I liked the video. Here are my views that I found reading Bhagwat Gita:
    1. In the ladder of consciousness, humans are at top, that is why you find them asking existential questions and that is why it is emphasized that a soul can attain moksha [super consciousness] only after attaining a human body.
    2. Plants are at the bottom because they can't even move, as compared to animals or micro-organisms.
    3. A souls traverses from state of lower consciousness to a higher consciousness until it reaches human body.
    4. Only humans are bound by the law of Karma that's why a lion killing a deer is not punishable. Due to this law of karma, soul inside human form can even be demoted to lower consciousness forms and then it has to start all over again.

To learn consciousness. If you live here like a animal which cycle is just survival reproduction n dying, you will be pull and push by the forces of life and be happy and in a while you will be said again.

Just happen to see this video in the list presented in front of me by the algorithmic way in youtube :)
Also read some comments (which I do not do generally) and would say only this - What made a person Swami Vivekanand was his way of life. He presented his knowledge only after attaining that stage and even just presented and never thought of directing or teaching something to somebody and almost all of us learned people are indulged in the practice of teaching something and feeling superior...

  • @Mac13587
    @Mac13587 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

Enlightened means one knows that He/She is part of a greater consciousness and that the material world is not the finality of existence. It is just the first stage. Brahma Gnyana is something else. Hitherto no one has ever realised it. Well, what is 'Brahma Gnyana?'. It would be knowledge of cause of creation and the soul and its finality!
An advanced Yogi can always cure his physical ailments by himself. Transform elements and life itself. Then why did Swami Vivekananda not do so? Can someone point out what was the contribution of such masters to humanity? Only moral lessons! Any idea or proof where these Enlightened souls are? Is there something they can do to help Humanity? Despite many great Souls passing through India, we are still a fragmented society of ill will and jealousy.
