Have you tried putting 17s on a toyota hilux (original is 18s) with tire size of 285/70r17 without changing the height of the truck?

Cannot fit..it will rub in inner fender..need at least 2 inch lift with few cutting to fit those size without rubbing anything

Here is my question . I will lift my outlander 40mm. My factory rim offset is 38mm. I want to install 0 offset rim. My current tire is 215 70 16. I will change it to 225 75 16. Do you think it will fit ?
