I'm a concealed carry instructor in Kentucky. I 100% despise gun snob's. I hear all the time folks downing others for carrying Highpoints. As long as you don't take them apart if you don't know how to take them apart, if you pull the trigger on a highpoint it's going to go boom when you expect them to go boom! If anyone ask me what to buy as their first budget gun. It's always SCCY, Highpoint, and Taurus in that order! I do a lot of work on other people gun. The absorbent best support I've got from a manufacturer have been first SCCY and a close 2nd is highpoint!!! I'm a big guy and I'd be the first to admit that sig' support is shit to SCCY and Highpoint!!! I've had several highpoint guns handed to me in a bag. I've yet to spend a dime to replace a part for one of their guns!
only thing i can really add here is that SCCY darn sure BETTER be good support with all the issues i have seen then have continually over the years, not my experience at all, obviously, with Hi Point. 😂🤣

What I consider a perfect gun for me will be completely wrong for someone else. I'm a advantage sized guy and prefer to carry a full sized gun. I almost always carry a Kimber pro carry 1911 or a Sig p226. With my build I have no issue with concealing either of them but some people aren't so lucky. A good number of my students are newer shooters and I absolutely wouldn't suggest they carry a 1911 or anything with a single action only trigger for that matter as a EDC!
you bet, but considering i have had my CF380 for like 20 years, heavily used, no issues and still running strong... there is likely at least a little bias here 🤣😂

eh, not really, maybe a little... would have to break down and measure it all but seens dimensions and weight are pretty close to the same overall, negligible differences
It definitely goes bang, and yes that’s a great thing, but so many other guns also go bang and are overwhelmingly more desirable. It’s not like someone would buy the high point if they were the same price.
oh come on now, you were so close to not hating on people and did it anyway. you don't know what they would do given that situation because you don't know their reasoning, all you can do is speculate based on your own preferences, experience, etc, right? 🤣😂
see this is unforunately a BIG problem in our community. sounds like you are trying to argue that priorites are NOT subjective. my priorities may indeed NOT be your priorites, right?
@@CloverTac it’s obviously fine to not share the same priorities. That’s what I’m doing :) (unless that’s an issue, then sorry). If ammo were a lot cheaper I could see saving on the handgun. If ammo is 99% of the cost, I just don’t chase that 1% net savings too hard if it lowers the whole experience.
It looks Ike the little extended barrel keeps the slide way cleaner. U can see the tip of the original turning dark with carbon but not for the yeeter 👍
i have plenty of cameras, problem is, in order to do split screen, it makes everything smaller plus hard to talk about the groups and such while shooting anyway. that said, you have given me an idea of something i COULD try
perspective i guess. obviously i own many, run the heck out of them and never have issues. that seems to be a common thing i have noticed for literally decades now. gun companies make thousands and thousands, so it is possible i am just seeing the good... but somehow i doubt that. either way, person spending the money gotta make their call right? some people refuse to buy Sig, Glock, CZ, whatever 🤣😂

Agree, I feel the same way about caliber snobs.
As a skinny guy I dont know how you could possibly recomend a hipoint for conceal carry where am I supposed to hide a cinder block on my body?😂

Was looking for a video of someone shooting the YC380 and giving an honest opinion (away from gun show reps). Thank you for sharing brother!

"Useful is as useful does!" Hi-Point.
Excellent review and shooting sir.

Thing Meister Fabrication makes custom wooden grips for all models of Hi-Points. It makes the gun look and feel so much better.

hmm, that does make sense
YEET! Nice review. We need to get you a second camera for the targets.

Is the YC slide shorter??
eh overall dimensions and weight are a little different but i would sya negligible
Did they cut any weight down on the new yeet
nothing really significant enough to really matter in my opinion but the slide design does take a little off, yeah
Still can't get myself to buy a Hi-Point. Saw too many fail.
