      I have a love/hate relationship with my phone, but then I am 30 years older than you, and at this stage of life there are more important things in early am - like Coffee!

    I developed a very bad habit of rolling over in bed in the morning and grabbing my phone and scrolling immediately. My husband noticed and suggested i try and not touch it for at least 10 mins. Ie. Get up, go get coffee, read devotional and then pick it up. In just a couple days that anxious desire of grabbing it first thing is dissipating and i actually feel less anxious/stressed. Im trying to extend that time every morning and also putting my phone down when engaging in conversations/when bored. Love this.

      One ting that helped me is to put the phone on plane mode at night and only turn it off when I leave my house

    Yes, these are game changer tips coming from 40’s lady here! If I’m feeling at all “off” I check into my habits and if any of them need refined I’ll do just that and you know what it’s usually that! You got me hooked on Daily Harvest 2 years ago and to this day I have a DH item plus weekly shipments! Love it

    I am the worst with getting on my phone in the morning, but that is definitely going to change soon. You hit the nail on the head when you said that it changes your day when you are more intentional. As I am going through my autumn thoughts, I am checking off things in my head that are going to reset my surroundings for the season. I have created a little checklist for myself of things that I want to get done so I can reset and prepare for the upcoming season. Some of the things are so simple but much needed. I have let my life of being a new mama take over, and it's time for me to reset and refocus! Thank you for always sharing and always being so encouraging!!

    I have trouble with picking up my phone in the morning too. It's certainly been a hard habit to kick! 😭 I'm loving the journal prompts and the calendar--definitely helps with accountability and just keeping track!

    I love your channel and authenticity!! I agree with you! I feel sooooo much better when I get up and put makeup on too and get dressed even though I work from home and take care of my baby girl.     I have Thyroid issues. I had to go through a really scary surgery. Unfortuentely for me I have thyroid cancer. I find out more results on it on Monday. GIves me comfort to know that I am not alone. Keeping staying strong.

    Since you brought up brushing with the electric toothbrush, you are not supposed to brush it back-and-forth like you’re doing… I struggle with this as well, so I totally get it!

    Don’t know full recipe but Looks like she boiled a little water with sliced open dates then drained the water into container, added coconut milk(with fat), pure pumpkin purée( not pie filling), scoop of miss congeniality, and some cinnamon/or pumpkin spice. I’m going to try this out looks good and healthier option.

    It blows my mind that there indeed are adult people who don't brush teeth in the morning and don't make their bed.. like is that something that should even be mentioned as a morning routine? It should be a regular thing.
