@@Mikesworld777 not a bad idea. I should’ve done that rather than spending $500 on a billet one from GDP. But it works great doesn’t leak a drop, and it came with a block off plate for the side of the block where the oil drains back. Should’ve came blocked off from cummins already in my opinion. Guess they couldn’t figure out what else to put there since there’s not a mechanical fuel pump anymore. 🤷🏻♂️
Twice you called this a high mileage truck but then you say it has 20,000 miles on it. I love watching a good mechanic work, I can’t do it but it’s like watching a craftsman
I like your knowledge of the 6.7 and the upgrade parts. But why do you guys not offer installation and your services on the product you advertise on here?? I would definitely trust you guys to do my trucks. And I’m close to you
Couple of reasons: 1) Scaling that business model wasn't easy. We decided to put our time and effort into growing the portions of the business we could move the quickest. 2) When we made that decision we were starting to grow our wholesale business. We decided it would be better to refer customers to our wholesale network rather than to try and keep that portion of the business ourselves.
Question, I need to replace injector #1, and I'm only doing number 1. Can I take the exhaust rocker off without touching the adjustment and replace the injector and rocker without "adjusting" the valve lash? And I heard something about adjusting trim codes with a computer, is this something I have to do as well? I have a 2018 6.7 ...
Yes, you can replace the injector without affecting the lash. When you remove the rocker bolt, the lash “shouldn’t” change, but its always good to check the measurement. Yes, when you install a 6.7 injector, you will need to program the trim codes so that the truck runs correctly.
What type of injectors are you using? A quality, name brand or OE injector you should have no problem installing. Light lubrication of the oring and make sure that your bore is clean and ready to accept the injector, you shouldn’t be having any problems.
@@thoroughbreddieselBore is clean, injector is clean and lubed up with assembly lube (even added extra) STILL a pain in the butt to get it popped in. These are Delphi. Box says EX631103-11B1 They’re stock Remans…. I’m concerned here and sweating this install and I think something isn’t right. I got the first 3 in. When they finally clicked in I was able to rotate them to wiggle the feed tube. Any pointers here because I’m seriously concerned. I even used the injector puller, put the nut on top so I could apply pressure downwards to the injector. Worked on the first 3 but not so well on the 4th.
Yes, we are in the process of doing a valve lash video but do not have it yet. Stay tuned. It is a involved process, please do not attempt without a manual or guidance.

I’m glad mine doesn’t have all those extra parts to get in the way.
@@Mikesworld777 same here. Mines nice and empty, not even a crank case filter. 😂
@ that’s next on mine. Just gonna do the marine valve cover All the thread inserts pulled out of my stock one

Good informative video. I haven’t had to do this yet on mine 875,000 miles and still going strong! 😂

Are these recommended for the 13-18 running a fleece cheetah turbo, stock cp3 and a fass lift pump? Do these come with feed tubes?
Very informative video. Thank you very much!!👍
You are welcome!
Hello quick question about the
Fuel removal tool What’s the part number again ?
The feed tube removal tool is Snap On CJ49.

Have you guys made the valve lash video yet? I have to tear mine apart because I have fuel dilution in my crankcase.
We have in a really early video but we are slated to do an updated one.
So vale adjusting just a torque on the rocket arm.
How was it removing and installing the last injector in the back?
It's not bad at all. Just make sure that you get the wiring harness laid over the lifting eyelet and it's not problem.
My injectors won’t go back in. They’re TIGHT!!! What do I do here?

@@thoroughbreddiesel I bought stock remans from Rock Auto…. Is that bad? Lol

You haven’t wanted to because all the junk you have to deal with to change injectors . Ha Wade .
What makes a person need to do this job? I have 137,000 on mine and never thought about this.
This was a chosen performance upgrade. But, injector issues (diagnosed) would require this to be done.
