hey Chris, are you the voice of a simplisafe commercial? i found it on youtube and the voice is like yours. or am i wrong?
bro please submit your setup to setup wars, no doubt you'll get a seal of approval 🔥🔥
the best setup i will ever see
I love watching stuff i cant afford
Too true
Especially the machinery
😂
But you can afford it. Prioritize spending. You don’t need alcohol you don’t need Starbucks. You don’t need that new tv or car. Save and invest, play the long game and maybe don’t be so negative. What you put out there comes back to you. You think you can’t afford it? You never will. Believe you can achieve and you will get there. Just takes time and hard work.
It's not that expensive if you could do all this DIY hardwork, Have done this strip lights business in India, my channel would show you that,
But sadly, here people prefer cheaper price over quality and tech support, so I've almost moved away from this stuff now 🤩🤩
You’ve gone to a new level with this desk. Every component is slicker than the last and really has a sci-fi look.
~
After browsing through your channel, I can tell that you have a really aesthetic lifestyle. Everything I see you do has such perfectionism; I'm jealous but at the same time inspired to try these projects but add my own uniqueness to it.
I did the same, but I put the base under the table, the pipe came out of the table and it was cleaner th-cam.com/video/2XOHSBmO4Lk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=59gtvFlZ6Ei_VUIx&t=459
I just stumbled upon your channel recently, and I love all the diy projects you have done, especially all the ones that include smart lighting. I will definitely going back to watch some older videos, I want to make some renovations and these videos have been very helpful.
sooo clean! great job , the setup looks amazing.
You inspired me to do something like this when i build my first setup. Thanks Chis for the inspiration ❤
BRO THOSE SPEAKER STANDS GOT ME GOING CRAAAZYYYY! TRUE TO LIFE KING OF LEDs!!!!!
And again an outstanding video ❤ great work!
Chris you are the man responsible for my RGB addiction. I’m planning a office renovation in the next couple of months and your videos will come to great use! :)
Man your build is on another level, awesome video!
Very cool setup!! Thanks for the inspiration.
That looks so CLEAN. The ingenuity to make the set up your own is something else, and inspiring to watch. Very well done
Agreed
Great video, I love your setup, it’s just so pretty! You used RGB lights (more fps) but made them look so clean!
I Love this all white setup (especially knowing it DIY). This thing is packed with so much inspiration. Love seeing the evolution overtime. Can't wait to see what you come up with next. Great addition👍
Another fantastic project video, Chris. Awesome work. 👏
Looks smooth !
Great work Chris! Appreciate the mention in the Description!💯
Chris making everything look so easy, and with his calm voice makes me think I can do all this.
I‘d recommend to leave the ground wire a little longer, so that if something pulls on the wire ground stays connected the longest. Also, maybe use a zip tie (not optimal, but better than nothing) as strain relief.
Apart from that your setup looks pretty much perfect to me,
Actually this might be life saving comment..
Thx for the tutorial Chris, i did it too wit the help of your videos, came out great 😁🍻
Damn that set up is super clean! Nice job
Your build is simply pleasing to the eyes ❤
love the vids man!!!
Ingenious - why has no one done this before!! = the speaker stands look 🔥🔥I hope you do not mind if I steal your idea for my set up = will make my setup look so much better, Thanks for the videos Chris they have given an Old Man new inspiration to continue working on his setups..... thanks again M8.
Dude. This is awesome! Just a quick note, I'd spray your light arm white and also wrap the screen and the light bezel in a white vinyl wrap too just to clean the look. Apart from that this setup is incredible 👏🏻
Awesome!
beast setup!
This looks fabulous mate🤩
W-O-W, it gets even more awesome and mind blowing.
For the bolt/washer/nut attachment on the 3/4" baseplate to the desk surface, I'd recommend swapping the regular nut to a nylock to prevent vibrations from the speaker loosening the nut(split lock washer could also be used but is overkill in this case).
This is such a kick ass set up! Excellent work.
amazing as usual
I'd be very careful using a ring while working with ANY piece of equipment, esplecially ratating discs with teeth that like to catch on to things. If you aren't already (i'm new to your channel, hello!) I'd recommend getting a rubber ring to wear around your finger while working with equipment so your S/O isn't heartbroken by you (potentially) losing a finger or hand. Don't think it cant happen to you, JUST because you're cutting wood, too, as I've got an uncle with the proof from working on my derby cart for scouts; He lost 3 of his fingers on the tablesaw, and could've gotten away with stitches if he wasn't wearing his ring.
Edit: Also, pro-tip: use painters tape over where you're drilling holes in your desk for much less mess.
Thank you Chris.
Paint that light arm and monitor sides to white as well. XD Good job man. Set up so cool.
Such a well thought out project. Curious if you hookedup a subwoofer to your new speakers? If so, which one did you use?
Beautiful. ❤
Thank you.
Hey Chris. I just want to express how much i appreciate the content you have put out here. I have learned so much from you. I was wondering ... There is a 3d map from enjoythewood that is pretty cool. I was wondering how you could approach putting led lights on a map like that for a wall?
You are a LED God!
Bro it is Damm perfect
the attention to detail you have is crazy!! looks amazing, great work.
That looks stunning at the end. Congrats on a great job!
Do you have any videos about the hexagonal LEDs on the wall behind the desk? Did you create these yourself too, or are they an off-the-shelf product? I'm looking to create something similar in my home office so would greatly appreciate learning how you achieved your design.
Awesome!
Do you mind adding a link to that AntiVibration white mat you used?
Fantastic! I Love your creativity! I create what I can too, but your Kung Fu is on a whole other level. Im like Hong Kong Phooey and youre like Neo lol
I'd paint the monitor stand and skin the monitor border white. Such a beautiful setup
Ive seen so many setups and I gotta say that this is one of the best ive seen, right up there easily competing with the likes of tech tesseract and others. I'm currently working on my own (mostly white) setup and this is very inspiring! I'm currently at a phase where ive got to produce the table top for my sit/stand desk (i ordered the legs only) but the demensions I need for the top are 96"x 36" (quite big). My main issue is i cant find any slabs locally that have the depth (the deepest i can find at places like home depot are 25"). If i do find a butcherblock or wood slab in the size i want on etsy im lookin at spending like $1700 which i def cant do. Do you have any advice or can point me towards resources that'll help me diy this bad boy without breaking the bank?
Just saw this video and read your comment. My current sit/stand desk is topped by a core door. It's got the width you want but maybe not the length. I mostly use it as an electronics workbench I can put my laptop on. It may not be strong enough for your use because it is hollow and isn't meant to be used horizontally but you might be able to find a door that works for your needs. Hope this helps.
CLEAN
This setup is getting out of control... in the best way possible. All around amazing job!
This is gorgeous! What an awesome job!
NOW GO ON SETUP WARS!! :D
Loving the look! And a detailed how to as usual. Props..! One tip on the power cord though, you can order these power connectors separate. Just cut the original one off, and screw on the new one This way you wouldn't need the box with wago's. But great video as always Chris, keep it up.
Can you link to what you're talking about? This sounds like it'd be helpful, but I'm having a hard time picturing it?
@Dcheck Tried to link it, but the reply got removed. Search for "c13 connector" and I think you will understand what I mean. It's just the plug with screw on terminals. They shouldn't be expensive. Found one for under €2,-
Awesome Setup!!! Great job. I have the PC, I'm working on a new office!!! Cheers!!!
Cool ass setup, have you thought of getting a monitor lightbar for your monitor?
I love your setup but I think you should add some light on your shelf underneath each shelf but I personally love your idea and setup
The title totally undersold this video!
Another great video. Love the walk through. Do you have a link to the wallpaper at 15:13?
First, love it ❤.
Second, I was like sweet. I'll check out the speakers $859 😂 nahhh I'm good.
this is so cool! I wonder if it would affect how the lighting looks if you routed a small channel on the top of the acrylic plate to the center hole so you could run the LED wires through the pipe without having them come out the back first
Thats actually smart. I blame you for having the same question now hahahah
very nice setup, i really like those speakers.
Beautiful job, Chris!
Looks great!
That spider at 2:01 had a lucky escape! 😀
Best desk period!
did you glue the wood led holder onto the acrylic or does it fit snug enough to stay
Really nice Chris! Beautiful!
the most impressive part for me is when I saw you used waygos instead of wire nuts or connector block, top job!
Chris, you’re insane man. Your setup and assembling process is top tier. Easily top 3 setups in my book. 💯
Man, you are so handy and creative! Love it!
Nicely done Chris.. incredible room too..
where did you put the sub woofer? Great job, inspired.
Genius
Are u using signal rgb or what kind of software for your pc ?
Hey Chris how did you add multiple strips to the same esp32 board? How do you configure in wled? Can you control each individually?
I'm not Chris, but if you get an ESP WROOM 32 board, they have MANY "D"(ata) pins on them, D2, D4, D17-19, etc etc. There's 10 of them. You can connect different strip's data lines to different D ports on the board with some breadboard jumper wires (20 gauge is fine). If the data line is long and the lights flicker or don't work right you can add a small .5Watt high ohm (like 470ohms) resistor to the beginning of the data wire where it plugs into the WAGO connector by the data jumper wire to the ESP board. The power gets a little more tricky as you will need to either run multiple lines parallel or use higher gauge wire. WAGO connectors can be used to split the power amongst the LED strips when running from the power supply to the same place. Chris has a video about running multiple LED strips on WLED
Beautifully done!
That is very impressive and inspiring work you've done! 💪
Unbelievable how nice and clean your setup is. Well done! 😊
Hey Chris, love what you do and it has inspired me to start my own projects. I'm having an issue with the ESP32 BOARDS. I ha e used 7 of them and 4 out of the seven have lost wifi and are now useless. Is there a way to fix this? I purchased the same one you have from your link so not sure if it's a brand issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for all that you do
Nice speakers, I personally went with the Klipsch speakers due to the sound they have is just something else. (probably gonna paint them)
Woww
So clean👌
man i love your setup so much bro i tried dis and my whole setup fell apart i guess u are BUILT DIFFERENT
huge attention to detail, well done mate.
Boy that spider at 2:00 had some interesting decision making
A very clean set up, I would never go with all white. I prefer all black, but this is clean. Strong work sir!
good job man, this looks so good, clean and beautifl, what is the name of these wallpapers, i have walpapper engine
nice,,
that spray painting was hysterical.
put it on setup wars mane
Those speakers are WAY too pricey for me but boy do they look great. I might have to try a similar setup with my own speakers.
Great video I was wondering what model is that white razer keyboard?
Hello, amazed by the speaker stands that you built and your channel overall!
The reason I'm reaching out is because I'm wondering if you have the time to send me the pipe measurements I will need to get the exact same speaker stands that you made, also what size did you cut the acrylic sheet to?
King Regards from Sweden
Hello Chris
I would like to know what grit you use for the sandpaper for the plexiglass?
Thank you very much for all the videos you provide on your channel it helps me a lot to build my gaming room.
Sorry in advance for the translation I am French!!!😄😄😄
You mentioned you connected the LED strips to one of the 4 chips you already have for your desk and used another pin out. Did you use 2 pin outs (one for each speaker)? Also, did you just create WLED segments for each speaker as well or are they all part of one?
Hi😊thumps up for your videos. I love your headset stand, do you have a link for that ?
Daaamn!❤
the things I would do for a setup like this
Best to build it up a little at a time.
Very nice!
The setup is so good but you have to paint the black things!! They stand out too much. Skin the monitor with white peel and stick and spray paint the streamer light or just take it out completely! It’s so good tho!
This is sick! Very creative and resourceful. Can you drop a link for your B-roll music?
