@@LearningREADefined True leader can boost team "Morale" as I heard that word from this video I pause. And think about some past time, person who I work with, acquainted, from work or just know people etc,. I conclude that there is no true leader in this world, even you say best of the best leader or person who ever live. As I think the phrase from this video "Boost Morale". The only I can say that truely boost morale is the words from the Bible. Especially Psalms, Proverbs and some more. I mean all books from Bible has a words that can give hope. That means the only one true, legit, immortal, limitless, no impossible for him, and the only authorize is "God" from the word, "Boost Morale" Bible had it all. But in this world, there is no true leader, most are just insisting there self to be, but the truth, we are only humans, not qualified for this term "Leader" all I can say humans are manipulator not leader, only God is qualified for this rank, posession, humans, is just a piece of insects, if you can view it above from an immesurable universe/kingdom of the real deal Leader. All I can say to people/humans, trying to be, "I'm tired of being what you want me to be, feeling so faithless, put under the pressure of walking in your shoes. Stop acting like we are part of your properties. I hope tomorrow will be the Armaggedon day. To settle this worst planet.

As a Boy Scout, I’m the leader of my troop of 30, I’m not the best leader but one thing I’ve learned is to eat last. This means to put the group first and make sure everyone has what they need before you get what you need or want. Another tip is to know when to have fun and when to work, by this I mean to play games or fool around when no work has to be done and to work when needed

Not just about talking though. Not a big fan of the manifest people like the comment above me. It's fine to say it and you should, but it won't manifest unless you do the work. You need to do the work, that will give you your confidence you need. I can tell you right now, I started a construction company 12 years ago and I'm 36 so I don't know everything but you will have doubts and obstacles. When shit hits the fan if your confidence is not based on nothing but words, you going to break. Your still young and that's awesome. Take big calculated risk, if your not failing, your not shooting high enough. Run towards failure, don't be scared. That's the biggest thing I ever learned. Most people play it safe and talk about making more money or starting a business. That's all talk. You will never get anywhere playing it on the safe side. They do it because they might fail. I actually attempt to fail. I put myself in positions that are high risk, high reward. The cost of success is failure so I try to find it. I bust my ass, I believe I will solve any problems as they happen, I do the damn work most importantly. I study, I practice, whatever. I'm always improving every day but it's about the work. When I fail, I learn, then move forward. Don't play it safe, don't just believe in yourself. You do the work and give yourself the reason to believe. Hopefully everything is working out for you. I like guys like you.

*Rule with a soft hand and a hidden fist*
Be kind, caring, respectful, flexible, receptive to new ideas and lenient on mistakes; but when your authority is challenged, be gracefully ruthless.

Caring about people? Absolutely not. Nice guys finish last. You need to be able to "show" that you care but actually can't. Emotions should never be part of the equation when making a decision. When you can, you make people think you care because it's good for production. Happy employees are more productive. Nice guys finish last in business and if your running your company caring about others, your losing

What I got from the video:
    1)radiate positive energy
2)Focus entirely on solution/ solving the problem. Not complain
3)delegating tasks (take on most important task and giving out tasks to others)
4)approachable. takes feed back from all levels of organization.
5)great leaders set an example. (work 100+ hours a week, efficient and effective, smart, hard working, powerful network)
6)Accountable - Hold others to there integrity.
7)Decisive - make good decisions quickly in tough situations and follow through.

Leadership is all about navigating the ship when the waves come crashing in and making people believe in your vision and direction, but it's all about holding onto that wheel. Now how you choose to steer is up to you. You can't expect people to be motivated for you...that's their responsibility not yours. Good leaders recognize the motivation comes from them, and the people will follow.
Because if "they" aren't motivated, 99% of the time it's because they don't believe in you or what you're doing. But belief in yourself will nearly always carry you through.

I’ve been a leader at my job for 3 years now . I looked up this video to see what I needed to be a great leader .
My supervisors tell me all the time that many workers want to work with me . They say probably because my crew doesn’t work hard .
Nooo it’s because I work harder than anyone else and I set an example.
Thanks to this video I come up with the conclusion that I was born a leader 👍🏼

They Have a proactive attitude: Rather than focusing on blaming a person or finding the reason of a specific problem they try to find a better a quick solution for the problem.
    2:23:-
Delegating the task means saving your valuable time and enforcing trust on teammates
3:49:-Leader must be approachable and should be able to listen to a problem " A non productive work environment is one where employees are discouraged to speak up fearing the loss of their job."
    Great leaders encourage feedback
Great leaders set an example and as a result gains the respect of his/her entire team.
    They are accountable:-
They are decisive in the decisions they take also the decision that they take stem from confidence and information
Your Job as a leader isn't always to make the right decision but it's to make a decision.

This is actually good advice, not like "stand tall and straight", like anyone can pretend to look confident but be scared to death in their head. Like Em said "His palms are sweaty, but on the surface he looks calm and ready." It is all about mindset. Your mindset will lead into your actions, your mindset will make it natural to have open body language, you won't have to force it. I really like when you mentioned that a leader doesn't put blame or question why so and so happened at the time of the conflict, rather, they form a solution and then AFTER it is solved, they explain what could have gone better. That's really good advice, I've noticed that when my brother was cooking and he made this mistake, I was asking why he thought to put what he put, but I should have just found a solution and then explain after. This video helped me understand that, thank you for that. I will keep that in mind for sure 👍

Very helpful and informative. It takes great courage to be a leader. Positive energy, and having the heart to admit their faults and make things right to rectify the situation. I love how the leadership in the demonstration shown handled.

What happens if you have to lead someone who is lazy and doesn't care and you can't get rid of them. Or if someone just thinks you're too young, too old or not perfect?

Good stuff!! Love it!! Unfortunately, the business world is full of horrible bosses. A lot of people all over the place, and especially on Wall Street, are narcissistic, duplicitous, psychopathic, passive aggressive, and just plain evil sociopaths. It seems to be getting worse over time. Maybe things will reverse someday. Who knows. Anyway, I'm inspired by these kinds of videos!! Keep 'em coming!!

That is not what proactive means at all. It means to get an early start of issues that are not pressing but may become important in the future. It means to head off problems and address issues before then become crisises. What you describe in your "proactive" section is crisis management and taking responsibility and customer satisfaction.
