The fucking goosebumps I got from the first scene. The TENSION. That shit was and still is genuinely scary, and not because someone was evil enough to do this shit but the fact that MOB’S MENTAL STABILITY IS HANGING ON BY A SINGLE FUCKING STRAND OF HAIR and it’s about to BREAK. well if that happens, the entire character arc of mob would go in the trash. also the fear of the unknown works well in this case. Because we never see mob going balls to fucking walls all out berserk, it just cements how powerful he can be when he does that.
That goes against the whole fucking point of the series. Get your muscle head out of here cause this is a show that looks beyond its battles as just fights but a way to convey your opinion. Majority of the fans enjoy seeing mob improve as a person throught each episode as he encounters different perspectives.
Well we saw a lil bit of his true self when he was about to fight those three claw thugs.

Heavy spoilers for the final arc of the series.
The final arc is his ???% alternate self gaining control while how more passive side can only watch and try to regain control. He was going to confess his feeling to the girl he liked, since it was gonna be his last chance, and he git hit by a car trying to save a puppy. He fell unconsious, and his alter ego took over.
He goes on a rampage, destroying everything he passes by, and many people, includong the old Claw boss, try to stop him. In the end, he truly comes to terms with his powers and matures. He has a great group of friends and doesnt have nearly the same levels of stress and anxiety as before.
