Everyone says front foot just below the bolts for an ollie and that just doesn't work for me. I have bring it 3 or more inches back. Back side ollies up things are really hard for me. I will work on it today. Shuvit accepted. Agree you find more by walking. Even riding my motorcycle opposed to driving I see the world differently. Another great video. Really enjoying the videos.
the uk has some horrendous paths and so many dog walkers man the dogs go berserk i think its because your board sounds like growling. some great tips thanks for the vid
Hahahaha I should definitely make a video about the dogs because holy moly I've been bitten more than once by some psycho dogs who hear the board and just sprint at you and start snapping away 😂
You don't HAVE to put yourself in a dangerous situation to try this, but just keep it in your mind if you ever do find yourself about to die flying down a hill, it might just save you
There's actually a bowl pretty close by in the car, but it's just a bowl on its own and that gets pretty boring pretty quick imo. However when it comes to reasonable walking distance it's basically just street only for me ATM. There used to be a park in riding distance but it was over 20 years old and got demolished a year ago over safety concerns. They're supposed to be building a new one but that might still take another year or two to happen. But I'm looking forward to documenting the process a much as I can!
I like your video. However regarding speed wobbles you are misinformed. That technique might work at slower speeds. But as a lifelong downhill enthusiast , I'm here to tell you that when bombing a hill you definitely want to put the majority of your weight right behind your front bolts. (Closer to the front) Imo the best way to get out of speed wobbles is to do a quick power slide.
As an also lifelong downhill enthusiast, I find that leaning forward too much is usually what throws you off the board, so reorienting and putting a bit more weight back usually solves your problem. Obviously if you have the control to power slide to slow down, you either already know this or have enough control and balance that you don't need to keep it in the back of your mind that you can save yourself this way. If you are wobbling but still on your feet enough to power slide, you are going ridiculously fast. considering these are aimed at newer skateboarders, I'm not expecting people to come here wondering why it's hard to control going 50+mph downhill
Is this a master troll?? Feet together vs apart is the most nonsense thing i've ever heard 😂😂😂 Get someone to push you from the side with feet together vs apart and see which one gives you a more stable base.. Anyway, props if this was just a parody stunt 😂🤙🏽
intro got me HAHAHA
nice one . Very real for the skate board scene in uk . Good tips for an old beginner cheers dude
No problem!!
Some good pointers man. Didn't know the one about the speed wobble. You learn something new everyday.

@@OwensSkateStory you should defiantly make a vid on that 🤣 them dogs are mad. bless man
😅 man I think you should reach out Tired skateboard you gonna fit there! Cool positive vibe video
I’m pretty good at riding my board and controlling it normally but I’ve noticed I can’t do sharp turns
Loosen your trucks maybe? You really gotta dig your weight into sharper turns
@@OwensSkateStory okay I’ll try that, thanks
Great tips n advice 😊 thanks for a great vid, just subscribed and also a fellow 🇬🇧 skateboarder
Heck yeah keep it up thanks for the sub!!!
really felt that unsponsored unpaid unemployed skateboarder line
It's not a line it's REAL LIFE 😂
Nice speed wobble trick. I am too chicken to try it. But it might come in handy.👍

I accept that shove it! Good vid man 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Great vid!
Great video man! Didn’t really know about the wobble and nice shove it btw :)
thanks glad you enjoyed!
i knew that if you have larger base yo have better balance , why i have to put my feet closer on the board? (aside from ollies)
Just because it might eventually feel more relaxed and comfortable in the future
@@OwensSkateStory i will try , i started not long ago and i'm trying to backside and frontside 180 pivot , i'm a little bit stuck 😵💫
That’s my issue, doubt tricks down stuff or up stuff bc I have the board going forward
Great vid bro
Glad you enjoyed it, sub for more skateboarding content
Nice video fren
Thanks fren :3

I like this video 🙂
I like this comment! 😃
Keep ripping dude. Wish there was a park with transitions and bowls nearby for you.

@@OwensSkateStory well obviously orienting your weight too far forward at speed will cause problems.....
@@OwensSkateStory 50mph is pretty darn fast..
I prefer 30-35 for having fun.

Yeah it's slightly harder to balance like this but the whole point is to teach you better balance so you improve your board control...
