I have a Black dial Deepsea and love it being a bigger chap. I was on the fence about the Gold Deepsea, but now seeing that the Oyster bracelet has polished centrelinks it is truly the most pointless watch ever. If you want a gold watch get an iconic datejust and just buy the normal proper deepsea which is a total beast - these two together will cost you the same as this ridiculous thing.

@@RobtheAmerican Of course it is a gold Deepsea - so whats not to love? But honestly, who is buying it? An even better question is, who would wear it out in public a big city? Unless you have your own security guards, you are getting mugged for this in London, New York or any other big city. So it then becomes a safe queen and then what is the point? Buying a watch to sit in a safe is a travesty in my opinion. So this becomes a beautiful watch, but completely pointless.....

Hi I own the james Cameron deepsea it's brilliant as I do love big watches as I have a 8 1/2 inch wrist and would love to own the all gold version . And do agree it's totally in practical as a diver watch but what a great bling watch totally want one maybe some day might get to own one. Thanks John.

I think it will be a nice toy for rich kid,because the rolex AD will not sell us this watch even if we have the money for,will be the new badget for vip customer in front of the pool of a luxuru hotel in bahamas or monaco,the thrue us that rolex dont want us as customer,just want quatari,hindu millionaire,chiness business man and other narco....sad but thrue
