What kind of FAKE Rolex Deep Sea, Sea Dweller does $550 buy? Superclone? Waste of money?

- Can't go to the Rolex store and buy a Sea Dweller, but you can get a fake one online for a fraction of the cost!

There’s no shortage… it’s marketing and it backfired. Watch snobs are clenching their fists and cheeks. I love it, the audacity of Rolex.
For how good these are they could put a random name on them and sell these for a good amount rather than copy Rolex. I'd take that copy and just remove the name and keep it because it's durable and will last forever.

@@Lovemy911I just bought a DHGate fake Daytona level AAAAA or super clone for $380...And it's pretty good over all, lume isn't great but probably not at the same level as a real one. I haven't taken it to my watch maker yet for an opinion but I took my fake BlancPain Fifty Fathoms & Omega Speed Master Racing to him and they both had cheap Chinese movements that weren't replicas of the original movements. They also have fake rotors over the top of the cheap movements. The omega, only 1 of the sub dials work, and this wasn't mentioned in the description and was supposed to be a AAAAA/Super clone level (as was the BlancPain) Paid about $350-ish for each of those... Definite buyers remorse on the Omega one, the BlancPain I do like minus the movement. Hope this helps in some way... If buying a super clone you might research on Reddit and buy from trusted sellers list there rather than DHGate. DhGate would probably be best for level A or AAA fakes. And buying a homage brand like Pagani Design might be a better watch than the fake/clones as they will at least have Seiko NH35 movements in most of them as well as some level of waterproofing which clones don't unless you ask for it before its shipped but even then I'm not sure Id trust it.

I would pay it for a Yachtmaster II with rose gold. Would still wish to replace it eventually with the genuine.

Perhaps learn what a review is before posting a review that contains next to no information of any relevance ? It does t take a lot to read off the things one is holding in hand , wind up a watch and be confused about the diver function of a diver watch strap ! Duh !

Am sorry but buying a fake Rolex is so sad. OK if you like the look, fine but paying that much for something that’s fake, is embarrassing. Why buy it, is it because you want to project an image, which you know to be fake. For the money you paid for a fake you could have bought a beautiful real watch.

Maybe some cannot afford a real one but are wanting to have one don’t be so judgmental plus these days to walk around with a £40-50k+ watch just gets stolen rather lose a £300 watch lol 😂

This is one of the models that it doesn’t really matter if an AD has it or not because youve always been able buy these for around retail on the secondary market. Now watches like a submariner or a Daytona demand a premium sea dwellers have always been pretty fair though even the 43mm. Personally I’d wear a homage before wearing a fake it’s easy to replicate the outside of the watch the case the dial but what makes a Rolex a Rolex is what’s under the hood and the movements in these watches don’t even compare because they can’t replicate the movement or the patented proprietary materials Rolex uses and they aren’t capable of making a chronometer grade movement with a free sprung balance it’s like building a 1 to 1 Ferrari replica that looks fantastic on the outside and putting a Honda engine in it 😂

Actually, a honda engine would be perfect in a 1:1 replica. Way more reliable than any ferrari engine, and quicker than the f355 if you chose to put the nsx 3.0 v6 vtec in it. Maybe you should have said a dacia/ renault engine?

So, the review has no info about the watch other than its ten seconds slow a day , no info on the movement calibre or make , the metal , the dial , the glass ,the quality of the dial , feel of the strap , nothing much at all other than what seems more like a vague promo advert for Chinese clones . With a disingenuous half hearted critique of what is a fake designed to fool and rob decades of research amd hard work amd experience from the genuine watchmakers with experience, genius and skill to create something original and long lasting
Unfortunately , the lazy camera perspective seems to reflect the lazy style and attention to the “ review” the tragedy with phone cameras is anyone can post themselves and claim to be doing something they’re clearly unqualified for and pose as critics when they’re more likely advertisers for a product on the cheap .
What an absolute turd of a watch . And to think some poor sod gave the best part of $600 for it! The dial is so off, even my Granny could tell its a fake.
