Like when Dream used Quackity's scissors to cut his hair and when he got his armor from Punz, there was this whole outfit change (it looks so nice) that showed his character change. And the animation was SO SMOOTH.
THE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS. THE IMAGERY. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH
Edit: I just noticed how much of "Oblivion" was referenced in here. With him walking away from his past instead of falling into guilt. And him lying in the grass in the same spot as in "Oblivion", but with darker tones and now he's changed and much more triumphant. And obviously the scene of him looking back at his past self was such a nice touch!
I also loved the moment when George realized that Dream was free
Another thing with his hair is when it goes him current day his hair is short but spiky and in the past it was short but taken care of and stable.
THE END OF THE ANIMATIC WAS GORGEOUS, the way he looks straight at the camera was amazing, winks did an amazing job with the vocals I just- AHAJ

Honestly, it’s hard to see Dream as an irrational vivan anymore. I mean, he is still a villain, and a very unstable one as well, but I think it’s safe to say that his actions from now will be with intentions of revenge.
The only issue is, revenge for what, specifically? The things that have happened to him were caused by the things he did to others. C!Dream is absolutely an awesome character but because of the things he’s done, I find it hard to sympathize with this ‘revenge’. Like, pop off king but also… he’s a terrible guy morally.

I've been listening to the song over and over since it came out, it's absolutely incredible, and I know the full video will be just as incredible just by seeing the trailer! I hope you two keep accomplishing great things and enjoy the work you do; you're both such wonderful artists!

Man, this caught the “show them their world is mine” energy I got from the after-prison lore!
And I know what I said in Oblivion, but I (and you maybe) knew that this was the outcome. I only brought up the alternate because I found it interesting.
A path between personal story arc and plot progression, both interesting, but only one is true
I like the contrast between how dream is portrayed in this song and how he is portrayed in Oblivion. In this song, he is acts more sinister or evil and his appearance matches it. The dream in Oblivion behaves and looks the complete opposite. He looks more vulnerable and regretful. He behaves in a way that you know he is sad and feels guilty. I just wanted to mention this because I think it is cool that you can portray the same character in such different light. It also shows how complex dream’s character truly is.
Halfy, you have succeded in your mission of making Dream look attractive in every frame. This was beautiful! I'm so happy I could make it to the premiere.
It's amazing how opposite this song is to Oblivion. It's like two different movies, but on the same set! I have once again been wowed
This entire song is so good, but oh my god, I can't get 2:16 - 2:48 out of my head. It sounds so reminiscent of Oblivion, I love it. And Dream seeing/remembering himself in the prison at the same time the song mirrors Oblivion? Incredible. This song and animatic are stunning, especially that particular section, in my opinion. He goes from looking back to pushing forward, no longer falling or held back by what once was-what HE once was-and the anticipation of what he'll do next is gripping. Absolute perfection. You are so talented! Thanks for all the hard work you do to make this awesome content!!!

Amazing video!! I loved Winks' singing and Halfy's piano and drawing! This song is practically Dream ignoring all the lessons he learned from the prison that would've made him a better person but he just ignores it being the villain in the smp and because he's nothing but free. I can't help but have a feeling that he's sort of trapped in his arrogance and way of thinking though. But good job you two!

He's really good at taking all the trauma he recieved and yeeting it into the dark recesses of his mind. "Trauma? What trauma? I mean I was tortured, starved, abused, and have gone through the worst thing that could really happen to a person but I came out fine so it doesn't matter." Like there was no way he would get better in an environment like that. He needs so much therapy.

YES THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! The song itself was amazing of course, and the art to go with it!! The scene with Dream as king with Punz and Wilbur at his side, and the one where he meets Punz??? Chef's kiss. And the facial expressions are so well done! The art is all so clean and so obviously gives the character emotions, this is amazing.
Well something tells me that sooner or later Wilbur will be second-guessing his "Hero" being a good guy after a while

Edit: Even though I missed the premiere, I watched it as soon as I woke up. AND GOD, HOW AMAZING IT WAS!! From the scenes connecting to Oblivion in the beginning to all of the cutscenes in between to just the amazing visuals in general. Not to mention Winks’ beautiful vocals which I can’t get enough of. Everything about this was just a masterpiece, well done to both of you!! :D

This is so amazing! I love the story bits shown, as well as the more symbolic stuff like Dream reflecting on his prison self and dressing up as a king. Great job, both Halfy with the animatic and Winks with the song. Great job to both!
I love both the animation and the fact that in Oblivion dream sings "regret shouldn't be ignored" and now he does opposite.
Winks' vocal range is incredible. I also love at the end dream is laying in that spot in the grass where (according to the previous song) was where he was at the beginning of everything. This is just all around incredible. You all never cease to amaze.
