The fact that at 4:02 TUBBO was included with the (alive) villains of the SMP is so interesting to me, he's kind of like replacing Schlatt's place in the villain group. Idrk whether it means anything but damn is it so INTERESTING TO ME (its mostly bc I'm a Tubbo fanatic lmfao)
Well he did murder aimsey so…
I more so see it as a collection of the most major characters during these two arcs. Tubbo did say he wanted a villain arc though....
He murdered Aimsey with no qualms at all, so yeah…
idk the recent lore but see him as a villain or not, tubbo is a menace and a VERY dangerous person in the dsmp, i mean, mans has literal nukes
the second Tubbo became president, he made a comment like "screw it, hang him!" And Quckity was like "woah alright there Schlatt!" Within minutes, Tubbo went from good to villain.
The L'Manburgians singing together in full uniform had me in tears, kudos to everyone who worked on this project

That whole sequence from 3:09-3:17 is amazing. The transitions between eras, keeping the momentum with the turning of the camera, ‘Ghostbur has arrived’ turning to ‘Wilbur has departed’. 👏👏👏

It's so smooth i watched it a lot of time, i just noticed the details on the train announce.
only JUST noticed at the end 3:54, when Karl is there looking up and then down at Quackity and SapNap, its him returning to the present time after a Tales of the SMP. He looks down like he's trying to remember the adventure before it cuts to everyone singing in those banners.

The Dream SMP is still one of the most interesting and badass stories that has ever been created. I can't believe it's only been two years since it started. Incredible song and art. Congrats to all involved for creating such a masterpiece.

If you like a long and interesting story, you should try fnaf. Although it has an ENTIRELY different feel to it, it still has a very nice plot and/or puzzle/mystery with it, so you can find out the lore for yourself

This feels like a eerie lullaby, the lyrics are hard to hear sometimes.
Especially, “we sow the seeds of peace, not sorrow” being literally drowned out by the chorus’s intent for conflict.

The character's want peace for themselves.
But as said in the lyrics, "We've risen from the same ashes, yet we were each other's matches", "We'll never see eye to eye", "What seperates all our minds, is none of us will ever live the same life":
The character's are so problematic and have a habit of lighting each other's fuses, consciously or not. They become so wrapped up into their own conflicts and can't see past their own perspective to attempt to truely understand anothers. Even when peace is acheived, some wounds didn't heal properly, resulting in pain, deep scars, and unhealed injuries. From that closure isn't quite achieved, which is necesary for (some of) the character's to move on and heal. Instead resentment and fear linger. Conflicts not settled quite right make it prone for new one's to start, then the cycle tends to repeat.

I came back to see this animation and expirence nostalgia, to this song and every detail and frame by frame the way i screamed so loud when techno was mentioned in every frame because he inspried me so much omg.. and the emotion of the vocie in the song, The passion of every person's art is just incrediblely amazing everyone did so freakin well.. omfg.. I wish i could go back and watch dream smp in 2020 to this video right here! The good old days until techno's passing wow..

I know I’m kinda late but I just want to say this,
This song is so RIGHT about the story of the Dream SMP. The Dream SMP itself is just one ultimate war and the actual wars are just the battles. There was never peace on the server, and what we thought was peace was really just a break in between the battle. Everyone has their own thoughts on what is right and what is wrong, and in such conflict, anyone would want the upper hand. Like the song states, everyone has their own vantage, so they will never see eye-to-eye.
This is still amazing work though, and mad props to everyone who worked on it because it’s honestly one of the best Dream SMP animatics I’ve ever seen and is overall a masterpiece. Congrats to everyone!
Halfy and Winks, thank you for all that you do. Your music is so inspiring and the quality of every single song you bring to the table is mindblowing. You guys are actually insane at what you do. Cheers to the community as well for coming together to create such a masterpiece! ❤
I’ve been anticipating this song and it definitely seems to be well worth the wait! The animators, vocalists, and all the other people coming together is such a testament to the beautiful art that can be created through teamwork! To everyone who was a part of this project: you’re amazing artists, thanks for sharing your talents with so many people! My anticipation and excitement is already skyrocketing, I can’t wait to watch this when or after it premieres!

This is hands down one of the best pieces of mcyt fan work, truly incredible. I'm so proud to be in such a vibrant and creative community and I hope the algorithm treats this masterpiece well.

Honestly I love how this shows...no matter what you do, conflict will always arise, especially when everyone on this server is traumatized, and quick to react. Their all selfish and overprotective, and honestly I love it. I love that none of them are good people, and that their all right in their own point of views, and their all growing. It all depends on who you watch usually. Who's story you follow. And I think this captures it beautifully. And they didn't even include the other people and problems on the server,it's like a bunch of storylines that overlap. The dsmp is just...so cool to think about.

You know you’ve spent too long in the fandom when you can actively pick out half of the sequences and name the animator just from the artstyle. That aside though, how crazy is it that it’s been 2 years since the dsmp began? It feels like it’s been so long but also no time at all, and I’m glad I got to share that time with this amazing community.
