Anyone else want every single dream smp animator to team up to make a TH-cam series taking all the lore audio, getting a couple dedicated editors, making a complete lore soundtrack from the dream smp and animating it into a legit movie. I sure do, but boy will it never happen

i love how you turned ghostburs limbo into wilburs train station, but overgrown with blue things, something he used to make himself calm down and ignore the bad parts he didn't like. now he's surrounded by things he thought gave him comfort. am I looking to deep into this? yes but Its so prettyyyy
The way you animated the wars, betrayals, deaths, etc, hit WAY harder than the actual SMP. Paired with the song just adds a really deeper meaning to it all.

I love how it transistioned from Tommy leaving Techno to Techno ruining L'manberg. This is so amazing.. Who said cartoons can't be sad?!?!

A lot of these moments are kinda hard to take seriously when you're first watching the original streams, but once people animate them, once the characters can properly interact with the world around them like in real life, all of these moments hit so much harder. This animatic is living proof of that. Adored it
I found this pmv after like a year! I remember watching this and I like knew ZERO of the DSMP lore… I freaked out when I saw this again and I’m getting so much nostalgia rewatching this.. I missed this pmv so much and it’s one of the only ones to actually make me SAD like I’m LITTERALLY *ON THE VERGE OF TEARS* RN?! I’m honestly really upset there’s probably not going to be more DSMP content from ANYONE anymore because of what some of the members have done… Because honestly the lore and acting was AMAZING! thank you for creating this :)

I know this video was released 2 years ago, and I first watched it way back when, but now, I can finally comment, and tell you what this animation has done, and inspired me to do. I liked the "and you caused it" was directed at mostly Dream, showing him when that part played, then at 3:54, it sounds like that phrase should be put there, and instead of Dream it shows Tommy. Very well done.
I just love how with the ending and around 2 minutes in when its saying "you caused this/it" but it shows a different person each time. It shows that they all blame themselves for something. Or they blame someone else. Like how Tommy blames Dream or himself. Tubbo blamed Sam for leaving Tommy in the prison. Like how Wilbur thanks Dream for brining him back. And Tommy blames himself for Wilbur arguing with Quackity. And Tubbo blames himself about L'manberg. I ALSO LOVE HOW IT ENDS WITH THE SAME SCENE AS THE BEGINNING BUT WITH JUST TOMMY BECAUSE IT SHOWS THAT HE FEELS ALONE AND ISOLATED AND LEFT OUT! THIS WAS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL! GOOD JOB!
This is honestly my favorite animatic, it's way too underrated. I would've watched it a hundred times by now, but I don't want it to lose its feeling. My two favorite, (And at the same time least favorite,) scenes are Ranboo and Tubbo crying together, and the train station with Dream, Ghostbur, and Revivebur.
I really like how the first two times when it said "Setting fire to our insides for fun." It's Techno, but the last one is Wilbur. Great attention to detail, also I really liked when Tommy was resurrected. Just thought that part was particularly cool. :)
"Destroy the middle, it's a waste of time." (shows discs in the middle of the screen) Fantastic foreshadowing to Tommy valuing the discs above all else, and that he should let go to keep the people that matter.
holy shit this is such a good summary of tommy's story!! another amazing thing is just how consistently good this is,, like. so much effort was put into every individual frames even things that would only be there for a second, like backgrounds, perspective, and lighting going as far as to even recolor outlines
Alright I have alot to say about this work of art! The first thing that was great about this pmv, is the song. I immediately got chills because of how nostalgic it is, and I had chills throughout the whole video. Every lyric was felt very deply. I remember hearing this song when I was young and first starting my art journey irl. The second thing, is the way This artist drew the dsmp menbers with such expression! Each frame has SO much emotion. Even when the character is just staring blankly, they still have so much expression! Now the third point. The ambience and meaning of the colors- they are so incredibly gorgeous! Each part of the pmv has new varieties for symbolism for each one of the characters. The fourth point! The lyrics for each scene fit VERY well with the drawings. When the plot picks up, the artist draws more extreme images, and for the calmer parts of the song, the characters have their realizations relating to lmanburg. The fifth point The amount of SHEER PASSION that went into this project shows! Omg I'm crying this was the first dream smp animation I watched I didn't even know the lore but now since I understand the lore and love the dream smp this brings so much memories for me.I'm crying😭
holy-this is incredible? i’m an emotional wreck oh my godddd. the art and everything is so perfect, a cartoony style but beautiful use of body language and expression and small detail to create emotion, and it’s all fully colored and shaded? like? hellO. and the way you put every event it just hurts, like how it just feels like c!tommy mulling over everything and blaming himself because everyone around him blamed him, so of course he’d believe them. i genuinely felt my chest hurt when tommy jumped off the pillar, when he left techno, when ghostbur sobbed in the wreckage after doomsday, when ranboo held tubbo as they cried after tommy died, when tommy screamed after ghostbur, when it showed ghostbur in limbo, and then tommy on the bench alone-coming full circle from the beginning where it was him and tubbo. the song too, youth is such an amazing song and one of my favorites, and you just took my heart and STOMPED on it by using it for the smp oh my g o d,, just in general this is gorgeous thank u

I watched this when it was posted, and I remember loving it so much. Now ranboo isn't coming back to the SMP, Phil's gonna be off it for a while, and we're starting a year without techno. So much has changed over the course of a year.
This actually made me cry.. I don’t blame Tommy or dream but they both need to somehow cooperate... feel bad for both of them. Dunno why.. The ending broke me though. This story never gets old….

You really only made videos of things I like! omg This is the whole history of dsmp. Tommy's emotions and the situation of charaters was expressed very well. I watched all your videos. And what I learned is that you not only draw well, but also have a natural talent for expression or story interpretation! (english isn't my native language, So there may be something wrong. It's just I was so impressed!)
I'm a little late to the party, but holy hell this was INCREDIBLE! All of the colours and the lineart with fucking amazing, and it all lined up with the lyrics perfectly... honestly just beautiful work, man. I always love seeing so many people put so much work and effort into these DSMP animatics, stunning honestly.
I know I’m literally 2 years late, but I don’t f-cking care. This is a masterpiece and deserves to be seen by the world and everyone who used to be in the DSMP. The style, the animation, the effects, the time probably spent on this . . . It’s amazing. And now I’m sobbing at 3 in the morning when I’m supposed to be sleeping. I miss them so much. I miss every stream I took for granted after deciding not to watch. I miss Technoblade. I miss laughing with them. I miss them noticing what I said in chat. I miss the DreamSMP. They made my life worth living. And now I have millions of wonderful memories to share with my family, and friends, although knowing that they’ll never feel the same way about a Minecraft server as I did. But I don’t care. The rest of the fandom knows, and sometimes . . . Maybe . . . With videos like these, we can always remember the tale of the DreamSMP.

i have never loved a small detail like the one at 2:22 where ranboo and tubbo are crying together over Tommy's death and it is burning ranboo because of the water. This is amazing and the style is so cute and the smallest of details you catch is amazing!!!!

I'm revisiting this PMV because I still had it in my watch later for some reason, it's still as good as I remember though. And like I didn't say it the first time I watched this: I love your art, I love how expressive and soft your style is. It's simple but not too simple, it's just nice to look at, idk what to tell you, and your designs for the characters look great as well. Rewatching this is getting me nostalgic for the smp but in a good way. You're truly talented and I'm sure you will achieve great things in life
Wonderful work on this PMV! You were able to include so much in such a short span of time. I like the coloration of netherite, where it's not just black but really feels like the purple of obsidian, hinting at its powerful nature. The colors were phenomenal as well. Great job on the video!

The lyrics for each scene fit VERY well with the drawings. When the plot picks up, the artist draws more extreme images, and for the calmer parts of the song, the characters have their realizations relating to lmanburg.

The amount of SHEER PASSION that went into this project shows! I am really grratful for dsmp animators because they further the dsmp timeline, and tell it as it goes.

Omg I'm crying this was the first dream smp animation I watched I didn't even know the lore but now since I understand the lore and love the dream smp this brings so much memories for me.I'm crying😭

the art and everything is so perfect, a cartoony style but beautiful use of body language and expression and small detail to create emotion, and it’s all fully colored and shaded? like? hellO. and the way you put every event it just hurts, like how it just feels like c!tommy mulling over everything and blaming himself because everyone around him blamed him, so of course he’d believe them. i genuinely felt my chest hurt when tommy jumped off the pillar, when he left techno, when ghostbur sobbed in the wreckage after doomsday, when ranboo held tubbo as they cried after tommy died, when tommy screamed after ghostbur, when it showed ghostbur in limbo, and then tommy on the bench alone-coming full circle from the beginning where it was him and tubbo.
the song too, youth is such an amazing song and one of my favorites, and you just took my heart and STOMPED on it by using it for the smp oh my g o d,,
just in general this is gorgeous thank u
I almost cried remembering the moments and comparing it to this. The drawings/animations were full of emotion.
That was really good!! That one panel of Ghostbur screaming for Tommy in the prison was heartbreaking and I love it!!

This actually made me cry.. I don’t blame Tommy or dream but they both need to somehow cooperate... feel bad for both of them. Dunno why.. The ending broke me though. This story never gets old….

I know I’m literally 2 years late, but I don’t f-cking care. This is a masterpiece and deserves to be seen by the world and everyone who used to be in the DSMP. The style, the animation, the effects, the time probably spent on this . . . It’s amazing. And now I’m sobbing at 3 in the morning when I’m supposed to be sleeping. I miss them so much. I miss every stream I took for granted after deciding not to watch. I miss Technoblade. I miss laughing with them. I miss them noticing what I said in chat. I miss the DreamSMP. They made my life worth living. And now I have millions of wonderful memories to share with my family, and friends, although knowing that they’ll never feel the same way about a Minecraft server as I did. But I don’t care. The rest of the fandom knows, and sometimes . . . Maybe . . . With videos like these, we can always remember the tale of the DreamSMP.

i have never loved a small detail like the one at 2:22 where ranboo and tubbo are crying together over Tommy's death and it is burning ranboo because of the water. This is amazing and the style is so cute and the smallest of details you catch is amazing!!!!

I'm revisiting this PMV because I still had it in my watch later for some reason, it's still as good as I remember though. And like I didn't say it the first time I watched this: I love your art, I love how expressive and soft your style is. It's simple but not too simple, it's just nice to look at, idk what to tell you, and your designs for the characters look great as well. Rewatching this is getting me nostalgic for the smp but in a good way.
