Insurance unfortunately kick back most of them. My wife had a 1.7cm lump in her breast , insurance kicked back CT scan . Crazy

I followed their journey since Taylor posted the first video and my heart goes out to Taylor and Weston and the whole family. Our Hayley girl will always be loved and missed. She was an inspiration to so many people. I cried when Hayley passed as I'm sure millions of others have, she truly was a warrior. Rip Our Hayley girl forever in our hearts.❤

This is so heartbreaking. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 31. Young with no previous medical issues. It is such a blessing that it was still stage 1 but I had all the classic symptoms (bloating, fullness) - but these are symptoms what women are all too often conditioned to endure or not think twice about. That’s what makes ovarian cancer such a silent killer. Thank you for sharing this podcast and thank you to Taylor and Dr. Taylor for helping to help educate and empower women to take control of their health.

A pelvic ultrasound should be included with a woman's female yearly exams....

My 17 year old daughter had a issue similar. She was having pain in her lower right side where the female parts are. I took her to the Dr over and over they did nothing and told us she's fine. It got to the point she was in so much pain she was sweating and puking so I took her to the ER and they found a cyst that was 4 liters full of fluid. It had grown from her tubes into the stomach under her ribs. She had to have emergency surgery bc the Dr told us she wouldnt make it to the bigger hospital in time. Her stomach had gotten huge and hard she was gaining weight and we couldn't understand why she couldn't lose either. Well it was a torsion cyst that had grown for years. I was so mad at the Drs bc no one listen to me when I told them something was wrong with her. Well she ended up losing her tube and ovary bc it twisted so bad it cut off the blood supply to it and they cut her open as a c section to drain the cyst and pull it all out. I've learned now when it comes to anything regarding your health you have to advocate for yourself and do all you can to get testing and such done because it can go under the radar if not. Thank God my daughter is alive and well now and hopefully she can still have children one day.

It’s so frustrating to know how much Haley tried to advocate for herself and the doctors kept brushing her off! The whole “you’re too young for cancer” line is sooo outdated!

Hi Dr.A, my mom passed this year from appendix cancer after having HIPEC at UCSD like you mentioned. It’s such a rare cancer. I would love if you could talk about it more to raise awareness.
