Easiest way to prime the line to the carby is to pull the pump out of it's little cubby and drive it from the rear with a flat blade screwdriver bit in a drill ;-)
@@marekczarek5987 I have Compression tester if is below 100 you need to replace ring and if the piston has Scores or scratches then the piston needs replacing hope this helps
Ive added 34mm carb to my 2009 euro 3 bike do I need to change the oil mixture and also how do i do that, I know you may not know but I thought id ask because I am scared to ride my bike 😂
@@ashthersguy1787 ah okay thank you and I am running the original oil system im going to bleed it and makesure it’s getting oil because id hate to blow it up took me hours stripping it and messing around with exhaust that didn’t fit etc will be worth the hassle once it is reliable and running
@@ashthersguy1787 it is your very helpful sorry for the recent spam in questions from me im not that old so my knowledge is a handful but i know the way to make these bikes last thats the important thing. Your videos are very informative and helpful ive not done carburettor fitting,jetting alone or even worked on my bike alone but with knowledge ive got on these motors and the helpful information you and others put out I thought id give it a go and if all goes wrong my fathers a mechanic so he would be able to sort it out. Keep up the great content and even though I have the newer version your videos help because I have 122 engine so everything is identical

What oil was this? Cheers I’ve got a rs im collecting tomorrow and it has silkolene pro inside but running low and was thinking about swapping the oil to castrol TTS but not sure if they changed it to power 1
@@ashthersguy1787 cheers I’m running silkolene comp 2 and bike runs brilliant on this stuff I don’t go over 9k and rarely see that so the bike shouldn’t have any issues
Have you got oill pump still attached as can gust fill it with 2t oill im not sure about pre mix as never have done it i will look into it for you hope this helps

Yes I have replace the piston every time I do a top end rebuild

Fast of all are running oill pump or prx mix if your running oill pump then no if you running pre mix run it at 40.1 hope this helps

I have always run castrol power 1 as long as is not a pre mix oill and cheep oill should be all OK hope that's help

What oil ratio should i use when putting pre mix into my tank? Aprilia rs 06

30:1 is ok as a starting point for premix, although with modern oils you can probably get away with 40 or 50:1. Hope this helps
