I would have started with Tripoli but use an angle grinder for more torque and rpm. Then I would consider my rouges. Alloy is recommended green, however white is sufficient if you are experienced enough to have the right feel upon application. I would use the same wheel for the soft cutting agent (Tripoli) as used in this video. And a very similar, if not same polish wheel. The difference between the compounds I'd use as opposed to the those used in this video is purely because I'm a jeweller by trade. Therefore know the compounds professionally and can use them to create a mirror finish with a minimal amount of effort. Especially a frame presented as such in the video. However a frame like a slabside GSXR in which has an anodised coating, must be sanded fully off before the process of using a cutting agent. As a cutting agent is not suffient in removing prior factory finishes to most frames.

Easiest way to prime the line to the carby is to pull the pump out of it's little cubby and drive it from the rear with a flat blade screwdriver bit in a drill ;-)

After owning two of these bikes, the warm up procedure isn't about letting it sit for 5 minutes until warm. Its better too start the bike IF it needs the choke then keep it enabled and reduce slowly as she begins running without. Once the choke is off which should be about 10-30 seconds depending on the tempreture outside then leave her for about 1 minute as you put your helmet, gloves and zip up the jacket. Then set off on your journey but gentle under 5k revs until she is upto temp then slowly start using the rev range. Never had a sieze but maintenance at 10k miles do a top end rebuild, keep some sparkies in your backpack as no doubt you will foul a plug at some point. Fantastic bikes if you treat them right, I always used premix over relying on the oil drip feed system after running 2stroke dirt bikes. Everyone i knew that used the oil feed system used to sieze or blow the rings, As you know once you close the throttle lubrication is limited on the piston which causes most siezes. Can be a faff making premix but i feel you getting overall better running bike once you dial it in the the correct needles and mix.

I just tightened the copper screws that hold the circuit board and that already fixed it. No need to disassemble everything.

Always keep a two stroke topped up with decent oil and and run it properly before riding and you won’t go wrong with a 2 stroke

If you turn both adjusters the same number of flats on the nut, then the wheel alignment will not be changed. Owners handbook lists rear wheel spindle torque as 8daN.m (80Nm) which is about 60 pound foot. Chain slack should be 25mm

If you don't disturb the chain adjuster bolts then no need to reset them afterwards. If you slacket the lock nut then a lot easier to turn the adjuster. Not sure I would trust the gap to be the same on both side when the wheel is in line!
