    Awesome tutorial bro definitely going through it. BTW what system specs do you use or recommend for blender? I'm planning to build a PC.

    • @blueinversion
      @blueinversion  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If you have a high budget, max out on GPU with as much VRAM as you can. Of course, latest processors with high RAM, especially if you are going to do video editing for animations/vfx. And one thing most people ignore, but if you can afford get a 4k monitor with industry-standard color profile. Another thing which is not talked about, but I suffered a lot - do not cheap out on the power supply or the cooler. Liquid coolers are a big hassle if you are not an expert at them, so I recommend you get the best air coolers (and quiet) and make sure you have a sense of air flow in the case. Make sure there is a proper, inflow with one fan and outflow with another (more fans if you can). About the OS, I use Linux but it isn't for everyone. So just go with Windows, otherwise if you want a lot of headaches but full control on your system, and you are ready to sacrifice some mainstream software - then I would go with Linux. Also, get a mechanical keyboard with a standard layout. Make sure you are comfortable with it, also if you are planning to become a power user, having those extra preset buttons are super helpful. You can bind certain shortcuts, or scripts in Blender to those keys. About the mouse, you can try going with an ergonomic mouse, specially if you are not conscious of overuse and healthy wrist exercise and regular breaks during work. That's all I can think of right now, yeah get a good chair with good back support, do not get into bad posture. Also, try having a bright room and stay at enough distance from the screen to avoid eye damage. Good luck with your build, I hope you have fun with Blender! :)

      @@blueinversion Thanks a lot man this helped. Since GPU is what matters should I go with the geforce gaming cards or with the quadro series of cards. I think the quadros are quite expensive in higher configs. Anyways thanks a lot man.

    Impressive tutorial. I have a question about denoise. I learned from blender guru that you should use the "noisy image" tab connected to the tab on the denoise node. You plugged in the ordinary image. Does it matter for the final result?

    • @blueinversion
      @blueinversion  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It shouldn't make much of a difference. I think the noisy image is a de-speckled version of the image to reduce fireflies, if any. This can lead to artifacts if the sample count is too low. So in conclusion, just choose the ordinary image and you should be fine.

      You can add the HDRI to the world shading tab in Blender. Then you can put the car on a plane and check shadow catcher only for the plane. This way you will have the shadow on a transparent plane and it will look like it's sitting on the environment.
