Training used in this video is progressive reinforcement. Here I teach you how to teach your dog to spin then back up through your legs. A very fun trick and VERY impressive to show people.
Thanks for sharing, I'm having trouble with my Aussie shepherd automatically sitting after she does the spin. Any suggestions on keeping her on her feet once she does the 1/2 spin and is under my legs??
ann mcleod dont throw at far distances. Teach "drop it" firs. give toy to dog ans teach himto drop it. When that is 100% perfect throw it on ground next to dog, and do the same, pixk up and drop it. Add distance by time.. Good Luck.
u show how it looks like that time will u give had to spin like that ? how much time will it take to practice? i have one more doubt. should we teach our dog a command only after completing last command?
I have ONE problem with this, ....YOU are using "two word", commands. ..... This is a "B.I.G." NO NO in the training dogs world. ..... 1, "back", is one command, ..... 2, "up" is another command, you are going to cause a lot of confusion in your poor dogs mind when you want it to go "UP", onto something like a box or small platform...... I have NO problem with your training with treats, ..... just the use of two word commands, ..... KEEP IT AS SIMPLE AS POSSIBLE. .... ONE WORD COMMANDS.......
i really love your videos and how patient you are! really excited to try these!

Your dogs are so talented Marcy
Thank you !
your video on TH-cam is amazing I like your videos very very much and I hope you make more videos
I found touching the tail works even better, my dog got it faster than drawing a circle with treat. Later I changed to pointing at the tail
You literally couldn't have made this clearer. 10/10 great vid
I Love this video its my teacher

Mitch Meilleur Reward before she sits. For a 3/4 turn, get your hand in there and reward with the click and treat!
love your step by step...how do I reteach fetch?..my Willow drops items too early and too far away...help!

Ok , maybe a stupid question but does it matter which direction the dog turns ?
My dog's name is Luna :)
When is a good age to start teaching tricks like this? My dog is 4 months, is she too young?
What is that clicking on the background?
Natalia Pokornicka it’s a clicker trainer
what do you do if the dog sits down instead of backing up
@S. O. lol
My right ear is lonely
my puppy did it o n the first try

why would you say clicker training is better than just voice and treats
A clicker is never: Tired, Angry, Upset, etc.
Personally I use a vice marker 'Ess' (a modified yes) in place of the clicker as it frees up my hands.

Seems like the dog got it pretty easily to me. Maybe you're just a bad trainer 😂😂😂
