Amorim is being hyped up beyond reality. He has been very average in Europe with Sporting. He knows Portuguese football inside out so winning that league isn't as big an achievement as people claim. Liverpool need a manager with far more experience than Portuguese football.@@jemiee9493

I said if he thinks that he could go to Bayern or Madrid first and then try to come to us after he either succeeds or fails, then don’t brother. If he came to us and failed would either one of Bayern or Madrid take him, that’s a big fat no. So why should we have to take him of off them if he were to fail at either one of them?
Because people are saying that he should go to Bayern or Madrid, and then if he fails at them then he could still go to Liverpool. No thanks we’re alright. That’s what I meant by 1st choice.

There is no-one in world football who has that likeable charisma that Klopp has. We need to realise Klopp is crazy unique. He isn't the norm. He is a once in a lifetime manager. We can't look to compare with him- just need to get a good quality manager and understand this will be be actual reality now.
If Liverpool were in need of a rebuild I'd consider Amorim to be a top choice - But this Liverpool squad is elite, top 5 in Europe. We just need to maintain momentum, IDK if Amorim has us competing for the title next season. Players like VVD, Salah, Alisson & Robbo aren't gonna waste their last prime years with a manager that doesn't compete.
Frank and De Zerbi both deserve mad respect! Having said that they give vibes of being flops at a big team -you always get these managers wbo ball out at mid table teams but arent that guy for the elite teams!
This De Zerbi slander is actually wild. Brighton are 9th with a game in hand, which is a good season considering they lost their two best midfielders and had the 2nd most injuries in the league this season. The Football he plays is incredible with the players he has. They have the 4th least XG conceded behind the Arsenal, City, and Liverpool so the idea that he can't coach a defense is false its just his defenders are terrible.

I always thought pple getting ahead of themselves w Xavi coming to LFC. He's always seemed the kind guy who's deliberate, thoughtful & it's very sensible that he'd want to realize the quality of his coaching in the UCL w this group of players, plus perhaps a bit of loyalty to those players. This isn't personal for me ..he's a young coach & it's early days for him. Whether he wants Real or Bayern, I don't know or care. Only a guy who wants to take on the LFC job is who I'd like. The timing has been unfortunate for us, so we move. Edwards better start scrapping that black book for potential names..😁👊 It's a bit NERVY future w this appointment.
Don't know too much about Amorim but whoever we bring in is a gamble. I can't think of names out there who bring ready-made credentials & gravitas to the table.
On the low....(This would be a whole different vibe from Jurgen) but I wish Unai Emery was available bcz I know one thing..he's organized & knows how to set up/build his teams & loves him an Underdog mentality on top of being hungry. But it's not so.

But owners and higher ups job is to keep a level head and not get carried away by the emotion of short term results .
