I sold my 870 SPS and went to a muzzleloader and now I’m wanting to get into a PCP. You give all the needed detail for someone just starting or wondering how everything works.
ya the 308 good economy for the power the air force is a nice gun not a plinker at alllll...your videos are good, real good I gotta tell ya I'm working on a p-rod trigger frame 7075 3/4" integrates a ar-15 grip right above that a trigger spring tension adjuster starwheel with a detent and spring and of course two stage so all external adjustment and a drop in trigger group and a folding ar style stock you got me thinking though a bull pup plinker p- rod now that I'm in the middle of the carbine 2240 I guess is what I should do ya you can tell I love air guns thanks for taking your time to make these videos

Texan, they told me about the Thor. They do have a video out with it and I'm going to buy it as soon as I get the money. I already own the ........457 Texan and have a Hunter supply Texan short shroud, and limb saver on it and it shoots like a dream, and is as quiet as mouse farts, but I want a fifty . I was going to get a Umarex Hammer, but I would like to get a .%0 in a Texan since I've found one .But I was watching your video on the .50 cal Dragon Claw, and wanted to tell ya about the Thor, keep on shootin'.
loved the video... I really wish you would do test without gun being hooked to external air supply.... This would help me decide if this is a good woods gun for hunting....

A texan is in my future. Interested in your impression of calibers. What do you find is the best balance of trajectory, accuracy, and retained energy downrange. Im leaning toward .308 but .357 may be best balance?
Like your video and the way you tested the different grains. Been looking at the Airforce. Wanted to know which one will you use for deer hunting this year. 45/357/ or 308. I am a 308 fan but looking at the hitting power from the 45 not sure which one to get. Love to hear the cal you like the best for deer. Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work.
dreamstriker4 I have the 308 an the 45 ,, both of them would do great on deer but I don't think most states will allow the 308 ,, I put a mag hammer spring in my 308 an I'm getting 1080 fps on a 110 gr hollow point ,, puts coyote right down at 200 yards ,,it would do the same on deer to..
Quality over quantity, and would you want to strap a SCUBA tank on your back to use it? because that's what you would need to do to run this rifle as an automatic.
if you downloaded a .308 firearm to shoot subsonic... yes. Pressure is pressure, velocity is velocity, doesn't matter what causes it. Firearms might be a tad louder, due to the rapid cooling of the gasses at the muzzle, but not much.

Good morning. Out of curiosity, do you still shoot the .308 with the magnum spring? Still getting good numbers?

Have you measured the dB level of this beast? It sounds pretty darn'd loud.
Well with out a muffler on it of course its loud. Slap a shroud on it and its sweet.
just as loud as a .308 firearm shooting the same bullets at the same velocity.
Have you ever tried using hydrogen which is less dense then helium?
