1.The accommodation that we can give to learners with communications difficulties was we must be a good speech model for the child, and make sure that we speak clearly and correctly to the class so that everybody can understand what we are saying. If the child has any questions, make sure that we can give the answer as clearly and concisely as we can.
If there is a certain area that the child struggle with, then we have to help them with it and come up with solution to make easier for the child. By having good support system will help the child to feel comfortable and they are willing to ask for help when they need it.
2.Choose one types of speech impairment and then describe.
Speech sound disorder--- It is normal for children to struggle to orinounce certain sounds as they learn to talk. But after the ages of four and five, constant mispronounciation might signal a problem. It can continue into adulthood, or some people get it after a stroke. They can happen due to traumatic event, illness or surgery.

    1. Learners with communication difficulties may benefit from accommodations such as extended time for assignments, use of assistive technology, visual aids, and alternative assessments tailored to their strengths. Additionally, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment can enhance their overall experience.
2.Stuttering, characterized by disruptions in the normal flow of speech, often involving repetitions, prolongations, or blocks of sounds or syllables. Stuttering can vary in severity and may impact communication confidence. Therapy techniques focus on improving fluency and reducing anxiety associated with speaking.

    1. What accommodations can be given to learners with communication difficulties?
➡️ Different stages and accommodations may be used to provide a level playing field for children with communication difficulties or disorders such as the use of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and practical tips to be used in the classroom such as speaking slowly and clearly without exaggerating speech and use of gestures to clarify information.
    2. Choose one types of speech impairments and then describe.
    ➡️ I Choose Voice Disorder
A voice disorder means you have an atypical tone of voice. It could be an unusual pitch, quality, resonance, or volume.
Voice disorders affect the ability to speak normally. These disorders can include laryngitis, paralyzed vocal cords, and a nerve problem that causes the vocal cords to spasm. Your voice may quiver, be hoarse, or sound strained or choppy.

A fluency disorder causes problems with the flow, rhythm, and speed of speech. If you stutter, your speech may sound interrupted or blocked, as though you are trying to say a sound but it doesn't come out. You may repeat part or all of a word as you to say it. You may drag out syllables.

    1. One of the primary accommodations that can be given to learners with communication difficulties is the provision of alternative communication methods. For example, educators can provide visual aids such as pictures, charts, and diagrams to support the understanding of concepts and instructions. This can be particularly helpful for learners who struggle with verbal communication. Additionally, educators can encourage the use of assistive technology such as speech-generating devices or communication boards to facilitate communication for learners with severe speech disorders.
2.Stuttering is a communication disorder that affects the fluency of speech. It is often characterized by the repetition of sounds, syllables, or words, as well as prolonged sounds and interruptions in the flow of speech. Stuttering can also involve physical manifestations such as rapid eye blinking, lip tremors, and tension in the facial muscles during speech production

1 .Accommodations for learners with communication difficulties can include providing visual aids like pictures, charts, or diagrams to support understanding. Using gestures or sign language can also help convey information effectively. Additionally, allowing extra time for responses and providing written instructions can assist learners in processing information at their own pace. These accommodations aim to enhance communication and ensure that learners with communication difficulties can participate and learn effectively.
    2. Speech disorder characterized by disruptions in the normal flow of speech, such as repetitions of sounds, syllables, or words, prolongations of sounds, or blocks where the individual is unable to produce sounds. Stuttering can impact the fluency and rhythm of speech, causing communication challenges for those affected. Therapy and interventions can help individuals manage and improve their speech fluency.

1.*Adhere to children more closely.Children can receive easier assistance with questions and assignments f they are seated closer to the front of the class. Children with hearing impairments might also need to sit closer to you.
*Commemorate and and discuss diversity. Every student wants acceptance, even those with speech or language impairments. Discuss and celebrate differences and highlight the shared interests of the children, as they are sometimes the targets of bullying from those who perceive them as "different". Be aware of bullying and maintain a policy that allows no tolerance for such conduct.
    2.*Phological disorders
Phonologically disordered children continue to use improper speech patterns after they should have ended by age. Speaking incorrectly involves omitting the initial or last sound of each syllable and substituting certain sounds with others.

2.A communication disorder called stuttering makes it difficult for people to speak clearly. They might pause frequently during their speech or repeat words, syllables, or sounds. This can be frustrating and humiliating, causing tension in the muscles of their face, neck, or chest. But many people are able to effectively manage their symptoms and communicate when they receive therapy and support.

1.In order to fully involve students with communication issues in educational activities and to fully realize their potential, adjustments must be made for them. Offering substitute means of communication, like graphic boards, devices, and sign language, facilitates the expression of ideas. Students might demonstrate their expertise through written work, drawings, or presentations by altering assignments. Peer support is essential; matching students who struggle with communication with encouraging peers makes it easier for them to comprehend, process, and articulate ideas.
    2. Speech impairments such as stuttering cause abnormal speech patterns to be disrupted. These patterns can include unintentional prolongations, repeats, or blocks of sounds, syllables, or phrases. The degree of stuttering varies, and it is frequently accompanied by tenseness in the body, nervousness, or avoiding particular phrases or circumstances. Speech therapy is frequently used to help people manage and enhance their speech fluency.

•Learners with communication difficulties need more focus in order to develop themselves and to communicate well. The general educational adaptation is a description of the changes in general and special education that are needed for the student to meet his or her goals and objectives. This includes accommodations or modifications to the general and special education programs, supplemental aids (including assistive technology) and/or supports from school personnel to meet the needs of the student. First is the universal design for learning, second is practical tips inside the learning area, example is to place them near the teacher or blackboard or away from distractions like doors or windows to focus on what they are doing. 1. We have a number of clever strategies at our disposal to assist people who are having trouble communicating. Imagine the following: speech-to-text tools, which allow them to type out ideas instead of speaking; a little extra time during talks or presentations, which allows them to collect their thoughts and articulate them clearly; and lastly, technological wizardry, which includes devices and gadgets that enhance communication.
    2. Let's now explore one of these speech peculiarities in more detail. A stutter is similar to a DJ scratching up words, creating a hiccup in the spoken pattern. It's more like running into a bump in the speech than not knowing what to say. Imagine attempting to produce a tune, and the beat merely stutters every now and again. It might be difficult for people to express themselves verbally without stuttering, which is that little hiccup in the smooth vocal rhythm.
