Conditions were horrible...why wouldn't they wait until it dries out some? Or is a rain/shine event, regardless of condition?
Rain or shine. A lot of planning goes into these events.
Conditions reveal the best riders. That Anthony kid - had super human balance.
Schedule and $$. Most of these events have a lot invested and go off rain or shine, same as MX or enduro racing.They even road race in the rain to a point.
