LOOOOOVE this! Your reaction was killer, Travis!! You've just gotta hear their cover of "Hillbilly Bone"...So Much fun! For a different kind of mood, their cover of "Country Roads take Me Home" is absofreakinlutely incredible! I look forward to your reactions...especially Home Free! Cant wait for the next one! ❤( Omg..I forgot to say "Honey I'm Good" because I figure the more I say it, the harder it will be to forget, lol!! Its just a really fun one...
This is the very first song I heard them sing live and it blew me away! They are 100X better in person! I've now seen them live 5 times. You MUST go see them in concert if you can! I recommend their Hunter Hayes Medley. Another amazing powerful mashup.
I KNOW you loved this one. Ok, ok how can you not love them all. Some I love more then others tho lol Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony) One Voice (get the tissues) 9 to 5 (live version since you've done the cover) you'll love it Folsom Prison Blues I Swear
I love how excited you get, Travis, like a little boy opening his Christmas presents on Christmas morning & getting everything he wanted! 😲 Your reactions to Home Free make me smile!!!😊 You can do anything from Home Free & I'll be happy, but I'd like for you to react to John Farnham (pronounced Far' num - accent on Far), but always do his live versions. He's my favorite singer of all time! A few other reactors have reacted to him & they are totally blown away!!!!!!!!!! Austin even mentioned wanting to do a collaboration with John. That would be my fantasy! In case you don't know, he was a teen idol in 1967 & just turned 72 on July 1st & still the most powerful voice ever! He's simply known as "The Voice" in Australia. He gave up international stardom to go back to Australia to be with his wife & kids; so that makes me love him even more! He's like Home Free, so incredibly talented & passionate about their work but funny, humble, kind, personable & doesn't take himself too seriously! He deserves to be known in the US & the world & not just Australia!
The Hank Jr. song, Country Boy Can Survive, has a line, “from north California to south Alabam, and little towns all around this land”. That captures it perfectly, country folks are so alike, no matter their geography.
Wow!!! I'm shocked I never heard this one. Adam rupp is just Phenomenal!!!!! Robs smooooooooth voice. Chris rupp!! Woooooo clear and crisp!! Austin's high notes are just perfect!! And Tim! Love his voice!!
You're love of their music and you're reactions to them are mutual with me. So infectious. Keep home free coming! there are like 140 vids. So you're not going to run out anytime soon.
Yes!! This will always be one of my favs!! They mesh these 2 songs so well. They're masters at mashups! Austin's adlibs and Tim's funky bass are so much fun! They used to open their concerts with this and it really set the mood right out the gate! Love the unique video too. So cool! ... And yes, they're all very patriotic. The last album they released is made up of all patriotic songs and it's great! "Undivided" they just released is from that album.
You might not have noticed that on "Land of the Free" there was at least one song which was not nationalistic. "Brothers in Arms" is in fact by the British Mark Knopfler and is not rah, rah, for the military but about the waste of lives in pointless wars. Btw HF has a lot of non-American fans who were not that impressed by "Land of the Free" - nationalism seems to have taken dangerous root in the US but is not that much of a selling point elsewhere.
It’s been such a joy watching you discover HF & diving down this rabbit hole 😀! Anything they touch is gold, so you can’t go wrong with any reaction you choose to do.
I had never heard either of these songs until I found their video. I was immediately obsessed. Being a boondocks girl myself, I love that song now. Chris Rupp has a video on his site where he talks about how hard it was to get the 2 mashed together. Excellent job, I think.
I really really loved your reaction! I can tell you really loved it. They used to open their shows with this song and it sounded just as nice that bass, just as good too. It's ranked up there for me as one of my favorites.
Oh my lord I just played my 1987 45 rpm. The original by The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band....I can't believe Home Free is covering this... Awesome !!! Love it.
I totally agree with USMadGirl below... you really are like a kid on Christmas morning.. and i LOVE IT!! We have been fortunate to see these talented guys in concert several times and one show started with the audience in total darkness and all of a sudden Tims bass filled the venue and they sang this song as an opener.. omg it was so awesome!! Enjoy your HF journey.. i sure do! Thanks for all you do! Stay safe
I love the arrangements on their mashups. They just get the songs to blend seamlessly. Another one I love is Women, Amen/ Female. Awesome reaction mate. Made my day!
This is one of my favorites, every time I hear it I'm amazed all over again. For me it was a dirt road in southern Wisconsin - went to a two room schoolhouse :) Grades 1-4 downstairs, 5-8 upstairs. Great reaction Travis!
I think your reaction is one of the best I've ever seen! Yes! They are amazing! Someone has already asked about these two requests but I agree! You really must react to " TAKE ME HOME COUNTRY ROADS" & " HILLBILLY BONE" Thank you so much! ❤️😀🔥🍟
They used to open their live shows with this and 7 Bridges Rd!! Listen to “ good ole boy good time”. “ Alabama sampler” and Good Old Country Harmony” written by Tim!! Great Reaction!!
LOVE your reaction to this!! Yep, they did it again! Just finished watching the premier of their "Stop, Drop and Roll" behind the scenes. Fantastic! Thank you so much for the energy, joy and enthusiasm you bring to your reactions. Great job!
Every time I hear this I wish it would still be their opening song at their live shows, because it's so freaking good and it sets a perfect concert mood! Not that what ever they do open with instead isn't good, of course it is, but it was just such an amazing opener! Your reactions always make me feel good, Travis! Home Free always make me feel good. What a way to start my day! Thank you! 🥰🙏
Thank you! Your Home Free reactions are so fun! After I watched Chris Rupp (my favorite HF tenor and hat guy) break this down along with Adam’s phenomenal arrangement of Do You Hear What I Hear, I became a Home Fry. It is my favorite HF mashup! I love Chris and Adam’s amazing vocals! 🔥🔥. This is one of my favorite Jimmy Bates, (HF videographer) videos. Dive Bar Saints, Land of the Free, Snow Globe are favorite originals. Do Hear What I Hear, House Party, Folsom Prison Blues, and Sunday Best are fun videos. My favorite emotional video is Chris Rupp’s, original song featuring Home Free: Movin On.
Your reactions make me smile as I feel the same way about them & their music. I just found Home Free last year & love these 5 talented guys. Am enjoying sharing the journey with a fellow homefry. One song that very few reactors watch is "What We Ain't Got". I absolutely love it as it showcases Tim & Austin. Hope you will consider reacting to it.
Thank you, Travis. Home Free is just like PTX; in that they never fail to impress and amaze with their talent(s)!!! Your reactions continue to make me smile ☺ Sending peace, joy and happy thoughts your way. Have a great week. And keep em comin'
LOVED YOUR REACTION! You gave me goosebumps. Love this one and it’s rarely reacted to. Loved Tim combing his hair with the rake (near the end). Hahaha. Austin sounded great with his twangy sound. Rob was great, Chris too, Tim with those low notes. Adam looked like the essence of cool. Clever video too. Great reaction Travis!
Travis, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your reactions!!! I told you this before, but you could absolutely be another one of the Home Free guys cause you are fun and free and happy just like they are! And country in your heart! They did kill this one. It was so different when they put it out at first, but it's become one of the great ones! And they would start many live shows in the dark singing this "anthem" type song and it was incredible! Happy to have found you Travis, you make my days better!! There are so many songs, I am sure you did Hillbilly Bone, another favorite. The Alabama Sampler is cool. You obviously love country. Did you do Chance leading solo on Some Girls Do? I love that one! Wagon Wheel/Song of the South mashup is great. Their Hunter Hayes Medley is great! Good Ol' Boy Good Time is really fun, done out on Austin's family farm with the guys. I love them doing Meant to Be (fun one) Lisa Cimmorelli! Wow! So many, so great! Take care.
First, I love your shirt! Now to the video and your reaction. This is one that doesn’t get many reactions and is so under-rated/underplayed. It is very different and really awesome! I love the video itself and the graphics and effects that were used. Of course, the fusion of the two songs was seamless and perfectly matched, as you said. I enjoyed seeing this one and I’m so glad you really enjoyed it!
So me, in the boondocks of Minnesota, with the creek just here. We'd (my brothers, sister and I ) go dig worms by the pig house, walk to the creek and fish. Throw those lines in. This mash up is so me!
Than you so much for such a Great Reaction !! It is one of my favorites also, I just love what they did with those songs, better than the originals in my opinion. I would like to hear you react to "Seven Bridges Road", their harmonies are tremendous on this one.
Love this Mashup and your reaction! Your joy is infectious! And can we just take a minute for Tim coming his hair with a hay rake? At about 5:26 😂 And Austin with the sounds starting at 4:53 ish!
This is awesome, I love to watch you get so excited, it’s looks great on you. I love 💕 HF , I only found HF in January of this year. Now I can’t get enough of them. I even got my grandkids listening to them. There not as into HF as I am but they listen when I am at their home. Of course my grandkids are adults already. They will always be my babies lol. Enough, I loved your reactions to anything you react to. Keep it up Travis.🎼🎶🦋🎵
Love your enthusiasm for Home Free and the sheer joy on your face when you are enjoying the music. Love me an authentic reactor and you are certainly that. Don't think you have done Good Old Boy Good Time, filmed in Austin's hometown in Georgia with his family and the Home Free Family and Dive Bar Saints, a HF original. Cheer!
I absolutely adore your reactions Travis, your enthusiasm is so contagious ! I’m always looking forward to a new reaction from you, it brings a little sunshine to my day every time 😃🤩
The thing about reacting to the Sing Of songs is that it is live without any production added to it. Everyone knows the song Pretty Woman and you will love their version from the Sing Off. Once again a great reaction. Since you seem to have some country roots, how about trying one of their new songs, Crazy by Patsy Cline.
Love Home Free and am enjoying your reactions. I notice one commenter below has mentioned John Farnham and I would also like to recommend you have a listen to him. I suggest his live performance of the Beatles 'Help' with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. An unique voice, great stage presence and fantastic audience participation. He sings it like you have never heard it sung before.
Good song, well done, loved it all! Loved your enthusiasm! I too go back and listen to songs time after time! A couple of my favorites are Sea Shanties, Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, and almost all the rest they’ve done.
I don't know if anyone has suggested this but Chris Rupp has his own TH-cam channel and on it as well as his own stuff he reviews/reacts to songs that HF do and it's really interesting watching him relive/remember how the videos came about. I love your reactions I'd like to suggest their cover of John Mayers "In The Blood" keep up with your journey down the HF rabbit hole. As other people have said anything you react to will be great.
I know I’m changing groups but just heard Pentatonix cover of the Sound of Music “My Favorite Things”. It’s a must listen. So incredibly good with their spin on it
Enjoying your content, can't go wrong with anything HF does. Have been wondering since you like country music, have you been introduced to the "red dirt" genre? Its a cross between country and southern rock sound, with great lyrics. One of my favorite artist is William Clarke Green check out his song she likes the Beatles. If you dig it it's a whole new rabbit hole of music. Keep up the good work.
Trav...you've seen about 15...that's just 10% of their videos....you have a lot to look forward too, trust me. You also should try to make plans to see them live this Fall...they are doing about 35 shows I believe...see if they'll be near you :) and if you go, ya gotta vlog it...no livestream, but put that phone camera to good use :)
my favorite mashup of theirs is Ed sheeran's Thinking Out Loud and Marvin Gayes Lets Get It On. Give it a listen, I think you will like it! Love your reactions, keep going down that rabbit hole, there are a lot of great songs in there!!
Tim's bass line is just INSANE.. I've heard this many times, just now realized. A bass guitar player could not do this better.. Live version with Chance th-cam.com/video/uqKq3Zhpvg8/w-d-xo.html
LOOOOOVE this! Your reaction was killer, Travis!! You've just gotta hear their cover of "Hillbilly Bone"...So Much fun! I recommend their Hunter Hayes Medley. Another amazing powerful mashup.
The star of this video was Austin's hair. Lord knows why. lol
don't forget tim combing his with a pitch fork
I KNOW you loved this one. Ok, ok how can you not love them all. Some I love more then others tho lol
Helplessly Hoping (5 part harmony)
One Voice (get the tissues)

Folsom Prison Blues

I love how excited you get, Travis, like a little boy opening his Christmas presents on Christmas morning & getting everything he wanted! 😲 Your reactions to Home Free make me smile!!!😊

I know folks think if you were born in the boondocks you are southern but I was brought up on a dirt road in central NY.
The Hank Jr. song, Country Boy Can Survive, has a line, “from north California to south Alabam, and little towns all around this land”. That captures it perfectly, country folks are so alike, no matter their geography.
The more I listen to this mashup the more it begins to sound like one song. Amazing. Forever Home Fry
My sentiments exactly 😍🤩I love fishin' in the dark🎣 and the Boondocks, put them together with Home Free and you've got greatness.
Seriously! You have to react to " Do you hear what I hear" Christmas song. Just Phenomenal!
And, each one is BETTER 🥰💥🔥🙃‼️ What a great rabbit hole this is 😋👍💥‼️🔥
Wow!!! I'm shocked I never heard this one. Adam rupp is just Phenomenal!!!!! Robs smooooooooth voice. Chris rupp!! Woooooo clear and crisp!! Austin's high notes are just perfect!! And Tim! Love his voice!!

I love the arrangements on their mashups. They just get the songs to blend seamlessly. Another one I love is Women, Amen/ Female. Awesome reaction mate. Made my day!
You really need to see them live!!
Loved the joy on your face watching this! That quick cut of Tim raising an eyebrow kills me every time!

That was my same reaction
They are the best at everything that they do. Great reaction
That was so good! Thank you for introducing me to it! I'd recommend Helplessly Hoping or Country Fried Pop Medley 🙂
I love that this turns into a hair care commercial at the end🤣🤣🤣
I love this song but i must say, watching it with you made me love it even more!! Great reaction Travis.
You could so be my child!!! 😆 Awesome reaction Travis! You're a top-notch reactor! Hugs 🤗💜
Awesome Job!
Great reaction video!
We love Home Free ( My Ex & Still My Friend)
They opened with this live back in 2015. It was amazing. One of my favorites, for sure.
Great reaction. I have this on my playlist and love when it comes on. A song I never see anyone react to is American Kids and I love it.
They used to open their live shows with this and 7 Bridges Rd!! Listen to “ good ole boy good time”. “ Alabama sampler” and Good Old Country Harmony” written by Tim!! Great Reaction!!

Everybody walkin this Land, Hillbilly Bone, Butts Remix, Sea Shanty should all be on your list!!😊
So awesome!!! You kill me! Love it❣❣
You're such a great home Fry!
Thank you, Travis.
Home Free is just like PTX; in that they never fail to impress and amaze with their talent(s)!!!
Your reactions continue to make me smile ☺
Sending peace, joy and happy thoughts your way.
Have a great week.

it's really hard to hear, but in the climax of the song Tim hits a B0
Actually they redid it and he hit even lower

One of my pre-Chance favs
This is a great video for sure. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song. You were really feeling it this time.
I'm so glad you loved this. It is one of my faves.
I loved this Mashup as well. You should give a listen to "Seven Bridges Road". It's an Eagles cover and the harmonies are awesome.
So me, in the boondocks of Minnesota, with the creek just here. We'd (my brothers, sister and I ) go dig worms by the pig house, walk to the creek and fish. Throw those lines in. This mash up is so me!

I love that the video looks like James Bond opening credits.
This is awesome, I love to watch you get so excited, it’s looks great on you. I love 💕 HF , I only found HF in January of this year. Now I can’t get enough of them. @@irisshort202 of course I am 😎🤗 love you Iris ❤️
Great reaction! Love you and especially your shirt! I do so enjoy you.
This made me so happy to watch!
Thank you! The new Chris Rupp and Ali Spagnola: Permission to Dance country style cover is so much fun! Home Free Country Fried Pop Medley is fun.
Sharing in your excitement
I mentioned this one in another video. I didn't see this reaction. One of my favs! I would love to see you do American Kids!!!
Love your reaction! So hyped over these guys! Love it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The arrangement here is lit. I'm not sure the originals are even in the same time signature.
Good song, well done, loved it all! Loved your enthusiasm! I too go back and listen to songs time after time! A couple of my favorites are Sea Shanties, Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, and almost all the rest they’ve done.
Love your love for Home Free.
Check out their version of"Love Train". It's incredible
Everybody Walkin' This Land, and Undivided, please!
I loved this but we totally need a full version of each song, I wanna jam out to each one individually lol 😅
Your reaction was priceless
Awesome reaction!👍
You really need to hear their original (written by Tim) song "Land of the Free"
I don't know if anyone has suggested this but Chris Rupp has his own TH-cam channel and on it as well as his own stuff he reviews/reacts to songs that HF do and it's really interesting watching him relive/remember how the videos came about. Not sure if you noticed but the harmonica sound was done by AUSTIN, not Adam. Great reaction as always.
I know I’m changing groups but just heard Pentatonix cover of the Sound of Music “My Favorite Things”. It’s a must listen. So incredibly good with their spin on it
I love both and you are right...THAT is one of my favs from Pentatonix....
Does anyone notice that Austin was playing the Harmonica lol
This song had Tim at a B0. His second lowest recorded note
yo that shirt is dope af where can i get one lol. also thank you for reacting to this.. your vibe was my vibe throughout the whole song
Go check out their original “Crazy Life”! It’s another really cool unique video. Plus an amazing song!

The video looks different than normal because it was made 7 years ago.
