I've got the same truck and I love it, the look is amazing. I think the big 3 things that let it down as a true crawler are the high center of gravity (portals+hard body), the long wheelbase and the stock tires. I'm doing a 4 wheel steer conversion on mine to help the long wheelbase issue, and plan on some unsprung brass down low with new tires for the rest. Great truck especially for the money and plenty of aftermarket support. Planning to do a mod video on my channel.

@@wesleyallen947 have a couple other trucks 1/10 scale. Had them for several months. Finally swapped out the tires made a huge difference.

mine can do heavy crawling with 63gram injora beadlock cling ons tires and portal cover and will do hardcore my fx 18 and ascent 18 with tires and beadlocks portal cover you can make it climb

I’ve read about people trying MEUS Racing or RCAWD axles and supporting parts.

will be cheaper just to change gears just look for the best ones metal axles you have to do front too for weight

Only just found your video. Really nice crawler course you got there! Question; why not stick the wheel weight inside the battery tray instead of sticking it on top of the servo? Also my K10 is really noisy/loud compared to my LC80, do you find that is the case with yours as well? Is there a mod to make it quieter?

Battery tray (sprung weight) could work too, we just preferred a spot that’s unsprung weight. As for noise, it seems slightly louder than our LC80. We don’t know of any way to change that.
