It’s really really nice. Cape, I’m not a complainer but I wish it was the Hilux.

While I'm happy to see fms revamp the older crawlers on the fcx platform I would like to see a new truck from them. Maybe a dodge ramcharger or a newer style 4Runner. Or even the atlas 6x6 getting the fcx treatment

I love it I'm gonna get one, but I want them to come out with upgraded platforms with some cool japanese bodies like datsun 720 or toyota stout/hilux on them
I just bought a TRX4M High Trail F150 two days ago. And I absolutely love it, but I do wish it had a 2-speed stock. I plan to upgrade it, of course.
FMS is doing very good things. If only they had it in a Ford body, though.
I think we need to see this truck with the DjCrawler retro ralley wheels and the black labels to complete that scale/performance look. I love your reviews and feedback on all the lastest products. Keep up the great work!

I like that k10. Alot like my 76 k20 single cab,long bed. k10 looks like a 8 or 10 inch lift on 40's. my truck has a 4 inch lift 35's on 20 inch rims 2 inch wheel spacers. my truck has a 4sd manual so there is an art to drive it smoothly. great video Adam

One clarification: I believe the differentials/ring and pinion are plastic with metal portal gears, that is the case on the LC80 and other FCX24 (shared axles).

Do you run your Mini crawlers with the transmitter that they come either or do you upgrade to a nicer transmitter. Would be nice to use like a FlySky that holds 20 models for all your crawlers. You ever done a video on how to upgrade say a TRX4M to a better Transmitter. Would be a great how to video. Just a thought.
Glad to see you are doing great.i've seen alot of your videos looks amazing.but I have question.now fms has a new platform k10 I wonder the magnum I want to upgrade with a lift a wide tire 10mm extension taller shocks maybe the new parts from the 1/18 k10 would make the MAGNUM look n be a much better truck as I hoped for.i've seen your builds they look awesome.what are your thoughts to this idea I have in mind with a custom upgrade MAGNUM? great video as always takes for sharing

Im glad FMS is revamping the 18 line. The V1's were great for scale but sucked on the trail. 👍👍👍
Would’ve rather it had straight axles because it’s more scale accurate. I know it sets the stance right and gives big clearance, but I’m in the market for a super scale K10 now. It still looks amazing though.
I just bought one and what a pain in the $&$ it is to take the body off. They are all tiny screws and it takes about 5 minutes. Plus I already stripped one of the places where the screw inserts. If I would have known this I would have bought the Traxxas. Plus if you want to upgrade, Traxxas is the way to go.
Nice review. Too bad that the parts are not 1:1 interchangeable with the LC80. Makes it somewhat more difficult for the aftermarket part makers.

I bought the SCX24 power wagon and this does way better otb compare to the scx… fms going places and getting well known

L80 vs k10? technical differences? which is better?
Wish you would have shown what the actual damage was. Did the pinion strip or what? It didn't seem like that much pressure to break metal gears.
The plastic pinion shattered; three pieces. Didn’t strip, just cracked apart. So metal gears refers to the portal boxes. The differentials are still plastic
Awesome! Would love to see how the K10 compares to the LC80 when crawling. Seems like both have their strengths and weaknesses, with the wheelbase difference, height, ext.
Too beautiful to crawl with. I like the color. The front grill really needs a black paint job, but only on the rear surfaces (keep the grill bars shiny).
A pity there are no under-fenders on the front, like the previous K10 had. It looks empty when the bonnet is opened.
Any upgrades soon, on yours ?

While the HD Black and Orange isnt my favorite for this truck, i do like that the shock towers blend in if you arent looking for them.
This makes me want to butcher the internals of my Glacier.
But how does it stack up against the Traxxas TRX4M Chevy K10?

Servos failing after a few hours is troublesome and the magnetic lights means it's not waterproof.
