  • Among the many aspects highly prized by people partaking in Ayahuasca ceremonies, it is usually the lessons learned that stand out as the most valuable. A single ceremony has the potential to impart dozens, and sometimes even hundreds of lessons, requiring months for participants to fully digest the profound encounter. Now, consider this: what kind of insights can be gained after undergoing 500 ceremonies? Wouldn't it be intriguing to uncover the most important lessons out of the thousands learned?
    Let's take a look at the top 10 of them and explore why, despite being the most basic ones, they rank as the most crucial.

    I like the analogy of the university where one learns theory which must be applied in what is so called life (real ceremony or real journey). It seems like one must apply what they have learned through Ayahuasca in real.
    If your trip was to learn patience, you will be confronted with real life challenges that require patience, and once you apply your training, you become a real master.
    If you learned the lessons about love and forgiveness in your ceremony, circumstances testing your capacity to love will show up in your life and you will either integrate the lessons about love and forgiveness in your life. This will demonstrate if you have dealt with any trauma related to this aspect or not.
    So you are the medicine and this medicine is not left behind in the ceremony and exist in your life. When you start to realise that you are not the body and mind but an observer who is detached from reality, then you realise that you are the creator of everything what the Germans I believe calls it Ubermanch or superhuman. The consciousness with no limitations. I thoroughly enjoyed your video 🌹

    14:49 about Demons. I would like to share my idea re this. I think this "inner battle" you're talking about is between the higher, developed version of you, versus the hurting/more immature/animalistic part of you. I would not label it as either good or bad, it just is. Maybe call it the Ego of the person. The Ego serves as the mind's defense mechanism. When you are emotionally hurt for example, the ego comes up with "logic" for you to believe so that you do not have to face the painful feelings. For example, "I don't care about her, she was lame as hell anyways," you say when she decides to not pursue the relationship further. Instead of facing the pain of the break up as it is, your ego instead created a certain perspective so that you do not have to do that (this does not resolve trauma though, it's like a bandaid).
    The mind is biologically geared to seek pleasure and avoid pain. This is the product of evolution over time so that it may survive and continue existing. Life perseveres to continue, and it will do it in whatever ways it can, including ways that we might think of as "destructive." What the mind seeks might be counterintuitive to the morals that your higher version of self wants to abide by.
    The more you take a look at the "demon", the more you understand its nature. When you have a "bad" thought, do not conclude it is a "demon" and try very hard to push it away. Take a look at it, face it, explore it. You'll find that it comes from a part of you that needs to be resolved. As you work with this "demon", you'll find that it's actually a misunderstood child whose needs have not been met, and have only learned dysfunctional ways of coping from their very limited capabilities at the time. This is essentially trauma. Find that kid, nourish them, and you'll notice that you will experience "peace."
    Just as the version of you who keeps wanting to eat fries, this comes from trauma as well. The human being developed to seek high calorie food items as food used to be scarce and running the human body required a great chunk of fuel due to our advanced brain structure. You are wired in certain ways, and it is neither good nor bad.

    • @IvanChocron
      @IvanChocron  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your perspective. I didn't mention good or bad, I tend to use those words very carefully. I only mentioned them as a force that drive us to do things that are against our wellbeing. There are many ways to approach them, and they are very related with all the things you are mentioning. I will release a video just on that topic so that I can expand. And I always welcome cool and thought provoking dialogue. Thanks for your input!

    Love it. Well done brother. We miss you here on the East Coast. How about a video on the beauty of the dark... it's divine balance with light... and the semantic difference between personal darkness (demons) and Universal darkness (divine). How our minds and culture have prejudice against nature -- the night (dark) or soil (dirt). Come back East, but give up some months notice as we are planning ceremonies so far in advance. Keep up the great advice.

    How can you heal the wounds of all the global conflicts now? Crime, accidents, sickness, inequality, homelessness, joblessness, poverty, hunger, thirst, closed systems, abusive countries, neglectful organizations, and more? And there are many wonderful good parts of life that need celebration and encouragement. Many good people who have wonderful potential that is never realized.8000 Million humans. 5000 Million on the Internet but still disconnected. 2000 Million from 4 to 24 just learning the world for the first time. I can't heal the wounds of all the global conflict now, because it isn't mine to do. What I, and everyone else can do, is do as much healing work as possible and realize and embody what their unique gifts are which always lead, in one way or another, to a more healed world, so that they can start living through them. It won't heal all the wounds of the world, but it will heal their own, teach others how to do the same, and create the change that is up to each person to create. I don't see any other quicker and more direct way.

    Hey brother, thank you for your reminders. I had been on a strong path of healing and spiritual practice most of my adult life, but i feel like i fell off my horse about 4 years ago. I lost all momentum and have been going in circles ever since. Despite that, I'm always yearning to return to my life before the pandemic. Not to say it's all been bad: in fact, there has been some very necessary healing during this time, but i know i need to get back to my spiritual practices and continue my healing quest beyond the four walls and a nine to five.
    I'd really like to ask where you participate in aya ceremonies, but i can understand if that's not something you are willing to share publicly. I need to reconnect with my higher visions so I can make sense of what I'm doing here. I thought i knew before, but I've really lost a lot of sense of myself and my spiritual path over these past few years. It's painful to see myself resisting it even, but i know i must keep on the path.
