I fear I'm developing an inferiority complex. Does my inability to solve even the simplest of chess puzzles make me a bad person? My ego has taken quit a beating recently.
@@rogerkearns8094 I believe my main problem is an inability to visualize the board as I mentally move the pieces. If I were to break out my chess set and physically move them, I'd probably find the solutions more often. In any event, I'm an admittedly poor player but I still love the game.
Nice. I was surprised that I did not solve this. Then realized that it was because this is such a subtle problem. Nice. If you solve this within two minutes, you should be a strong player.
Interesting. Tried the right move on the 1st minute, but didn't figure out the 2nd move next. In 10 minutes returned to it and saw the mate in the end😂

Fraid so. Very bad. You’ll be ostrich-sized like me.
So many of us are that sized. I finally saw the solution after a couple of minutes, but second guessed myself out of it 😕

Interesting, but black is doomed anyway, whether in 2, 3 or 4 moves. Puzzles where black has options to fight back are more fun.
Looking at a7 and c7 would solve the puzzle!
