Beautiful really, and I'm so used hearing $72,000 for a truck that it doesn't seem to be to high of a price anymore. A lower trim would do nicely for those who buy it for the looks and don't need a worktruck Nonetheless, I suppose its with and height makes it ungainly for parking and general maneuvering around traffic. Probbably great for wide roads. Thanks for the thorough evaluation.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! I’ll also post the 2025 Trail-boss review I have done soon. That truck looks almost identical from the exterior to the untrained eye, and it’s 20k cheaper. I’m not surprised why I see so many Trail-bosses in my area.
Also, revisit the numbers. I am not so certain the Ford numbers are just F150s... they might actually be F-series. That encompasses F150, 250, 350, etc. If GM did that they would outsell Fords by like double. OK maybe I exaggerate, but you get the meaning. I have nothing against Fords. I've owned a couple F-150's in my lifetime and enjoyed them... I just hate all the "sales pitches" and "number games" the manufacturers play.
I have a 24 ZR2 Duramax. Sticker was 75 but I paid 67,800. For reference a Lariat tremor which is comparable to this trim is easily 80k plus. So is a loaded Ram Rebel. Heck even a optioned out LT Trail Boss is easily 68k sticker
I hate to say it, as I’m absolutely enraged at how expensive vehicles have gotten over the last few years, that being said….for 75 and probably more realistically you can get one OTD 68-70….this specific truck might actually be worth it. A lifted, diesel off-road monster with dual lockers and a boat load of features….hmmm
Love the Red.
It would be Gorgeous with Tan or Brown interior
Yeah, that would be a cool combo!

Beautiful truck! But diesel? Gelling? Turbos? If it does well in long run? I may consider it. But in cold weather I’m still a gas engine believer.
That’s fair! But the sound and MPG of the 3.0 is no joke. 🤪
@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 it would be great if I could find some owners of them in northern states!
@@robertsahli9998I live in North Idaho and own a 24 ZR2 duramax. Got it in January it was perfectly fine in the cold.
Silverado use to be the top tier package, kind of like the XLT Lariat.

Oh, just want to say that actually I really like your videos. :) Despite my two "grumpy old man" posts.
Haha you’re fine, thanks for watching a couple of them! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I have a 2024 silverado. . It needs a bigger fuel tank and some way to lock the fuel door. If you pressure wash it water can get in the tank!!
Thanks for sharing this!!
Silverado USED to be a level. A long time ago. So instead of say, a high country, you got a "silverado". Then Chevy decided to call the truck that.
Also, there was a stone stuck in the tread. Since I saw it, it cannot be unseen, I have a thing where if I see them I have to remove them. TORTURE!
Yeah the old C1500 and K1500 was the most recent model “name” before it officially became Silverado, right? Haha I get that, sorry about the rock! 🤪😅
Yes the lower trim was the Cheyenne, and the more luxurious was the Silverado! Glad I’m not the only one that remembers that lol
33 Tires are BS at minimal should've been 35's. The ZR2 Colorado has bigger tires.
Yeah, they look like little donut tires. Not good.
Yeah, they look more like what should be standard on the Silverados with how big modern trucks are. The Colorado ZR2 Bison has 35’s.
75k for a truck ? lol, never
Got mine for 69k worth every penny you have no idea how good this truck is plus 23MPG !!!!! Insane
I’ve heard the non lifted trim levels can even get low-mid 30’s at highway speed. That’s amazing haha.
