Exactly on the gas. I use Gas Buddy on my phone, works most of the time but needs user input to update on gas prices. It’ll help you find a station if your in an unfamiliar area

As long as you're doing a lot of highway driving your truck should be okay. It's when you do a lot of City driving that the EGR and DPF become unreliable.

Like the video…… but driving with tow mirrors out is sooo much better than not having them out, with or without a load or trailer. The field of view is greater with them in tow setup. I do it, but I’m no bro dozer…. Yet ironically I do wear a flat brim trucker hat. 😂

Fuel over here - Petrol (gas) is currently $7 gal. Diesel is $9 gal
I think the fuel lines could be connected to two different tanks with a switch inside to swap tanks. That's how old fords with dual tanks did it years ago, or maybe just small electric pump to pump from one to the other tank as you drive with switch in cab and fuel level gauges for both tanks inside cab
Maybe a float control so transfer pump won't run when main tank is full
Paint a mark on the box where your ball is, then draw a line on your gooseneck to show you where to stop rather than relocating your camera.
I know transport trucks just have both tanks hooked together and somehow they always stay equal fullness with either 1 or 2 gauges and no need to switch tanks or anything

Personally I like the newer DEF systems. On the Freightliners/Internationals I've experienced, when the "Exhaust Regeneration Process" (or "Re-Gen") starts, the newer DEF systems seems to be less moody. The older systems still had Re-Gen, but it used diesel. I asked "wouldn't that just create more soot" but evidently not. (The Re-Gen cleans the soot off of the filter witch is like basily like a giant catalytic converter. Don't tell the thieves that. ) On the older systems if your truck needed to Re-Gen and it was real super cold out, you had to pray. Sometimes it was a different tube from the tank and the fuel was gelled. I had to flush out a "doser valve" once with WD-40 and a Leatherman Wave on the side of the road once because the truck wasn't regening and and it was going to leave me and a student stranded. I just tried that and it worked. I'm glad I had that little lesson from that mechanic I meet along that willy wonka experience.
(A warning light would come on and you had to immediately get up to 60 mph on level ground with the cruze on or pull over to do the manual process. If you don't you truck would go into limp-in mode)
When they would "go wrong" often times the problem "can't be found" and it would randomly start to work again. Phantom issues were common and the different fuel blends we were forced to switch to weren't helping.
I was surprised how quickly I grew to hate something I thought I would love. I still miss it though.

Delete the grid heater at least. Get a intake horn. There is a bolt that can fall off and it can be expensive. Not super common but can happen.
My leveled mega cab 2500 fit in a standard 8’ garage door. Sunroof glass would rub on the moulding but it fit.

@@RobertMoseley yea, i literally just finished watching that one. That is a beautiful truck. Only thing that’s to bad about it is the 68. A aisin is really the way to go. Keep the fluid changed and bump up line pressure as much as you can in the tune. Hopefully banks does this but idk. It really benefits from a new pump/regulator to get line pressure up higher than stock pump can do.
