@@graciebrown5805 I learned to cook at 8. If she didnt know how to cook them she would be dead. Remember people used to get married at 13 around that time.
Well thats what i thought cuz when fairy god mother and Fiona first meet Fiona doesnt know who she is if she saw fairy godmother as a child then do you think she wouldve recognized her? She either disguised herself or she wiped Fiona's memory.
I do think that fairy godmother cursed Fiona, and I think she did this so that her son, Charming could marry Fiona, but in the first film Fiona was very head strong, and I think she's been like this most of her life, and since she was apparently cursed when she was 7, she probably was very head strong and independent, and fairy godmother feared that she would never marry her son, so cursed her to turn her into an ogre by night, to lower her self esteem, so she falls weak and will only rely on a prince coming and saving her.
It shows how Fiona gets cursed in the “special features” of the first movie, and it IS Fairy Godmother wearing a cloak. She then shows up the next day sparkling telling her parents about the prophecy of the towers.
Oh yea and in the Shrek musical they actually have a whole song about her in the tower after the mirror says he has special features about the curse and ber backstory lol look up Shrek musical I know it's today
this is litterally the plot to the second movie . her dad was a frog the fairy godmother cursed fionna so that her son prince charming could marry fionna and become the next king, frog king made that deal with fairy godmother was so he coud be human not a frog and be married to the queen of far far away
But, the beginning of the movie talks about how Fiona was born and everybody was happy till the sun set down and she turned into an ogre and then after that they seeked the help of Fairy Godmother whom decided to lock her away in a tower. It doesn't even mention that she caused the curse. Now I totally agree that she did I'm just saying that the movie never mentioned it.

It makes total sense for the Fairy Godmother to have cursed Fiona. Given how much she threatened King Harold in the 2nd film & she mentions how she “did a favor” for him. Plus it’s a great spin on the character archetype
The Fairy Godmother cursed Fiona so that her son, Prince Charming, could save her. They would fall in love, kiss to break her curse, and Charming would be King.
Yes she did curse her (I’m making more parts on this soon) there’s SOO much more to the fairy godmother she’s really creepy when the rabbit hole is gone down it’s very cool :D
The Theorizer she definitely did it. It's addressed multiple times. Definitely not a theory because they say it in the movie. I always assumed this wasn't even a question until now. And when I found your videos a few months ago, it just cemented that she did it.
I think Fairy Godmother cursed Fiona in order to arrange her son’s marriage into the royal family. Then Rumpelstiltskin started working on his own hostile takeover plan once she was out of the way. He technically never promised to break the curse for king Harold and queen Lillian, just that he would make their problems disappear - by making them disappear.
@@andreingramakadjscrewrip7372 he has reality bending powers sure it has to be made through a deal but he makes the contracts so he can warp reality hell it’ll even be specific to where even not full ogres won’t count in freeing all ogres
Fairy Godmother cursed Fiona, they tell you straight up in the second movie and it's in the wiki. Fairy Godmother agreed to turn the king (who was originally a frog) human so he could marry the queen under the stipulation that he would marry his daughter to her son, prince charming. By fairytale law they have to go through some trial in order to get a fairtale wedding and Happy Ever After. So she curses Fiona and has them lock her in a tower with tons of princess stories so she would remember that in order to be a princess the prince must rescue her and break the spell (see Shrek the musical). However, they were not expecting anyone else to succeed in saving her (it was rigged boi) so they decided it was safe (see bad parenting). Shrek comes and saves her, they both become ogers, charming doesn't get his way for once( see spoiled brat) and that's how we get the plot of the second movie. This is also supported by the fourth movie where Shrek never rescued Fiona and the only way they could save her is with rumplestiltskins help, as he was the only one who could match fairy godmother's magic. (The reason prince not so charming didn't rescue Fiona in this timeline is because Rumplbsgshsbskin made it so Fairy Godmother's deal was broken with the king because he turned him back into a toad and killed em:-D)
James/ drv157 yes, we are. The end of the second movie and and a major plot point in the third shows us that he was a frog who the fairygod mother turned human
Well, in the Shrek universe, have you ever seen a male fairy (well, I say "fairy", she's MUCH larger than the ones in a bottle. Maybe those are pixies?) Anyways, what if like the Gerudos, fairies are a female-only race and all males end up human (or whatever race the father was)? Or yeah, what if she just used magic?
Even if it's not a theory, but a plotpoint, it's still interesting to think about it; after all, Fionna's memory on the events is actually foggy on the details.
So I find this all really interesting but I have another point of view I’d like to share. We know that Fiona’s dad was originally a frog. The fairy god mother was the one who changed him into a human. Then he marries Fiona’s human mom and they have her. HUMAN + FROG = FROG/HUMAN LOOKING OGRE. From here her father then approached the fairy god mother to help his daughter. She did and in exchange told her parents that Fiona’s “curse” would be broken by marrying her son. Fiona’s parents (at least her father) lied to her. He didn’t want anyone to find out that he was a frog and that is why Fiona was what she was. So he made up the curse. This theory also follows the plot of the original story too. She was born an ogre and then the fairy god mother helped her in exchange for having her marry his son.
Nazeefa Imazen In the beginning it made sense: The fairy godmother, duh! If she had the frog wrapped around her finger, she already had the upper hand. So why the curse? I came up with this just now but she could have been saved by someone else. Point being it doesn’t add up for all of you not into storytelling and plots and don’t watch movies like me like a boss. Fairy godmother cursed Fiona to be in love with Prince Charming (why the curse with the dragon and becoming an ogre? An enemy of both the king, queen, and fairy godmother?) It wasn’t Rumple cuz he would have been able to keep Far far away since Fiona is free. He had no way of helping her. Anyways, my last theory and only theory are that someone else cursed Fiona. Against Fiona maybe she had a prejudice against ogres idk there could be a background story for when she was younger but good at heart. And so she was cursed and guarded to find her true love (whatever form that may be) because only the one who truly loves her rescues her. But someone else cursed Fiona, hint: fairy godmothers enemy?
exactly !! fairy godmother knew that turning fron into human would inevitably result in a curse if a child is born and then she´d be "so helpful" cuz frog already a king would secure a position for godmother´s son as an heir of the throne and since Fiona herself wrote mrs. Fiona Charming, she must´ve had been "drilled" and sort of indoctrinated that a princ Charming would come and rescue her and with a true love´s kiss the curse would be lifted.. a brilliant plan.. fairy had a great amount of luck with this particular frog, wishing to become human.. as I see it this particular fairy as an intriguing meddler with love between people that primarilly server to her a way of getting what she wants.. she like totally abuses her powers regardless of the consequences cuz she always ends up with the upper hand.. as she can always undo the happily ever after of anyone who dares to oppose her..
I thought it was already a fact that the fairy godmother did it? I mean, everything in the second movie pretty much points to the king becoming a prince in exchange for his first born daughter (which, I mean, was kinda the norm in the day, even if it’s not okay now)

He's not Fiona's Prince. Charming was definitely stolen from the Stolen from the Story of Rapunzel. If you're witch theory on Fairygodmother is correct then Shrek could be trouble.
Dude, it seemed pretty obvious to me that Fiona was cursed by Fairy Godmother. Fairy Godmother and the King had made a deal when she turned him from a frog into a prince. The deal was that his daughter would be her son's, Prince Charming, wife, making him the king like he always wanted. Fairy Godmother wanted her son to be remembered as the charming prince who saved the King's cursed daughter who was locked in a tower. It's not that deep lmaooo
To expand on this: It would also make sense for the Fairy Godmother to disguise herself as a Witch so Fiona wouldn't recognized her. Think about it, Fiona was 7 when she left for the tower. 7! She was a kid, and the princess of the kingdom. How would a Witch even get close to Fiona while she was living in the castle or visiting her other friends of royalty? She was watched over 24/7. It would make sense that it was Fairy Godmother, disguised of course. And comments mention how she was 7 and how was she able to take care of herself in a lonely tower. Well, in the movie Fiona didn't even recognize her, which means she was in complete isolation, the Fairy Godmother never even visited her. So I think the Fairy Godmother teleported goods to the tower, watching her in secret so she knew what to send probably while she slept.
When it came to Shrek getting to Fiona first, I think that Fairy Godmother didn't count on the egotistical little Napoleon known as Lord Farquaad holding a tournament to find someone to rescue Fiona (so that he himself could marry her and get his perfect kingdom), which Shrek won despite being an uninvited guest. Of course, Farquaad's plan to marry Fiona backfired on him.
I always thought it was made pretty obvious the Fairy Godmother did it, they didn't explicitly say it but I don't think they NEEDED to. I suppose I could have just had the same idea as you when I was watching it as a kid and just assumed it was canon all these years.
@@andreasmeelie1889 I think it was the beginning of the film and the scene where Fairy Godmother threatening King Harold to make Fiona to fall in love with a love potion she gave or she will turn him in to his frog from which is his true from at the end of the film.
I always just assumed it was the fairy godmother? I thought it was obvious? I mean she wanted to assure that her son gets to marry her+ it's even more control that she can have over the king.
could be she pulled a Snow White and disguised herself as a witch and no one didn't question that witches don't have that kind of powers because maybe no one's ever really messed with a witch before??? it's like an urban legend sorta thing lol
BKgirl483 - that would make a lot of sense. Seeing how she doesn't see anything she does as wrong. If she had disgusied herself no blame could be placed on her.
BKgirl483 - Could’ve done, but some people think that the Witch is the Evil Queen’s true form and I don’t know if it’ll be the same 4 the Fairy Godmother. I mean, I like 2 think so, but that doesn’t mean everyone else should.

The way they implied it was kinda vague and kinda drifted over the point. It just sounded like the whole frog king thing and Fiona’s case were two seperate things.
Do people not that believe in this theory?... I figure this out when I was a kid and thought It was common knowledge that the witch was fairy godfather
Emmalee Bettes No, not really. Shrek went on his own to get a potion from her, but she didn't want to help him so he just took it in this sort of "heist" scene.

I have a theory what if her turning into a org wasnt because a curse but her bwing human was a magic spell because at the end of the 1st one you find out her dad is only human magically so maybe when she turned into the org it wasnt a curse but more of the other half of her side turning back into a frog
Personally when I first saw Shrek, I thought it was pretty obvious it was the Fairy Godmother who cursed Fiona. Since she did want her son Prince Charming to marry Fiona and she did have an agreement with the king, while having the magical prowess pull off such plan.
I have a theory. You know how until Shrek ever after Shrek and Fiona are the only ogres we see, well maybe there’s a reason for that. The rest of the ogre species might’ve been slaughtered by humans, and somehow Queen Lillian was there (and maybe Fiona). So to stop their species from going extinct an ogre that practiced magic cursed the the Queen to have her child become an ogre
Fiona's father was working with the Fairy Godmother, because it was Fairy Godmother cast the spell on him that allowed him to become human and when he kissed Princess Lillian. so it is likely her plan was to involve her son rescuing Fiona, and freeing her ogure curse, question is how did the mirror know Fiona's location somebody most likely tipped him off, I'm guessing the only who knew Fiona's location where her parents and the Fairy Godmother and of course Prince Charming.
she's a human who inherited some frog characteristics(that make her look like an ogre) from her dad, since he is really just a frog with a "human" makeover.
Here's a question. Who was Prince Charming's father? I assume he is a king, since his son's title is Prince, and his mother was, well, The Fairy God Mother. So you got to wonder, which King was woed by The Fairy God Mother to have them produce a son together?
Couldn't Prince Charming's "Prince" not be a title but part of his actual name? Shrek is full of parodies after all, so I think writers may gave this name to Charming, who isn't an actual prince, to make fun out of other typical fairy tales princes
I thought Arthur was among King Harold's (Fiona's father) line of descendants. Like his brother's son. So, it would be considered incest if Fiona and Prince Charming hooked up. And I don't think even Dreamworks would go that messed up route with a movie like this.
I think Arthur's ment to be Queen Lillian's brothers son...they have more of a likeness, also don't you think Charming and Arthur look very closely related, half brothers maybe?
It does make sense as no random witch would have any reason to do that even if they did have the magic while godmother had the motive of her son marrying Fiona

I was thinking that too. Otherwise Fiona probably would have recognised the fairy godmother from the first time she saw her as a little girl. Either that or she put a forgetfulness charm on Fiona she couldn't remember the fairy god mother (like in Harry Potter haha).
Yess! 👍 This has been my headcanon since I saw the second(?) movie and learned of the Fairy Godmother's existence. I really felt it was confirmed with Prince Charming being essentially created to take the throne in FGM's place.
And because she wanted that throne and Princy will die someday because he is human. She would have that throne! I believe that was her plan for it all.
I thought that it was _established_ in the movies that Fairy Godmother was _indeed_ the one who cursed Fiona. It was obvious from just the movies alone.
I remember thinking this when I was little. I thought it was strange it was so perfectly setup that her son was to save Fiona and then marry her. Definitely affirmed the theory for me!
It was definitely Fairy Godmother, she's the only one shown to be able to change someone's appearance. My question in the second film was more about the Happily-Ever-After potion. Shrek drank it and both he and Fiona turned human, so if Donkey drinking it turned him into a stallion, what did it turn Dragon into?
It was stated she turned into a pegasus in a commentary for Shrek 2, I can't seem to find the commentary anywhere online though so sadly I can't link you.
OK but one question what does fairy godmother get out of this? If her son is the king of far far away? In the kingdom, she’s already treated like a celebrity and people come to her whenever they need a spell or a potion so really I don’t think she really needs royal authority when everyone in the kingdom already adore her maybe she was just trying to help her son out and while I’m asking, I wonder what took Prince charming so long to get to Fiona
@Elrond Lavon Rivendell Tucker Was this during the scene when she blackmailed King Harold, or was it during the one where she tried to use a lightning bolt on Shrek??
The world was gonna rule me I ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed. She was looking kind of dumb With her finger and her thumb In the shape of an L on her forehead And the years start coming And they won’t stop coming
Dude...She herself admits it was her who made the curse. She wanted her son ( Prince Charmin) to be king so that she could rule through her son. .....Have you watched all the movies carefully??? This is not a theory.....but a fact.......
And I thought that I was the first one who thought that one of Rumpel's witches cursed Fiona so that he can scam the King and Queen into selling their kingdom to put an end to her curse...
I totally agree with all of this! ever since Fairy Godmother was first introduced into the franchise, it was very obvious for where Godmother's motives were headed. She had the power and motivation to create Fiona's curse out of selfish desire to hook Fiona up with her son, Prince Charming. Becoming an ogre every night until both Fiona and Charming came of age to wed almost guaranteed that the king and queen wouldn't find any other suitors for Fiona's hand. Fiona's self-consciousness of becoming an ogre every night even made her herself question "How can anyone love a hideous, ugly beast?" Fiona and her parents were both manipulated to think that a proper suitor couldn't be found in anyone but Prince Charming, out of pure love or otherwise. Fairy Godmother created an elaborate, selfish plan so that she and her son would come to power over the entire kingdom. Even going to the extent of threatening Fiona's dad by turning him back into the Frog Prince if his daughter didn't marry Prince Charming.
In how to train your dragon, does hiccup have some sort of power. That possibly was passed down by genoration. That is why is mom has it. Drago has it too, but uses it for evil. And Draco might even be related to Hiccup in someway. Draco says dragons killed his family, or maybe that is what he thought. That is why he doesn't reconize her as his sister, it was a long time ago, and he thought they were dead. Also most encounters he has with her, her mask is on. She might say she has been researching, but what if it happened like hiccup. He tamed-a-dragon-ish, then studied. The same thing most likely happened to her. After what happened to drago, drago wanted to destroy dragons, he didn't want others to suffer like he had. With out a family to guide him, over time began to seek power. Hiccup's Mom, Drago, and Hiccup all have many simalities. Just to name a few, hair color, eye color (Drago and hiccup mom has same, hiccup has more green eyes which most likely came from his father), and the ablity to train and control dragons.
Honestly I think it was the Fairy Godmother. I remember there was a scene where the Godmother was talking to the king and she mentioned that she could take something away (meaning like Harold wished to be the big ruler). Maybe Harold had a deal with the Godmother and he sacrificed his own daughter to stay as the king, and she had one condition. That condition could mean that she wanted her son to feel special, making a plot where he had to go fend off a scary dragon to boost up his ego and to marry a royal princess to spoil her own son Charming. She probably watched over Fiona and secretly fed her as a kid so she would keep the plan up for her son.
It makes a lot of sense that Fairy Godmother is the main culprit in Fiona’s curse given her motives and overall character development from the first time we see her in Shrek 2. Since she is very proficient in magic and power hungry, she tricked King Harold into an agreement which resulted in her putting the spell on then 7-year-old Fiona. She knew that the curse made locking Fiona in a tower for years seem better and more poetic in a sense, because then her son Prince Charming could rescue her when the time was right and marry her so Fairy Godmother could take over Far Far Away. She probably planned it so that the kids could bond early on and then once separated make Fiona yearn for him more each passing day, hence the amount of times she wrote “Mrs. Fiona Charming” in her diary. Here’s the timeline I put together: - Fairy Godmother works close with King Harold before their kids are born - The children are born and Fairy Godmother offers the joining of the two families through the marriage of their children under secret evil motives - For 7 years young Prince Charming and Fiona spend arranged time together to grow a bond and affection - Fairy Godmother in disguise puts the curse on Fiona at age 7 and convinces Harold that it’s all apart of the plan, then locks her in the tower with the dragon - Fiona is left waiting and longing more for who she believes is her true love Prince Charming to come rescue her for 23 years because she was brainwashed into believing so
I always kinda thought it had to be the Fairy Godmother. I mean for the reasons stated in the video, but also if you go back into the lore of faeries in ancient times, they're more like...evil little gremlins or spirits/demons/what-have-you for the most part. It's really not that far a stretch as many of us thought as kids for a fairy to be evil. lol
Probably not 'evil', per say, but mischievous and vengeful beings should they be crossed. You should not trust them, because they'll lead you astray, and you absoultely MUST word any boon carefully; they'll use any and every loophole to twist what you say you want. In one story, a woman wished to have a baby, the fae granted her wish, but the child never grew up, forcing her to take care of it the rest of her days. They are dangerous in their own right.
@@Yams-Hams7734 that's so annoying when people assume you are way younger, they don't even bother to ask your age (at least, that's how it was for me, they didn't ask, I always said something implying my real age, and they said "oh, I thought you were 14", I know they didn't mean to be rude, but I still wouldn't mind if people asked my age before assuming)
I think Fiona was probably born with the curse but it only had shown when she was 7 since her father had the curse of being a frog and both ways to fix their problems was a true love kiss
Your theory really sums up Princess Fiona's situation, as I think it makes sense that the Fairy Godmother was responsible for cursing her. Although I wouldn't count on Shrek the Musical since it's non-canonical and it was a retelling of the first chapter of Shrek.

The Fairy Godmother cursed Fiona so that her son, Prince Charming, could save her. They would fall in love, kiss to break her curse, and Charming would be King.

Funny there's also something like that in a Shrek 2 Creepypasta Alternate death of Fairy Godmother.
The Theorizer oh dang the theorizer 👍👍👍👍
I saw ur video and loved it
The Theorizer Hey there, Theorizer! Hope you remember me from that question I had about a certain OUAT character....
Diet game theory hello hello
I think Fairy Godmother cursed Fiona in order to arrange her son’s marriage into the royal family. Then Rumpelstiltskin started working on his own hostile takeover plan once she was out of the way. He technically never promised to break the curse for king Harold and queen Lillian, just that he would make their problems disappear - by making them disappear.
He was never powerful enough to break the curse imo
@@andreingramakadjscrewrip7372 he has reality bending powers sure it has to be made through a deal but he makes the contracts so he can warp reality hell it’ll even be specific to where even not full ogres won’t count in freeing all ogres

Alayna Gray Nah you aren’t alone. She looks even better with her hair loose
Shrek is kind of cute as well.
I disagree but I won't judge
No you aren't, my friend. 😉
She's ok considering... but not beautiful. But that personality is great enough to (in universe) overlook it.
How To Tell are we sure he wasn't human lol
James/ drv157 yes, we are. The end of the second movie and and a major plot point in the third shows us that he was a frog who the fairygod mother turned human
They don’t tell you she cursed Fiona though.
You have so much time
The queen always had known her husband was a frog
I've always wondered who the father was of Prince Charming?
If his mother was the Fairy Godmother, wouldn't he have some magic of his own?
i think he's adopted. it's only speculation on my part, though.
@Rachel Fourie I think his name is Prince. I dont think he's an actual prince
@@smol_chilli_pepper There's another video about this you guys! Look it up on TH-cam. It's so interesting.
I always thought the fairy godmother created charming using magic?
Well, in the Shrek universe, have you ever seen a male fairy (well, I say "fairy", she's MUCH larger than the ones in a bottle. Maybe those are pixies?)
Anyways, what if like the Gerudos, fairies are a female-only race and all males end up human (or whatever race the father was)?
Or yeah, what if she just used magic?

this....shouldn't even be a theory. It's a plotpoint in the second film. They kinda make it straightforward in the film.
Luximus THANK YOU
That's what I was thinking
Even if it's not a theory, but a plotpoint, it's still interesting to think about it; after all, Fionna's memory on the events is actually foggy on the details.
Oh piss off. Some people might be confused, lots of kids watch this movie
Luximus exactly thank you this theory makes as much since as that puss in boot movie
I actually read all that

Nazeefa Imazen In the beginning it made sense:

Fairy godmother cursed Fiona to be in love with Prince Charming (why the curse with the dragon and becoming an ogre? An enemy of both the king, queen, and fairy godmother?)
It wasn’t Rumple cuz he would have been able to keep Far far away since Fiona is free.
I've thought about this too and honestly it's a pretty sound theory
exactly !! fairy godmother knew that turning fron into human would inevitably result in a curse if a child is born and then she´d be "so helpful" cuz frog already a king would secure a position for godmother´s son as an heir of the throne and since Fiona herself wrote mrs.
I agree with this theory. It makes more sense than the other theory
I thought it was already a fact that the fairy godmother did it? I mean, everything in the second movie pretty much points to the king becoming a prince in exchange for his first born daughter (which, I mean, was kinda the norm in the day, even if it’s not okay now)

To expand on this:
It would also make sense for the Fairy Godmother to disguise herself as a Witch so Fiona wouldn't recognized her.

I always had that theory but couldn't think of a character untill I saw Shrek 2
I have a theory what if her turning into a org wasnt because a curse but her bwing human was a magic spell because at the end of the 1st one you find out her dad is only human magically so maybe when she turned into the org it wasnt a curse but more of the other half of her side turning back into a frog
I thought this was confirmed lol
Didn't they say fairy God mother was the one who cursed Fiona in sherk 2
KingAce 17 no iv seen it like over 100 times and never said that she actually did it but in my opinion implied it
Fiona's father was working with the Fairy Godmother, because it was Fairy Godmother cast the spell on him that allowed him to become human and when he kissed Princess Lillian. so it is likely her plan was to involve her son rescuing Fiona, and freeing her ogure curse, question is how did the mirror know Fiona's location somebody most likely tipped him off, I'm guessing the only who knew Fiona's location where her parents and the Fairy Godmother and of course Prince Charming.
Dont forget the magic mirror
Don't forget it's "magic mirror", he could possibly answer any question asked of him (though the answer may not be what you want to hear)
she's a human who inherited some frog characteristics(that make her look like an ogre) from her dad, since he is really just a frog with a "human" makeover.
Here's a question. Who was Prince Charming's father? I assume he is a king, since his son's title is Prince, and his mother was, well, The Fairy God Mother. So you got to wonder, which King was woed by The Fairy God Mother to have them produce a son together?
Master Riku Perhaps Fiona's father
Couldn't Prince Charming's "Prince" not be a title but part of his actual name? Shrek is full of parodies after all, so I think writers may gave this name to Charming, who isn't an actual prince, to make fun out of other typical fairy tales princes
Master Riku it could be Arthur's dad who fell in love with the god mother. So charming could be Arthur's half brother.
It was the Fairy Godmother (according to The Theorizer)
It does make sense as no random witch would have any reason to do that even if they did have the magic while godmother had the motive of her son marrying Fiona

I've always thought it was Fairy Godmother so she could have her son marry into the royal family
The fairy godmother could have disguised herself as a witch when she cursed Fiona.
I was thinking that too. Otherwise Fiona probably would have recognised the fairy godmother from the first time she saw her as a little girl. Either that or she put a forgetfulness charm on Fiona she couldn't remember the fairy god mother (like in Harry Potter haha).
Fairy Godmother did it 😤😤😤
It explains a lot cause Fiona was little so she couldn’t recognise fairy godmother and mistake her for a witch

It was confirmed by the people behind Shrek that Dragon turned into a pegasus :)

Please do Kubo theory because in the ending they never said how Kubo’s grandpa became evil with those blue things (I forgot what they were called)
One time in science class the teacher turned on Shrek. Half of the kids in the class including me started singing All Star. It was fun
Shrek is love Shrek is life.
Here’s the timeline I put together:
- Fairy Godmother works close with King Harold before their kids are born
- The children are born and Fairy Godmother offers the joining of the two families through the marriage of their children under secret evil motives
- For 7 years young Prince Charming and Fiona spend arranged time together to grow a bond and affection
- Fairy Godmother in disguise puts the curse on Fiona at age 7 and convinces Harold that it’s all apart of the plan, then locks her in the tower with the dragon
- Fiona is left waiting and longing more for who she believes is her true love Prince Charming to come rescue her for 23 years because she was brainwashed into believing so
We already knew it was the Fairy godmother
I think that the reason fairy godmother cursed her is so that Prince Charming can kiss her so he can move out her house and not be lonely.
Shrek is love.
Shrek is life.
it’s not a phase, mom no never that
Oh hell yeah
It is my religion, along with Cheez-it’s Christ of course.
Have you guys seen the shrek is love shrek is life video it's weird
I was always thought the godmother fairy did it. I was certain she implied it in the movie for some reason haha
I was in shrek (the musical) at a community theatre and I played young Fiona and I had to pretend I was 7.
I’m 12.....
i think i remember you
I feel ya when I was 14, someone said that I looked 9.
When I was 16, some people told me I looked 12-14
@@nekokawaii235 your not alone, when I was 13 people said that I looked like a nine year old. I was in 8th grade, they thought I was in 3rd grade.🙄😑
Love your new setup
I thought we all new fair god mother had cursed her.
I think Fiona was probably born with the curse but it only had shown when she was 7 since her father had the curse of being a frog and both ways to fix their problems was a true love kiss
It was fairy godmother :)
Shrek is Love Shrek is Life
YOU BETTER STOP!!!!!!!
Your theory really sums up Princess Fiona's situation, as I think it makes sense that the Fairy Godmother was responsible for cursing her.
Although I wouldn't count on Shrek the Musical since it's non-canonical and it was a retelling of the first chapter of Shrek.
This has been my question for so long thank you.
I'm glad I could answer it for you then!!!
Carla Hunter same
Really? It's addressed multiple times. Definitely not a theory because they say it in the movie.
Pittsburgh Bear exactly! I thought I remembered that they did say it
Vicky Mendoza yeah, like multiple times.
*OMG I LOVE U FOR DOING THIS LOVE THIS MOVIE LOVE THIS THEORY LOVE EVERY DAY*
how did he get rid of the blushing? Or is it makeup
greenrobot5 I have no idea lol
I think the Wicked Witch that cursed her could be the villain for Shrek 5.
YOU EVEN SHOWED THE SCENE WHERE IT SAYS FAERIE GODMOTHER DID IT
Can you do a How to Train your Dragon Theory if you're going to do some Dreamworks theories
I agree completely with your theory. Not only does it make sense but some other TH-camrs have the same theory about the fairy godmother cursing Fiona for literally the same reasons. Great video!
I Though THIS Was Covered in Shrek 2 that it was
Congrats For Many Subs and 250 Videos! Keep the good work up Wotso My man!
3:40 👍 I agreed one thousand percent, so it has to be the fairly godmother, it must be......
I thought everyone knew this...
