- When you only need some structures, not all, on a diorama, some surgery is in order. It's knives and bandsaws to get the structures I want safely and neatly on to my layout.

That was painful for me to watch. Such a nice diorama to get hacked up. Well, you had to do what you felt you had to do. I would have loved that diorama sitting on my shelf!

An insulation knife might have worked but you came out ok. Your kits are so beautiful, I'd die trying to do that especially since I don't have a ban saw.😊
I like your comment about weighing time to cut it up versus building another one! It can be a tough decision, but in my estimation you made the correct decision. Anything else going under the saw???

Doug, I had my heart in my mouth when you started pushing the building through the band saw, I had though, "Uh Oh - not good", but it worked out.

That really came apart nicely, sweating bullets when doing bandsaw but glad it worked out. That’s an awesome reuse of buildings, fits the area really well. Can’t wait to see finished scene.
