Definitely got that deep in the city feel. Like a lot of areas I film in Cleveland. The dirt in the scrap yard definitely needs wheel tracks and oily/rusty muddy puddles.
Hearing the thought process behind your layout design is really helpful. I plan to use some of your elevation ideas to break up the flatness in my towns. The detail and level of realism in your layout is outstanding!
No doubt that your layout is one of a kind. Fine details and awesome weathering. There are so many hours of work in this. Only modelers have an idea on how it can be demanding to get to that level. Keep on your good work !

This reminds me of the riverfront area of New Orleans, the city I am from. N O was flat but the buildings, the litter and the congestion we're there. When I was young I was riding my bike along the tracks and was about to crush a pile of newspaper only to see it move. There was a guy sleeping under the paper. Nobody got hurt.😊

I love the REVS/COST graffiti tag on that building!! That tag was all over NYC in the 1980s, I remember it from when I was a kid taking my first trips to the city!

Just found your channel all i can say is wow. Awesome details, great weathering. Everything looks awesome, except the door on the box car is upside down. Guess it's easy to do. I have a buddy who has about a dozen Athearn kits done the same way.
Your layout looks fantastic great detail but you need lots of pigeons and lots of pigeon droppings and a few pigeon hutches on the roof tops that was a real thing in the 20s through the 70s in all the big cities and even in the countryside nice job

One detail that I truly hate to mention, but I will ..... the door on the Gorre & Daphetid box car appears to me to be upside down, the latches belong at the bottom ..... The good news is, this is the only negative thing I have to say about any of your videos, kits and modeling. Your layout is simply superb; I'm challenged to even attempt to meet your standards. I have several of your kits, predominantly they are the background kits. I just recently received your church kit which will be displayed directly in front of the visitors as they enter my layout room. Your kits are a pleasant challenge to build, finish, weather and place on my railroad as it is beginning to take shape. Keep up the great work. 👍👍
Hi Tug, Nice layout. You should check out Vick Smith's layout and Cal Puglesse Pugsville layout. Their layouts are fantastic! Always finding new ideas from there layouts. Those two are the best I've ever seen. By the way, love your Burger King trash detail. Very cool!!!! Some of your weathering I would tone down. Somes is a bit overdone. Just friendly input. No offense intended. Love many of your scale kits too, Tug. Keep up the great content! Peace

@FosScaleModels My man knows. I couldn't tell they were getting buffed. I was lucky enough to see them in action back in 1998 in the middle of the day and do their art. That's when Canal Street was good. R.I.P Bomb the system and Pearl Paint.

This is an absolutely fantastic, evolving design! The side cobblestone Streets, small yards , and buildings, and extensive detail, (kind of reminds me of George Sellios urban scenes). The elevated line plus the subway is just fantastic! This great depth with the way you designed at angles with the streets, buildings, and signs. Growing up in the Bronx I really like this.

This is sick. This looks like the Sunnyside train yard. Revs and Cost only used Rollers. I don't believe they ever used cans.
Yes just rollers, wide big letters, lots of ladders.... The spray painter is tagging over it, might not be visible in video.
