There was a massive roster rail coming from the release at the Jindy dam wall. I’m on a 2 night trip in one location at the moment, but got led astray by some young fellas camping near me, first night wasn’t real relaxing !! 🤦🏽🤣 Heaps going on as usual… struggle to keep up at times. Mate. A bit further down sandy creek track there is an amazing offshoot down to the river. I camped there last year, was stunning, right on the bend in the river.

The joys of camping on the edge of a stream. Had same dilemma on my way home from last years Vic HC trip. We camped by a creek and I setup some rocks as a guide and during the night the water came up maybe 6 inches. But once it was in my head the water was rising I couldnt sleep so we moved up off the edge onto the higher ground above the bank. Great sleep afrer that. Next morning the water had receeded to where it was the day before. Cracking spot but. Loved the vid.

Thanks Krusty. What a magnificent spot, not just the Snowy, or the setting, but the fact you're on your own. Still plenty of places that aren't overrun with the ubiquitous 4wd four door ute, geezus, they're like R-soles, everyone's got one. I've a few gems that I keep to myself. I like the awning for the Troopship, it fits it like a glove, exactly what I have in mind for my dream camping vehicle. Sure you didn't leave a tap on when you left work after two weeks night shift? Jindabyne might be empty when you get back? You must have walked one kilometre setting up camera's on the 'No Name track', it makes those beers taste better I guess. Cheers mate. Was a little cold BobbyB but my tackle wasn’t inverted. 🤣🤦🏽 I’ve been doing a bit of research on the new Stihl’s… they go well, about 30 min battery life on average. Just need to stay on top of the chain. They have a sale on at the moment, batteries and chargers half price. So 2 batteries and a quick charger. @ won’t give you a pin drop mate, don’t want everyone know the exact location. Take the Sandy Creek Track ( don’t take the first one unless your experienced ) closest to the border and at the bottom take the first left. Plenty of cracking spots done there mate.

Mate. A bit further down sandy creek track there is an amazing offshoot down to the river. I camped there last year, was stunning, right on the bend in the river.

The joys of camping on the edge of a stream. Had same dilemma on my way home from last years Vic HC trip. We camped by a creek and I setup some rocks as a guide and during the night the water came up maybe 6 inches. But once it was in my head the water was rising I couldnt sleep so we moved up off the edge onto the higher ground above the bank. Great sleep afrer that. Next morning the water had receeded to where it was the day before.
Cracking spot but. Loved the vid.

I camped down on the Swampy Plain River two weeks ago and thought it was a good idea to have a swim, instant brain freeze, felt fucken good to get out but, another great adventure mate, keep em coming, see you on site 👍
@@kevindouglas793 be a bit colder there for sure. Ive been meaning to go to there to camp, this episode could have actually been on the Swampy Plain River, but decided to take the Barry Way as it’s a bit more direct route to get home.

Thanks Krusty. What a magnificent spot, not just the Snowy, or the setting, but the fact you're on your own. Still plenty of places that aren't overrun with the ubiquitous 4wd four door ute, geezus, they're like R-soles, everyone's got one. I've a few gems that I keep to myself. I like the awning for the Troopship, it fits it like a glove, exactly what I have in mind for my dream camping vehicle. Sure you didn't leave a tap on when you left work after two weeks night shift? Jindabyne might be empty when you get back? You must have walked one kilometre setting up camera's on the 'No Name track', it makes those beers taste better I guess. Cheers mate. Just take the Sandy Creek Trk ( the section more towards the NSW’s border ) and follow it down, plenty of good camps further down the river also. Definitely worth a trip.

I’ve been doing a bit of research on the new Stihl’s… they go well, about 30 min battery life on average. Just need to stay on top of the chain. They have a sale on at the moment, batteries and chargers half price. So 2 batteries and a quick charger.
I’m about to head out now, gale winds, fair chance I might to use it, I’ll fill ya in. 🤣

Take the Sandy Creek Track ( don’t take the first one unless your experienced ) closest to the border and at the bottom take the first left. Plenty of cracking spots done there mate.
