One day Gav, we are gonna see you catch a fish lol and be shocked 😆 🤣! Love the area around Ton Groggin has fascinated me ever since l first camped in the area in the early 70s. The creeks are pristine and birds and wildlife are abundant. As the days get cooler more and more kurrawongs come down from the mountains as Old Slim use to sing about! It's such a beautiful area, bloody freezing at night, even can get cold in the middle of summer and the Murray still stays bloody cold up there. 😁 Love the huts, it's a pity so many of the real early SEC huts are now in ruins, but still plenty to see if you know where to look. Great episode, love seeing the water crossings. Thank you.
You won’t be the only one who will be shocked. I don’t call it fishing anymore, more like casting for content. Definitely a beautiful part of the world, the bird life is crazy around Buckwong Hut Camping area. Nothing better then waking up to the sounds of nature. Showing ya age there Lee, early 70’s. Thanks for the ongoing support, but more fishing tips would be appreciated. 🤦🏽🤣
@aguyandhistroopy yep lm an old bastard now but still have my memories. LOL I can still catch fish...well sometimes lol 😆 l still have the last lure stuck in my tent mesh window haha. Trick next time you get lure stuck, pull line taut, then give it a hard pull with your hand and quickly let go, the shock to the line will sometimes free up the lure! Errrh hood luck with that!! 😆
Had some time to watch your latest production uninterrupted Krusty. The smells and sounds of the Aussie bush, as well as the peace and quiet, is something I'll never get enough of. I (2wd)drive Canberra Melbourne and return often. The Hume Freeway bores me so I often go via Cabramurra-Adaminiby, or Khancoban- Jindabyne. Camping at Tom Groggin makes the homeward trip enjoyable. River, silence, and the aroma of eucalyptus. Forget the rat race for a while. Your videos are THE best mate. 👍
Cheers Mort, I’m surprised you stayed awake if you watched it interrupted. 🤣 Yeah, there’s nothing better than being out in the bush and just absorbing it all in, it’s a happy place for me. I’d love to put the cameras down one trip and really take it all in. Thanks for the ongoing support of the channel. 👍🏼
Another enjoyable vid to watch I watch a few channels with different styles of presentation, No Talk, Limited Talk, Music, Only Ambient etc etc and I really like the style you present. It's like sitting down over a beer and hearing a yarn. Top Stuff as always
